Anyone know how to change the font on CM10.1? please .
You need bold and regular variant of same font, simple rename won't work because font files have special tags inside. Put them properly named in/system/media/fonts
Reading should have solved this problem too...

Well, maybe ine the metamorph thread by djengizz or i think that's his name..and if someone has made one, you might find it there. But if someone hasn't made one, you can always install a font thru terminal or figure out how to make a metamorph and then make the metamorph of the font you want. What font are you looking for anyway?
Add this to your .thm file along with a fonts folder with the new fonts inside...
Code:
fonts.cpy
/system/fonts/
I just wondering how to add more font as we can change in setting, i tried copied the font using root exp with R/W permission to system/font but not showing on the list thx

Here is how I changed my font from stock to Roboto
1. Root your device
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454112
2. download your Font onto your tab
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/design/Roboto_Hinted_20111129.zip (roboto - ics 4.0 font)
3. install any font changer app, run, select font, BOOM delicious new font appears
Roboto is amazing. Love this font. I use it in all my apps now. Looks 100% better on 99% of interfaces (for some reason looks a bit squished in gmail)
does anyone know how to change the font of the clock in the status bar? I hate the font that Samsung is using.

if you change trough update.zip i think (CMIIW) thats dangerous but if you know that samsung default has font changer in setting but the one i dont understand is how to add more cause i had copy and paste into system/font with root exp but no luck and the font not showing on list
Just a quick update on what I have recently found is the best solution to getting Roboto on this device.
Don't use a font changing app like Font Changer or Font Installer, etc. Specifically those two don't overwrite the default fonts correctly & that's why you will see weird looking fonts sometimes (gmail app for example).
Best & Easiest Solution (requires root):
1. Download this rar file.
2. Extract the three .ttf files and copy over to your device.
3. Copy them to the system\fonts and overwrite the originals (I will give you a link to the originals).
4. If you want to go back to stock, download this file and do steps 2 & 3 again.
Anyone tried this on ICS? I did it but saw zero change

I have searched and posted on the thread where I found fonts, but no reply. So unfortunately I have to start a new thread for this.
I have found jellybean fonts on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1611545. So plz tell how to use them. And also can I use them in any rom. And plz if someone reply to this, reply in some DETAIL.
No one can help
You can actually rename the font (in ttf format) into the system font's name (in /system/fonts) and replace it with the right permissions...or replace the font files (rename it first of course) in a working cwm font zip with yours and flash it (safer and better method)...
Fonts
You can install it as a normal app and choose as default rom via Settings>Display>Font
you can use search to look for fonts

so the thread link which i have given, i can download jb fonts and rename it and replace in the rom right. can it be done with any .ttf font file. But one confusion , my present have 13 font files but jb fonts file have only 12 so can i replace 12 and delete the rest.
Just replace the ones that can be replaced...leave the one that has no replacement there......this can be done with any ttf file...
This font comes from the Amazon Kindle Oasis and I am using this font on my phone as i find it easier to read than Roboto.
It comes in Regular, Bold, Italic and Italic Bold. Since it was a bit too large for my taste i had to set the display setting to Small fonts which you can see in the screenshot.
Enjoy!
Hi there, is this working on LOS 14.1?

It is meant to be flashed on a rooted device.
I am new to XDA and this is my first MOD for Android 4.0+
I am sure you guys have heard about custom fonts fonts for ur device
but this is somewhat different from that.. it changes ur lockscreen clock fonts and not the other fonts..
so u guys can add more personality to ur ROMS..
Screenshots will tell u what i mean ....
i use the method of changing the fonts AndroidClock.ttf , AndroidClock_Solid.ttf , AndroidClock_Highlight.ttf
to my custom fonts and it is done....
Simply Flash the ZIP file in ur favourite recovery and enjoy ...
Hatsune Miku Wallpaper form my screenshots : (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/49/30/db/4930db03e42f7e130a8b427e6f3d4c65.jpg)

first I flashed my font file that I have attached on the post.
Then I flashed your lockscreen file.
It didnt work.
can you try flashing my font file and experience the problem yourself.
You can always flash the stoick font to revert.
I placed my font in your zip after changing their original name to the one in your zip.
sorry man..
