It is expensive, but looks pretty nice. Has anyone gotten one who could comment on how they like it?

Hey kate3k,
I know your post is a bit old, but I recently a case from them. Yeah, a bit pricey, but totally worth it because i got to pick my favorite colors. Really good quality too. They don't use the cheap stuff they call "Leather"

I just bought a new case off of eBay, one that looks like the incipio feather case but a lot cheaper. It was $2 but it took 2 weeks to receive since it's from Hong Kong.
Quick review - it fits really nicely and the inside is smooth and even so i'm not too scared of it scratching the back cover (which btw is already pretty scratched). It has a rubbery coating which feels really nice and it doesn't bulk up the phone too much. Overall the fit and finish is great, definitely a steal at $2. I really like it and as you can see in the pics, it looks pretty good (sorry for the bad quality pics, I didnt have a camera nearby so I had to use my laptop's webcam)
What do you guys think?
Here's the link to the one i bought if anyone's interested:

Thats a bargain.
Might have to set up an ebay account finally just to get this
The white and black look looks really good. That's a deal.
Alright so after one day of use there's a problem : the case is a stain magnet. Seems like everything just rubs off onto it. And you can't clean it off. I guess I should've gotten a black one.

Does anyone have this case? Can't seem to find any real reviews online.
I'm looking for a close up pic or "actual" real life photo.
Thanks for any inputs =)

Not a popular case i see....=/
From what I can tell, it's still pretty new. Though I'm considering it myself. I'm really curious if it is just plastic or if it has a soft lining material to prevent scratches. Not knowing that is what has kept me from pulling the trigger.
Edit: Watched some videos of the iPhone version of the case. Looks like it is all polycarbonate. That's a no go for me, I'd like something soft around the Tab.
to be perfectly honest with you, i could probobly buy 2 cases better than that on ebay for the price of that one ($50.00 USD?!?!). Seriously, search it up. you wont be disappointed. my friend who works at a cell phone shop near my home has a scorch case, and its falling apart.
heres a couple i found.
with kickstand:

3.http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-Trident-A...ccessories&hash=item27bbe5ed3a#ht_2128wt_1025
The trident case is my personal favorite. its almost bulletproof. i have it on my galaxy vibrant and on my tablet.
all of the cases mentioned above costs either half, or less than half of the scorch case your looking at.
The incipio is too bulky for my liking. I don't need such superior case protection.
This one:

Looks pretty nice expect i wish it was offered in all blk so those ugly lines are less visible...
Might still try the scosche switchback if I find a good price on it.
I've had my i9020t since early January this year and initially I bought the best buy platinum case by seidio but I've always absolutely hated it. On previous phones I've been extremely happy with the Fishbone style cases (like this one) but I've never been able to find one. Has anyone else had any luck and if not does anyone know who the manufacturer is so I could perhaps request one? They've always been dirt cheap with good looks and pretty good protection.
i dont know if i've seen a fishbone case but this is my favorite case:

For 3 buckaroos you cant beat it. I've tried every case(literally) from amzer, casemate, trident, agies, tpu's of all sorts, knock offs, knock ons this is by far my favorite case. It looks great and is so thin. For clumsy people they might want to go for something more protective like the trident. Those are just to bulky for my taste. This case slides very nicely in and out of your pocket feels great in the hands. Try it out its only 3 mc chickens

Thanks man, I'll check it out!
~~EDIT~~
Which color do you have?
i've got red and black being they are my favorite color. This case made me love my phone again after using so many crappy cases.
Hi all,
I am new on xda dev in terms of posting, but I have been readings forums around for a while. I too am looking for a case for my nexus 7 in the UK and am disappointed by the current offering (I do realise the tablet is still pretty new and more cases will come in the future). I did come across one today and it actually doesn't look too bad, seeing it seems pretty thin and well, cheap, too. I am new, so I am not allowed to post links yet, but if you go on amazon UK and search for TeckNet Nexus 7, you will see it. It kinda looks like an Apple smart case (which would be perfect for the nexus, tbh)
does anyone happen to have it or want to share some opinion about it? For the 5 pounds, I give it a try. They do have them in different colours, too.
It's pretty much the same generic folding lid fake leather case a dozen other sellers are offering, good price though and it would do till something better comes along.

yeah, that's what I am thinking I know the fake leather blows and all, but oh well, I am carrying my nexus in one of those bags that came with leather shoes so it might be a nice step up
How's the case? I have been looking for a long time and there still doesn't seem to be anything perfect yet. At £6 this seems like a good stop gap. The only thing that is putting me off is the fact that it covers the bezel. Is this annoying when using the tablet?
Sorry mate, I ended up getting the LuvTab case (a pretty good one, btw), so can't tell you about this one.
In that case I have just put an order in. I will let you know what it's like when it arrives. Hopefully it will be as slim as it looks in the images.

