[Q] Port sense 2.1 from Galaxy Ace???

Hi all!
Can porting this HTC Sense 2.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1545500) to Galaxy Mini?
I love Htc Sense

u need to resize framework
and every apk
to ldpi for that
and need to replace / move libs
change bootpath in kernel

I love Sense as well! I'm trying to port it direct from a HTC phone, but i need CM6 to use as a base since the only HTC with the same resoltuion has a max of 2.2.....

Can port sense from LG GT540?
I can do that?
-replace boot.img from CM 7.2.0
-edit build.prop (LCD density, camera settings...)
-replace all drivers from CM 7.2.0
-replace library from CM 7.2.0

Give it a shot?

what i said previously was plainly for porting sense..i didn take into account the version and the device ur porting it frm.

I think it's.slightly.more complex than tthat, you have to edit the boot.img

I prefer Sense 3.0 .
But I guess that will make our little ARMv6 devices lag seriously...

But this is discontinued. Or at least no updates for more than a month.
I never tried it because of the RIL problems.

It's just a theme that they've used as default. But with MIUI you could just download the theme (there are several iOS themes). I don't understand why people buy an android phone to make it look exactly like iOS but okay.

But where can i get it?

the answer is in the screenshots. MIUI has a system where you can download them directly from your phone - they'll install automatically etc. it's really not that hard.

1.Install miui GB
2.Download Espier launcher (iOS launcher)
3.Download SdIphone theme, UiPhone 4G v7.0 theme, and miui iphone theme
4. Mix them to get best combo
5. Enjoy

it can be transferred but drivers won't work properly, secondly it won't support hardware acceleration, thirdly lots of crashes may make your phone to come to First Level of Bricking.
So kindly Don't try to do this.

Is there any sources available (There should be since its based on a a open-source platform). I couldn't find any (I also can't read most of the pages about it since it's not in a language that I can understand ). It look really good.

Your confusing the word port. If it's a supported device then it's official not a port.
SE is working on porting SlimBean.Open another thread if you wan't to discuss it. This thread is for flyme port possibility.

As soon as my Exams finish I'll see if I can do it. The problem is there isn't source available that I could find and it would be a pure port. So it won't be stable.

Nope, the first line of the first post states that it's ICS 4.0.4
4.2 is the version of the rom itself, not android.
A bit confusing btw ^^

No it won't.
This rom won't work on stock kernel, so you need an unlocked bootloader to flash a new one

Thank you, on GT-i9000's thread there are a lot of Xperia mods, launchers, Sony audio tweaks, so any post like this that enriches Nexus S thread is verry welcome :good:
Well I can confirm that it's working with Baked Bleack-Bean 6(4.1.2 base), I have the Samsung S3 wiggets from Articudous aswel (task manager, s voice, etc.) so the best of both worlds....the Album and Film apps are fantastic, I love the launcher costumisation (it's the first olauncher that rivals with Trebucket in terms of options from desctop, app drower to dock) the hole thing is perfect! Any one can see that there is a lot of work and time spent in creating it, so thank you. that option to add a black background in the app drower is pure genious!

jep, of course. Now I'm using JellyShot with only the album and Swype Keyboard. (No mods to save more ram )

'couse it's CM based rom I'm almost 100% sure it's works on it!

working fine in Xenon HD 5.0 based on android 4.2.2

Walkman run on my NS.
The only bug is the Sony Sound Mananger. FC all the time.
I try to fix it.
But if not sucess, i will just replace with DSP Man.

the base is so close to each other, so the answer is 90% yes
btw, make nandroid, install it and come back with feedback

Well, just flashed over RemICS 1.2 CM9 running AirKernel.
Everything is working as expected! Smoothness and no FC for any widget / app of the Xperia bundle.
