By my opinion battery cant go from 100 to 0 in 1 sec ?.
Any suggestions ?
Try to charge again and if it happens again then it should be battery problem and you have to get a new one
sent from my w8
press thanks if I helped you
yep! happening to me too..have u using titanium backup shoulde?
I guess your battery is old and it can't hold the charge, is time for a replacement
and btw, have u try clearing the battery stat?
Are you overclocking?
what rom/kernel/tweaks are you using. if a spare battery is available, i suggest you try it first and check if the battery drain is present before actually replacing your battery.
and don't leave it plugged in when the battery's already at 100 percent...
signature under repair
Yes , cpu is overclocked. No I didn't try clearing battery stats yet. Didn't have time for waiting till the screen shows 100%.
I'm not sure what effecting the battery but today I nearly wasn't using the phone at all and I have 80% right now , where when I'm going to school and from school listens to music via bluetooth headset and around the same time my battery looks like 34%.
I don't think that there is a need to buy a new battery as I will getting new Xperia T.
Edit: No tweaks. Minicm 7 2.2.0 and kerne; nAa 11.
happens to ne as well.

Hi, I'm having a problem regarding battery draining issue, no matter Eclair 2.1 or Froyo 2.2, I left my SGS fully charge 100% at 12am and find out it only left 75% at 6am. So you guys can imagine how suffer I am to survive using this phone especially on heavy use. But I really love this phone
The main culprit which I believe is the Display which consumes high power as you can see in my snapshot bellow
I would like to ask your favor to share what is your Display % and Do you have any battery draining problem?
You can find the % info as below
Settings>About Phone>Battery use>Display
Do you have any suggestion how to solve this? Or any recommended ROM that can fix it?
Terima kasih. Thank you. 谢谢. Obrigado. Gracias. Спасибо. Vielen Dank. Dank u. Shukran

More info:
**I've tried the batterystats.bin fix
**I've closed all background running programs
Currently I'm using i9000, Froyo 2.2 xxJPK, rooted, OCLF v2.1, standard TWLauncher
Have you tried turning off 3G and WiFi overnight?
I get the impression that "Display" actually covers everything other than Cell Standby, Wifi, and Phone Idle.
Use the test menu *#*#4636#*#* from the dialler to get more detailed battery history, especially check the CPU usage stats as a runaway process may be chewing through the battery.
I'm wondering if some one can help that will be great
look at the time and the battery percent and tell me is this normal

Did u charged the phone continuously for 3 hours?? Until the 100% battery icon came?
"Yes Iam a Gangnam Style Fan......
Actually who's not ...?"
yep
until it say that the battery is charged and i should disconnect the charger
@OP wipe battery stats from cwm and use your phone till it goes to complitely dry and switch off after that charge your phone to 100% continuously without break the charge even single min. till the notification shows.
And see the difference..

Hello All,
I am new to xda forum, this is my first thread. I am having a serious battery draining problem with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos (SM-N9208) running Android 6.0.1. My phone's Android OS is draining a lot of power during idle hours. After a full charge I put my phone into sleep mode closing every apps that can run in background as well as turning of WiFi, Bluetooth, Data Connection, NFC etc. But after around 4 hours when I turn the phone on my battery level dropped to 65% from 100%. From the battery usage screen I found that during this 4 hours Android OS has consumed 62% of the battery. I am totally surprised to see this. I have no game installed on my phone as well as I use a few basic apps like Facebook, Messenger etc. I have no idea what's going on with my phones battery in sleep mode. I have attached some screenshots from the battery usage screen which might help you to understand the issue. I am badly looking for a permanent solution to this problem since I can't go anywhere without a power bank with the phone to keep it running. Please help me out of this problem. Any kind of suggestions, tips or tricks are welcomed.
have you rooted your phone or is there a chance that it was already rooted by the seller? seems like a deep sleep problem to me.
So my settings app doesnt tell me what drains my battery in full. Neither does any other battery app like gsam.

As you can see my phone is at 93% but my data report in here shows only 1% missing per app there. It doesnt add up to a 7% loss. I havent restarted my phone since charge so my stats haven't reset. Any ideas? I feel like im getting worse battery life than before.
I'm on freedom OS 1.3

Since these are round to full percentages, it's most probably rounding error.
They never add up... For example I now have 55℅ battery left but the report adds up to only 27℅. I have yet to find a clear explanation about what these percentages actually represent.

I have a similar issue, I thought the battery was near it's end of life (2 years old) so I got a new one put it an I'm still having the issue. Something is causing alot of battery drain when Idle. If I go to battery in settings there aren't any apps acting up, it's the phone idle that's using the majority of the battery and it's not even lasting 24 hours with less than 30 min screen time. Not sure what to do tbh. I tried a hard reset too and no improvement.
Hi,
Im not expert at this , sorry if this not helpful but have you try background restriction. It located at battery setting

I got a new phone and charged the G8 to 45% then turned it off, when I woke up the next morning it was dead. There's a short to ground somewhere on one of the logic boards I'm going to try replacing the charge port logic board, the other one isn't worth replacing.