Yeah, do post an impression on the case For 6 pounds you surely can't go wrong, if in real life it looks the way it does online! On the sidenote, have you considered this one?

For the price it doesn't look bad, it's thin and does not cover the bezel.
I'm thinking of grabbing this case. How bulky is it? Can someone post up any pics so i can see how it looks on the G2? Thanks in advance

Not much bulk at all compared to a few of the others I've tried. I was using the Ballistic case and switched to the Incipio Dual Pro. This feels much better in the had and is easier to get in and out of my pocket. At work right now so can't post any pics I'll try to post a couple when I get home.
I have the feather and dual pro case. I am impressed by the Incipio products. I've always been an otterbox fan, but I'm really impressed by the dual pro, feels great in your hand and not too bulky, just wish it had port covers.
I attached my pics. Love it. Best case imo.
Thanks guys. It looks really good & I'm seriously considering going with the white one. I just got my bodyguardz skin and am debating if i should return it for this case now. Decisions decisions lol
I like my cases being not slick or slippery. What is the texture like?

It feels like matte heaven! Not slick at all. I don't think it could feel any better.

Someone in the big thread got the white one. It stains easily. He contacted customer support and they basically shrugged him off. Told him he might be able to send it in for warranty.

It was hard to find and you will not like the price! - at least I didn't, I'm a cheap SOB.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incipio-LGE...or-Lgcase-G2-Verizon-lge215blk-/331047118761?
Shipping is free though and it did come pretty fast.
It's cheaper at shop BLT, item BTE5749.
Case thickness question
I like to holster my phones. I have the Verizon OEM holster but don't like the case. The feather around the G2 fits snugly into the holster but is too bare for me and I can't locate the Dual Pro in a retail store. Does anybody know if this is substantially thicker than the feather.

I have it and love it. I consider it the middle-ground between bulky and thin. Its not too bad. Its slick and feels nice in the hand. And offers great protection for the amount of bulk it does add.

Agreed. I could potentially see it slipping out of sweaty hands though. It's a tad slick but overall I love the case
Just got myself the Incipio Dual Pro (Verizon) after going commando for the first 4 days of my life with the G2. It just felt so delicate without a case, so I felt like I had to try something, even though I'm generally a no-case kind of guy.
Looks and feels really great, and really makes the phone feel a little more substantial and safe in the hand when you're picking it up and setting it down. I like that the outside of the shell has a little bit of slickness, but a little bit of grippiness too. It goes in and out of my pants pockets fairly easily, although the silicone top and bottom do provide a bit of resistance. I absolutely LOVE the way it covers the buttons on my Verizon version, and makes them feel so much better to find and touch.
As far as bulkiness, it makes the G2 a little thicker than I'd hoped, but that's the price I'll have to pay for having a better tactile feel in the hand, and a bit of security, especially from random bumps and bruises. Will it survive a fall? I'd say may I increased my chances of surviving a fall by 50%, but still don't have high hopes if I drop it on concrete or anything. There's just a lot of screen on the G2 to potentially not shatter it to death in the event of a fall.
I ordered it on Staples online for $22 shipped. Arrived in less than 2 days with their standing shipping method. I'm still considering picking up the Incipio Feather to see if it feels better to me, but I'm gonna ride with the Dual Pro for a while first.
I just switched from a ballistic to the dualpro and I'm loving it.
One question though, what screen protector are you guys using with it? Right now I'm using one of the cheap vzw ones but would love to find a tempered glass that fits with the case.
Thanks

I am looking into a Dualpro and would like to know if it fits well with the iLoome Screenmate. D800 if it matters...
Anyone use a wireless charger with it on? I have the feather and I am thinking of getting this next. The Droid branded wireless charger works just fine with feather left on.
I really like the feather, its the perfect minimal case, I have had it since day one. Recently I've dropped it three times, each time it saved it! Very impressed, but I'm worried I will run out of luck, so I am considering upgrading.
