Y que tal el funcionamiento general? Mediante que proceso lo actualizaste? Agradecería que dejarás datos de baseband, ril y además del país donde estas y si sabes las frecuencias de bandas que maneja tu operador.

Sorry, a wrong of a noob, thanks for the help, this is not a problem of a bunch of People there are a big number of users of this version of the mobile, but there are not yet somebody that be able to programing for do a version based in v20a because i dont believe that Lg is thinking in update p990h to v30.

What about stability and battery usage? Mi battery is very bad and the phone overheats in camera zone, i'm using cm7 but is the same thing with stock

I don't think the problem is LG but Claro (I think most LA P990Hs are from Claro). They did a ****ty ROM in Brazil, it was so bad I couldn't stand it for even a month. Installed CM7 after 2 weeks....
I'm currently using stock v30A (EU_OPEN) and don't have much problems. My only problem with it is that it's a bit lagging and slow sometimes. I don't know how can LG screw up so much with it's own hardware.
I'm looking eager for CM10.1 by arcee.

That is interesting, How did you install? Installed first the rom and after the baseband? The rom is paranoid for old or new bootloader

Whats the best baseband/ril for telcel in Mexico?
I got paradroid on the old bootloader but i loose signal randomly (that happen even when i was on stock GB)
Battery life its terrible; half of what used to be on stock GB... well i´m not to worried cause i have only one more month of my contract till i got a new phone.

PROS:
NO callbug
one app here and there... (quickmemo and others)
CONS:
S()&*^%^hitty battery draining
V30A its a lot laggy than V30B ( at least for me)

I was on cm10 and jump to v30b because of the callbug... from what i know they fixed it weeks ago... i am just waiting for a free time
to go back to the penguins work...

as soon as i saw your answer i jumped back to CM10.1 and its nicer than CM10, a LOT of good new features, pure and clear!
I'll try it for a while, to see if it works for me (no call bug) , just one bug for now: keyboard hides when i type a single key, no matter what i am doing ( texting, entering new contacts, or entering wifi passwords, I.E. ) reebooting fixes it temporarily.
If any nows how to fix it, feel free to point me in the right direction, big TANKS in advance to all.

Well, there's a new root method making the rounds so I think we'll se a way to get it done in the next few days.
Now, I've been trying the rom for several hours and I can say that the OS feels very smooth and stable. I haven't had any problems with ram so far (which I did have with redy's rom).

My friend used the Official LG Update Method (B2C) this afternoon, and now he has 2.3.4 on his OB. Try again...

Yup, but just a little bit. The most interesting part I found when comparing this against the euro ones is that the ram is not being eaten away. Dunno why but the versions I've tried were always laggy after some use.
The only bad thing is that we can't root yet...
The stock browser is gone after upgrading. Did it happened to someone else?

hi all. on this day was using my Motorola when the battery suddenly jump from 30% to 0% and immediately went out, when I try to re start a question mark appears in the battery icon. I've been reviewing and other functions such as wifi, camera, bluetooth, gps, etc. all work well

Did you try from recovery?
Yes, I tried, but I also showed problems with the battery.
leave it off overnight and today is working properly.
however the fact that the battery is not removable sometimes gives problems.

Lo hubieras dicho antes, está mañana estaba funcionando, pero después de un momento me siguió molestando. Creo que es problema con el hardware
Como se puede ver en las fotos, muestra estadísticas bastante interesantes.
Al menos ahora me reconoce la batería con esto ya puedo hacerle un recovery, si con esto no sale puedo descartar de que se trate de problemas de software.

I feel sorry for the Spanish
just fix the problem,
the problem was that the battery was out of calibration, calibrate it I had to install a new rom on the phone.
I think the question mark came when the battery got wet
when the battery is dry, was uncalibrated, and therefore showed the incorrect loading
is also possible to calibrate the battery as root,

There's no such a thing as battery calibration by software on Android.
That trick of deleting batterystats.bin (that requires root) was debunked by an Android engineer a long time ago.
That file only stores the statistics that you see on Settings.

The option to calibrate the battery deleting files I'm not sure it will work because I have not proven that.
But the fact is that when I started the new ROM the problem had been solved, and that is a reality

I remember the first GB releases for Galaxy Ace 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 they were fullpackage (when you extracted the fw zip you got this files, then next fw were onepackage, you only got a single file to flash via Odin
E.g. S5830XXKPH (Russia) is a fullpackage with APBOOT, CSC, CODE and MODEM files... but I think their didn't could be separated only that before fw were full or one package, now a days they are one package because Ace is updated to GB as default
...KTE (Germany) and KPN (Spain) they are a fullpackage too, If I remember right

I think it is because S5830I/C/M has got GB by default, not need a full package as S5830 which began with Froyo (2.1)
I even figured out how to manual and created a tutorial to help those who want to do.
