I have been privately theming roms for friends and family for about a year and a half now. I've decided that i should go public with it now, and what better way to do it than go to the most popular android forum around? All you have to do is give me a few colors you like, tell me what rom and device you are currently using and i will post a download link from my dropbox. (If you don't already have dropbox it is a wonderful thing! I recommend signing up.) Depending on the rom, amount of apps included in the rom and my schedule i should have each one done in about 2-3 days. So just post here with a link to the download the rom and your color choices!

yes i will send you the db link in a few days. and you should beable to flash it over your current rom, but in my opinion if you don't have a lot of stuff on your phone/tablet i is easier to wipe and flash(less bugs that way) but it should be fine. are you using the latest version of the rom?
Why wouldn't you just make a theme chooser theme and then everybody can utilize it?

Umm more roms have theme chooser than just theming one rom? Do your thing though, doesn't seem much going on here anyway.

Hey there devs,
I hope you're so kind to explain a total noob if and how it's possible to get the theme out of a ROM.
I do really like the Honeycomb Theme, but, as you know, the actual theme by ObessessionXYZ isn't going to be developed further. But there's also the "Simply Honey" ROM which comes with the Honeycomb theme.
So, my question is: How I can get the theme, so that I don't have to use the ROM (I tested it, and it's nice, but imho not the best). I would really appreciate if you could give me at least some guidelines how to make a theme-only zip.

You're right, I just had the previous version of your ROM. It didn't have the performance I expected, but I promise I will try the newest Version before just taking the theme.

What is Holo-Series?
Our goal here is to give the communinty as many different flavors as possible. We both think that google did a pretty damn good job with ICS with the images(Except the gray backgrounds and stock blue), its clean and simple and we would like to keep it clean and simple, we did change the status bar icons to give it a cleaner/different look but the rest would stay the same (just with different colors). Just type in Qasim Zia in the market and you will see all of them...

Just revert back to stock...reboot and then apply the theme and it should work...there are many ppl who have it working already including my own cousin...lol...n if it was u who left a one star den plz revise it after u have it working

Nice! quick question tho. Are these final releases or are they WIP? I only ask because the blue theme is beautiful, but not everything is blue throughout. Not rushing or bashing in any way of course.

Saurik, the long time developer of iPhone's jailbreak apps (Cydia, Winterboard etc) has released two apps today for Android systems, Cydia Substrate and Winterboard. Winterboard allows you to use ANY kind of theme (CM themes, Apex themes etc) on stock ROMs without having the required custom ROMs or Launchers for it. Just install Cydia Substrate, do what it says then install Winterboard, then you can install any themes, activate them, then just hot reboot then phone and voilá! It's a great thing IMO, very nice work from him.

Root access needed, and not every themes work yet, as they are still in beta phase.

I tried it and I'm absolutly not conviced by these 2 products.
I installed them as described by you and the author several times on a Stok ICS (because I think is that one wich need most theming help) and I experienced lots of FC, freezes and lot of strange behavior (like : re-asking for my Google ID logon).
I tried to use some CM10 themes for experiences but after to many problems I lost faith. So I gave up.
Anyway thanks for the head up.
i tried it too and it's not working for me, only a laggy device and i can't change the theme i don't know why

Maybe you'll have better luck with cm9 themes on stock ics rom than cm10 themes. Check out the mega cm9 theme chooser thread for the list of themes
Thoroughly enjoying my N6, and flashing different ROM's to see what all is out there. I know we are still pretty early in the game.......but the new builds are releasing pretty quickly.
There are so many already, and it doesn't seem that many give screenshots like I've always been familiar with using previous devices.
My question, do we have any ROM's that are inverted yet? I know a couple of ROM's at least have the settings menu in a gray, versus the bright white. Hoping someone makes it all black, including SMS.
Also, do we have inverted GApps yet either? I know there are certain apk developers that blackout individual apps like Facebook, etc.......just much easier to flash inverted GApps and finish out the rest of what you want individually.

I actually used TBO for blacked out social media apps before. Evidently they stopped updating their site, last I heard they ONLY updated builds on Twitter? I hate that if it is true, I'm not going to join Twitter for the soul purpose of following someone for updates.
I can't seem to locate their GApps downloads?

One by one, but you can use TWRP to flash multiple zips.

No that's correct, I couldn't fins the original OP with them so I posted that link because DU uses them with his ROM and I'm sure the gapps will be updated in that location.

You have to be running an IMG with xposed!
Step 1 install HK Theme manager from xposed then check it as on and reboot.
Step 2 install some themes from google play or search for some the or here
Step 3 Go into hk>press menu>settings>search options>check search for cm themes and /data
Then go back to the main menu and press menu>refresh then you should see it.
step 4 Pick the theme you downloaded Most of the cm 10.1 themes are working but there are some others out there to fit are screen better you just need to search around. If you find anything good post it here.
This is just an how too . I will work on a theme for just the turbo soon. But most of them are working just check the stuff you like themed.

Yeah working on that my self tonight. I like to get the red one working 100% looks so nice in the menu's just needs a tad bit of fixing up.
it is by far my favorite theme EVER. the dev does great work. the only thing id change if i could theme worth a crap on my mac would be using accent coloring of 6600FF
(i cant theme worth a crap on any platform, actually) i have had a little success in repacking/signing apks after editing.
It's for 4.4.4 or 5.1 ?

this version of BIG DX Red Jellybean Extreme works great. obviously, none work on lollipop. hope that helps.
edit: there was a change in formatting in cm11 and most wont work right. the amazing Renux Lust Red doesn't work at all. even old versions. I'm a fan of Big DX themes. the launcher theme (red jb extreme) works great on any android version I've tried. again, hope that helps man.

CF could you help me mod the red and black theme. I love the red and black but I really would like to change the red to gold. A black and gold theme would be killer! Also your 4.4 img would be best for this correct?

I can not give you much help with this as you know HK only works on 4.4.4 KK. There is no way I can go back to KK at this time. There is a ton of forums to mod HK themes just search around.
