Does anyone know if a 64Gb micro sd card works with I9070, or if would there be anything that would stop/prevent it from working?

No, max size is 32gig, it is a hardware setting that can't be changed.
Oh, what a shame. Thought it would handle it the same as S II. Thanks!

It will not hurt your phone to try, if you have someone with 64GB to let you that.

It's not a hardware setting, the hardware supports SDXC or it doesn't.
It'll probably not support MicroSDXC cards as this phone is almost the same as the S3 Mini and many articles write that the S3 mini supports up to 32 GB just like the Galaxy S Advance. So it seems the Novathor chipset do not support MicroSDXC yet.
Although this phone is called the Galaxy S2 lite it doesn't have the Exynos chipset and thus doesn't seem to support 64GB unlike the S2.
As i can't test this myself i could be wrong.
I'll try to get one to test. Won't hurt, anyway. Thanks!

I just tried with 64 GB Kingston class 10 and after format it shows 59 GB available. So it seems to work :victory:

U need high class such as: 32gb class 10 or 64gb class 12

no need using class 10，i using class 4 32GB sd card really enough for me so smooth，when apps running it don't care what class of card，different class card just the read and write(copy and paste files) speed not same only…i just doubt want double confirm 64GB can run i9070 with no problem？

Hi! I can confirm that the SanDisk 64GB Class 10 works with my stock i9070. I put it in the device and formated it. Now I can user 59.4GB.

The main difference is the partition and filesystem that SDXC uses (proprietary M$oft exFAT), I suppose.
If the card is reformated to FAT32 or other FS that android recognise the size of a card, in theory, should be limited only by the sector chosen during the formating.
Am I wrong?

Class 4 (and other classes) stands only for the minumum speed that the card has to deliver to you. So it is possible, that it will be faster in some cases than the class6 device for example.
BTW do you know the reliable app that can measure SD speed in your phone?
I've got Class10 SanDisk. It is said (by the manufacturer) that the speeds are 30MBps up/down. I'm curious if it was a small or a big lie
Try some benchmark to test speed. Antutu is one , but you can choose other.

And of course u can delete it

Best and quick way to partition would be via ClockWorkMod Recovery and it will automatically use EXT4 which is better.
And I would recommend Link2SD, no problem with it so far for me.

hey.... since your using a class 4 sd card remember not to flash new roms frequently as sd extension gets formatted every time you flash a new rom... and if formatted too many times your card is surely going to get damaged soon ... i'm saying this because i've faced this problem !!!

Yes, it will make your external SD card to act like internal memory. And your internal to act like external.

I have a i9000 with 8gb internal (Internal: 1.48gb usb: 5.63 gb and external sd: 7.39gb), now that most of the internal memory is filled with big games. move 2 sd option doesn't move the data to External SD Card.
1. How do i move the app and their data to External SD card?
2. set default location for apps (external sd card)
3. Set location of storage of camera images and videos to use external sd

I believe that 4.2.2. already has this option to move most of the apps to sd card by default. Use App2sd to see all the movable apps at once. So that you can get the idea of movable apps in one picture. Or use Advanced sd card app.
You may be knowing it, but your question has confused. Apologies if you already know about it. Just wanted to help.

Hey fellas, I was wondering if anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it. Pretty much when i press any kind of icon or app even the home button the music will make a popping sound. Any idea what this could be?
What ROM are you using? Do yo use sdcard swap script? I notice there are some lags in multitasking on sdcard swap script.

Just the default OS. I even did a factory reset and im still getting the issue. Thinking about just getting rid of it as i don't see a way to fix this.

I don't have these issues. Try formatting your sdcard first. I'm using Team 32gb microSDHC class 10.
