[Q] Note II sidebar on GNexus - Android Themes

Hi guys, i'm personalizing My homescreen using Nova Launcher, and I would put a sidebar like seen in Ubuntu for Android, do you know An app, widget or whatever you want that allows me to have that on My nova launcher? (forgive me if this isn't the right section )

Ps, forgive My English too, i'm italiano

Maybe you can try GYF side launcher.. You can find it in here..

Mmm i've already tried with it but after some issues like the impossibilitation of change folders icon, i've decide to looking for something to apply in nova. In any case, Thanks a bunch for your help

I was thinking.. Is There any app that allows you to "paste" An image on the display? In Sense that you put that image for example on the left-top of the desktop and when you slide to other launcher's "desktop windows" it follow you.. I wish i'd been Clear

sorry i wasn't more helpful
Isn't it even more of a waste of space to have both hardware and software buttons?
I know. I just wanna see how it would look for a bit I had it on my nexus s but the screen was smaller. And with my privacy screen protector I can't see the hard keys when they're off. And the mod kills the keylight so they stay off. I am just curious to see how it looks on this phone.

blinkfeed and launcher

is there a launcher that i can use that would let me keep using blinkfeed but also be able to get rid of the black dock bar at the bottom of the screen ? i just prefer the transparent look of a dock ,just feel the black bar makes the screen look smaller
i dont know if this is possible but thanks for taking the time to read my post
No there is not, there are however mods for a transparent bar if you're rooted

I have not figured this out just yet, although a nice alternative is to use a widget as a wallpaper and simply overlay them.

There is a thread about this already. You have enable widget overlap in Nova settings and the other thread said they used android photo widget and set it to 4x4 (I used the same stuff they did). Your grid has to be enabled to 4x4 as well in Nova settings. If I knew how to copy the link I would but honestly never tried. If I can get the link I'll attach it.

You also have to move nova to the system/app folder. Check this out

[Request] Droid Ultra circle widget/launcher

Hello, I have a request that might not be possible. I've tried every circle widget/launcher combo I can find but cannot find one that works fully. Most of the launchers work they just need to be resized for our resolution. However not a single one of the circle widgets work. They always say incompatible 3rd party launcher even tho it's a moto launcher. I'll upload the one I've used up until lollipop broke it and if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah my plan was to use that. However, when I tried it the battery % on it and the weather would not update properly. Nothing works quite like the original lol.

Have you tried Xwidget? There are many circle widgets (llok like Motorola Atria and other devices). They are all free.
Out of curiosity is this what you fine people are looking for?
Where did that come from?

The launcher that comes with the XT1575 is the Google Now Launcher. Hence the reason the circle widgets are incompatible. You would need to use the launcher the widget came with.
nope that is nova launcher and I'm pretty sure it would work with google now
Confirming that it works with stock Google Now launcher also just no default way to size it correctly....
I'm still assuming that it's the other one most people want
but anyways here is the link to the nexus 6 forum method

Thanks man.
Works great.
With the new Turbo 2 and Maxx2 coming out Friday, maybe we can get a direct port? They appear to have the widget in the pictures.

Add drop shadow to Icons on Home Screen.

I think you guys will find this one useful ...
I decided to make an App to easily add drop shadows to Home Screen icons (I personally wanted a similar effect to TouchWiz on Nova launcher).
Please feel free to download and offer your thoughts - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.quickdoc.shadowicon
Main features are:
1. Custom define your shadow settings
2. Icons work on any launcher (including default Android)
3. Once settings defined, simply press Create Icon to add it to your Home Screen
4. Support for icons from 3rd party Icon Packs
I quite like this ...Great Job. If I could try the full version .5 stars on your Job .Awesome

Full version? You mean the one that supports Icon Packs?
I really like it but it would make my life easier if you could allow one to select an image and open it through the app visa share option. Please consider implanting this.

I purchased the pro but soon discovered it only opens by default the designated icon in a pack for the app you choose. Selecting alternates from packs isn't an option.

I have been looking for something like this for ages....unfortunately it doesn't work on my Galaxy S6.
The app itself works fine only the rendered icon ends up on the homescreen without the shadow

Hey; Which launcher are you using? If it is the default launcher, it might not work...
