Rom is running great. Fast and smooth. I did flash with Matrix 5.5 kernel though instead of the packaged kernel. Love the theme.

Its a very nice ROM. One bug is I can't get Google now to launch from the launch screen.
I have that same issue on another ROM roday . hope it gets corrected. Can't wait to see how this progresses.

AOKP JB-MR1 Unofficial Nightlies for the Nexus 4 (Mako)
What is it?
A lightly modded ROM with AOKP Nightly based on Google's Android OS 4.2.1 direct from source, compiled by myself and uploaded for your pleasure with some CM goodness baked in as well (Chronus, calculator
Unless noted otherwise, these are straight merged nightlies from AOKP's github.
What's the difference between a nightly, a milestone, and a PUB release?
A nightly is only the officially merged changes to AOKP, added whenever it passes review codes and tests, as the changes come. A Milestone release is whenever there are enough significant changes to the ROM to where the AOKP team decides it is time to officially publish it and showcase it, and a PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) release is from a member of Team AOKP that adds different changes that haven't officially been merged yet. While most of the time these changes are considered stable, they have not been officially checked off yet.
Why?
Why not? I started compiling them for myself and decided to share with whomever also wanted the latest and greatest, free of buzz words and hype.
NOTICE!
For anyone that uses their phone in spanish it is a reported bug about force closes. If you are experiencing this, you will need to factory reset, setup the phone in english, then change the language used to spanish. I apologize, this is nothing particular to my build, but to AOKP in general for the time being. Thanks for your patience!

you should cherry pick the kernel molesarecoming have over at the Q&A section. Color reproduction is AMAZING! I've been running his kernel with no problem and the colors are now on par with HOX.

Hi vonesch
I've been waiting for aokp for n4 to include a much needed cherry pick option to force the 3dot menu to be disabled for all apps and always show the menu on the bottom with the nav bar menu button. That would ensure the ability for one handed operation on such a big screen. Please look into and implement it if possible I miss that 1 feature if aokp I had for my sprint galaxy s3. Please let me know if it's possible.
Also are you guys considering adding option to hide nav bar on either just landscape/portrait? I know gm hide bar does that as a separate app, however, it doesn't let you pull it up like this rom can but for me I only want it to hide the bar in landscape when I'm playing movies or games and still be able to pull it up by sliding from the edge when I switch to portrait I always want them on since it's while you interact with apps and navigate and use it so often so it should always show for me thanks please add that on next release!

Flashing Instructions...
Once all of your Download is done, move all the zip you downloaded to your device's storage.
* Reboot into recovery
* Go to Wipe, select "Factory Reset"(dont forgot to wipe dalvik cache)
* press Install.
* Select "baked_n7000-ota-eng.root-xxxx", "gapps-jb-2012xxxx-signed.zip" and your other packages..
* Then, install.
* Once all the processes is done, reboot.
* Wait for a couple of minutes, go n make cup of coffee for yourself
* BAM! It's done! Enjoy the smoothness!

UPDATE: Halo is dead. Also TabletUI is impossible due to 4.4 code, and there is no PIE as of 2/23/2014. A lot of features are missing compared to 4.3 PA, so be advised, flash addicts.
Lol true but the ROM is still in beta. And I didn't knew he build one for us...my next project I am working on is omni ROM. It just sucks that Ubuntu does not run well on some APUs

Haha I've also been looking into setting up a build environment for Omni since cj360 has PA covered already, but it's a lot to learn for setting up the manifests and device trees. Great job on getting a working build BTW!
Yeah I have everything set up. I already I did a quick build which it runs like butter but radio is not working so I got to wait and see if I can fix the PA lightbulb app before I start again with omni ROM ...its just hard with my system right now as I had to buy a budget PC because so low life broke into my house a few days before the holidays

It's true he does have builds up, but I just flashed his and the screen doesn't work whatsoever. It showed the initial choose language screen but I couldn't tap anything. The power button was the only thing that worked.

AOSPA is still in beta they haven't added those features yet. Its kid of how The early CM11 nightlys were at first.

It's a bit too beta for a daily driver in my opinion. Maybe I'll try it again in a couple weeks.
Okay guys I fixed lightbulb app I got a new build which pretty much is stable. I'll will be uploading it tonight but it should be posted by tomorrow morning.

Well guys some of you have reported that once booted up the set up screen goes black if so just do a quick factory reset and its fixed .
