...most dumb post I've ever seen in the last months.
I really trying to raise the user experience of users by spending a lot of time and effort in those mods....and I'm doing a lot of mods as you can see in my signature.
Well you can believe it or not, I dont just spent hours on those mods, more like days and weeks. On my leedroid tweaks project even months.
..and I'm doing this for fun and SHARE it with YOU for FREE!
So what the problem when I just put one rule up for DEVS and THEMERS to wait a t least on week before including it?
On that way I can ensure some activity in my threads and not to lose all users by day one, because all are kanging me on day two?

Dumb? Asking people to wait a week to get permission to use your work and you call me dumb? Yea request they ask your permission and give you credit for your hard work but wait a week! lol if you didnt need users why be a dev on here and make your rom public? you would just keep it for your own private consumption period. the mere fact it is here on xda means you crave that following that comes from users liking your work and thanking you for it! i like your work but wont kiss ass because i do! if you posted something i didnt like id tell you same way! you must have had people who didnt like your work but you didnt stop all dev cause of it did you? we are adults in here and this childish attitude is not acceptable.

I'm seen some rocking developers from Malaysia. One from selangor I think doing htc evo 3d custom sense roms, another from sarawak doing htc legend custom aokp roms. Well I just steal their wotk and put it in my phone and presd the thankd button

Samsung Galaxy Mini - Bricked - Help

I have a Samsung Galazy Mini and i tried upgrading the firmware using Samsung Kies.
Something went wrong and now its bricked.
(By something i mean Kies kept giving me errors, and got sick of it and "tripped" over the usb cable pulling it out of my phone while i had the android construction worker, with downloading underneath, on the screen)
It is not detected by the PC, phone wont turn on, hard reset buttons wont work.
Phone was not rooted and odin was not used.
Also holding up + down volume + big rectangle home button + power button, does not work.
Phone is completely unresponsive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Try this : remove battery,press volume up + power + home button while battery is out,then while keeping these button pressed insert the battery and should turn on in download mode,you can flash a firmware. If not workimg you can try a USB JIG

You know, sometimes ARMv6 is better than ARMv7, because they're cheap.
BTW, i think the brick are caused by both you (OP) and Kies. You'll need to take it to SSC (Samsung Service Center).

No matter what went down and no matter where your head is at at the moment, all I'll say is this: your work is awesome.
The bottom line is...what you have done for the gear...no one has done for the gear...and its not even close by a long shot. Which yeah, is really saying something because despite the occasional moron or 3, there are obviously some pretty damned amazing people here contributing to this community.
In my mind if this turns into nothing more than a donation thread for the remaining reslistically useful life span of the gear, be it 6 months or 66 months, then f0mey, you've earned it. Well anyway, here's mine:

I remember reading not too long ago that you were in between jobs, so let me suggest that one of the first things you do at that site is to make it easy to donate to you in support of your work.
I always thought it was pretty cool that this guy basically made a career of being unemployed:

F0mey stop having a tantrum, this site is the place to carry on with your Rom not a private site of your own, at least here there is no chance of dodgy software and no not referring to yours however its better to keep all roms on XDA because unscrupulous software writers could do so much damage with spyware and stealing passwords, if a writer did this here they are shutdown right away, on a private site they just keep pumping out dangerous software.
Not everyone is an expert and even myself when I first installed the Rom struggled with the instructions and setout, it can be something as simple as a misdirected direction in flashing for me now I have flashed 100s of times if not 1000s from my S1, S2, S3, S4 you need to take a leaf out of the other designers book on here and cut the sarcasm, if you dont want to respond let someone else do it for you, this site is about sharing ideas and developing software, and of course a bit of coin in the pocket for the developers who are any good.
Good luck with the future ps I have just come back from 3 weeks in Brisbane and intend to go back to WA next year

Sadly it has happened before, with capable devs leaving xda and setting up their own websites.
It just takes a couple of really nasty people to upset the peace of mind of a dev. In Pauly's case an extremely talented mind. They in no way represent the majority of people on here.
I have now bookmarked his new site and will continue to follow him. If I was Samsung I would hire him immediately (take notice Samsung).
For those who caused this upset, and unrepentantly insist that they were right - shame on you, you have spoilt things for many xda followers.

Tantrum ? Psh, Im not expecting everyone to be experts.. Although I do expect them to read, especially if I spoon feed the information to them on the original post.
Its easy to stand on the side lines and say "whats the big deal, who cares if people ask for help".. you try reading through all those pages every morning just because someone is to lazy to read the original post of a thread. 60% of the pages in that thread were about bull**** "bugs" which were reported over & over & over again.. Eg. "bluetooth tethering doesnt work".
Whats the point of a development thread if there is no development talk going on ? You dont need to read it, the next guy doesnt either.. although its my job to, I have to verify theirs no bugs on the rom, I have to keep track of the thread.
I refuse to do it anymore, if people cant follow some simple requests I made.. why should I care ? I'm sorry others have to suffer, There are some great supporters & users out there.
It is what it is I will continue to develop, I will continue to support. At least this way I can manage the content.

Petition to sony regarding information and ETA for 4.3

Guys I created a petition please extend your support whether you guys think it will succeed or not we can give it a try.

Well I dont mind acting like a child if we rewind and see X10 got 2.3.7(Gingerbread) only by petition. So I think positively and people do support me for what I am doing..

A delay should come with a probable ETA of the FW or even just a notice. At least this is what a professional should do, in my opinion.

No freaking way it's gonna work or help us in any way. It can only help Sony - they can wipe their arses with it if they'd ever wanted to print it. Why?
I'm a happy Sony Ericcson/Sony smartphone user since 11/2010. I was ALWAYS happy with their update policy and I'd like to thank them AS MUCH AS I CAN that Xperia PLAY didn't get 4.0. Again, why? Because it's better to read and listen for all those complains about the update rather than for whining about the games that were incompatible. I don't tell you are but all those people who complain have to be really silly but well, that's not my business. Sony does what they want to do and none of these petitions had helped anytime.
I'm using leaked 4.3 for my Xperia T and I can surely tell - it's f***ing worth waiting. You, dear Xperia SP user can be sure, you get 4.4, we XT/XTX/XV/XTL/XVL (etc) users can't so please stop complaining and think abut this - we will probably be with 4.3 forever and you will only lick 4.3 because you'll get even better 4.4 in no time. You should be happy, not frustrated.

Well I didn't want to be rude but this is pure truth. After seeing sooo many petitions about many different things connected to Sony and Xperia devices I can clearly say that even this time it still won't work.

I expected this comments somewhere

What a waste of time and effort.
There are only two reliable ETAs for software:
1) Don't state an ETA
2) Announce an ETA in the far future (and propably still miss the deadline) and hold the Update until the apropriate time has arrived

Leave them to sort it out.
The Z 4.3 came quick and is buggy.
So many things missing too like transparent nav bar.
