PACman vs. JELLYBAM - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi!
I've got some questions about these roms
[ROM][19/1/13][4.1.2]Unofficial PACman v19.3.0 All-in-One | Stable & Smooth |
[ROM 4.1.2 - 4.2.1] JELLYBAM - v4.1.0 [17/01] [Mint] [PA.AOKP.CM10]
1. What is the difference between them
2. Which is better
3. Which is more often updated
Cheers

Friends, please

To my knowledge both are based on cyanogen mod, so in terms of updating it depends when CM update.
Battery depends on your usage as well. I'm running this kernel as its compatible
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031064
And over 12 hours of use with SMS, music and an active WiFi connection it went down to 69% which I was happy with

very nice! ty!
Somewhat misleading. I think JellyBam and MIUI are JB not ICS. Sorry but I'm confused of what you mean by 'ICS based' here.
Are you sure that jellybam 3.1.0 rom is for new bootloader?
sorry but jellybam 3.1.0 is for Galaxy S II and is JB not ICS :good:
Thanks,
the list and the updates are very welcome. i would also note that the AIO tool kit is at version 2. .. i think.
i'll drop in here every now and again to see whats new. so i think this is a useful post.
Thanks Rockyy

LG Official ICS V30A (7-DEC-12)

JB:

This
Nice idea, can be very useful to collect the list on one place to show all the options
Hm Jellybam.. something went wrong there
about the title... it was meant because all roms are based on V30A release.. and thats ICS. But i updated the title for JB - i guess a list for GB isn't necessary becase most of the roms are also not supported anymore.
hope its better right now
Many thanks!!!

Poll For Best ICS OR JB Roms.

Hi Guys,
I thought to bring a poll for best ICS or JB based rom, with user opinion.
[ROM] DjangoManouche X 1.1 - 2 KingOfBirds Kernels rebuilded on 30a sources
[ROM] 4.1.2 - 4.2] JELLYBAM - v3.2.0
[ROM] [20121224] CM10 and CM10.1 on Unlocked ICS Bootloader
[ROM] [JB] MIUIv4 2.11.30 & 2.10.26
[ROM] [JB] MIUIv4 for Unlocked ICS bootloader [Christmas edition]
[ROM] TG P990 ICS V30A - Stable - Rom and Advanced Kernel
[ROM] Official CM10
some roms are missing? ghostrider, flex-icer, opti-ics, remics
That's right. Some roms like Opti-ICS and Remics are missing on this list.
Anyway, my vote for DjangoManouche X 1.1.
nice thx, i tjhink djmango mouch is good,
but can any one help me
what is battery life comparted to cm7?
on both ics or cm10? i want ics but need to know if battery is not worse then on cm7, (beacause its already ****)
django manouche x1.1 the best!
Django X1.1 for me.
Very smooth, don't know if it's the best for battery but if the battery is ok for 1 day, it's good enough for me.
Best ROM threads, with a poll or not are not allowed. There is no such thing as a best ROM as it's very subjective and normally just ends in drama with lots of people disagreeing.
Please no more of these threads.
Thanks

After your successful rooting, you can try this ROMs :good:
Team Venom presents: ViperVIVO 2.5.3 | Sense 4.5 | 4.0.4 | Smooth | OTA
Nik_Project_X_Rebirth v3.0
Both are Stable and Smooth Working !! :fingers-crossed:
HTC Incredible S | HBOOT BlackRose 2.03 S-OFF | Kernel Redux 0.8 | Radio 20.76.30.0835U_3831.19.00.19 | Recovery 4EXT Touch 1.0.0.5 RC9 | ROM - ViperVIVO |
for 4.1 it is Lacoste.. for 4.2 it is Lacoste, PACman and dla's
I would say the CyanVivo 10.1 for Android 4.2. It was repo synced later than dla's Cm10.1 so it has a few newer things than dla's CM10.1 wudnt have. It also has better battery in my opinion. PACman can be a little unstable at times and Lacoste will probably be stopped because dla has left the IncS community after getting new phone and Lacoste was based on dla's CM10.1 so basically, no more CM10.1 from dla = no more lacoste
For CM10, you could choose CyanVivoX or dla's CM10. No real difference here.

the best rom??

[sorry for my english]
I wanted to know what is the best rom of the moment?
I do not do difference between GB, ICS, JB..!
I only need these requirements:
-stable
-fluid
-good battery drain
-Italian language
What do you recommend?
[currently i use IZS 1.1]
I use Mackay Rom/Kernel (JB-4.2.2)
Others Custom Roms for OB
- CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2.2)
or 10.0 (4.2.1)-stable
- PACman Rom (4.2.2)
- AvatarRom (4.2.2)
- JellyBam (4.2.2)
- Marvel V.11 (ICS)
- IZS 1.1 (ICS)
I only use Mackay Rom/Kernel which seems the best rom JB 4.2.2 for LG-P970.
No stable 4.2.2 Roms.
Envoyé depuis mon LG-P970
JB is not stable.
The only really stable roms i can advise are:
Stock ICS or GB.
Or a modded version of GB / ICS Like IZS you are using at the moment or Zeus. But there are plenty other custom roms based on gb/ics you might like.
Read the threads, if there is a rom that looks promising, just give it a try.

I'd say stock Gingerbread.
- ICS-based roms usually have a high battery drain (the best for me are IZS and stock ICS if you modify it);
- JB-based roms too (Mackay rom), but better than ICS-roms.
- But Gingerbread-based roms, they definitely, have the best battery drain, and the camera works better.
About your other requirements, I think that any of them could meet them.

ROM: HarshJelly ROM v5.0 (Based on Stock 4.1.2)
Kernel: CocoreE-8.6 (Stable)
S4 X-Theme Engine
Greenify Beta Release v2.1
Games Run extremely smooth with Cocore E & HarshJelly ROM.
Amazing Battery life..>1day
