You can try link2SD app from playstore and link all your apps and their dalvik cache to sd card.
you need to have ext3 or ext4 partition on SD card though.
enjoy

You can try Cronmod script or other App2Sd scripts.
They work
if they don't work then you must ask in the script thread and they will help resolve your problem
but you must correctly tell them your problem which you are facing.

If you have an SD-EXT Partition (usually EXT3 or EXT4 , check if your ROM supports EXT4) , use CronMod INT2EXT-EXT4 if you create EXT4 partition and CronMOD INT2EXT if you create EXT3 sd-ext partition.

Ask your developer or see in the ROM details if it supports, most of the ROMS do, but EXT3 is good enough as well What really matters is the class of your card for example a class 10 card will perform much better than a class 4 and class 6 and so on

SD-EXT

I am looking forward to make a partition of my SD Card to allow easier installation of apps.
I have a 16GB Micro-SD Card and i'm looking forward to make a 4GB Partition.
I've heard of amarullz script and I definitely want to use it.
I searched XDA Alot, and i found out that there are different partition types. So if someone could kindly answer these questions, It would be great:
1) Can you give me a simple and efficient guide on how to partition using CWM, or anything else?
2) What partition type should i use.
3) Does Amarullz script need to be configured or it's the simple flashing.
4) Is there any way to automatically move apps to sd-ext without apps like S2E. I think the scripts do that but i'm not sure.
Thanks.

1 no, use search and check the stickies. Cwm and partition guides are all over the place. Reading several guides to do it will help you in case something doesn't go as planned.
2 depends. Stock roms work better with fat32 and ext2 partitions. Custom roms work good with any ext format partition. Cwm creates ext3 format partitions, for other formats use another partitioning tool (minitool partition wizard).
3 just flash it and reboot twice. It needs a kernel that supports /init.d, which most custom roms have, and stock roms can be flashed with cf-root to enable /init.d.
4 yeah, the scripts do it. There are several, amarullz is one, there's also int2ext++ and darktremors (this one requires some user input though). Look them up, make your call.

oK..
Any link to a simple and efficient guide on partitioning??
Just a tip. Never go beyond 1GB SD-ext size. You'll just wait it coz app size are about 20-30 mb (the bigger ones) and you'll not be installing that much on your phone.
About partitioning you can just do it via CWM recovery.

Okk..
I just wanted to install over 10 pages of apps.
I heard partitioning through CWM makes an ext3 partition, and ext3 partitions are not supported.
One question: I'm following this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476121
If i use minitool partition wizard and follow the instructions there. will amarullz script work?
And will it work on all roms like cm7, cm9 and stock????
Thanks.
Ext4 has been said around as unstable. *need to research more on this one*
Yes, CWM makes ext3 partition.
If you're using CM7 based ROM I'd suggest using S2E. Supports ext3, no errors whatsoever, 1GB is more than enough for over 100 apps, and make sure the SD Card is class 6 or higher, otherwise you might face performance issues. It's just install, tick and forget. Unlimited *theoretically* apps can be installed then
I do not have any idea on Amarulzz script though,
This Page might help
So what's the best partition??
If i follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/SD_card_partitioning
Will it succesfully get me the result?

Yes that's a good guide.
Ok. Great.
Final Question: What Partition type should i use? Ext2, Ext3 or Fat32??
It should work good with amarullz script and with stock and cm7 roms...
Damn. I try deleting partition through minitool and after that my sd card isn't recognized, it says damaged.
though i fixed it with a format. :/

Okk. I've finished the first step according to the guide.
Well. According to the guide "Step 2". and created the fat32 primary partition. Now on step 3 i'm kind of clueless. coz i can't click create new partition as it is greyed out.
I think i'm just gonna use CWM.
What's the procedure to use CWM, to partition for 4gb?? and then use amarullz??

[Q] Error Amarullz Script on CM 10.1

I have tried Amarullz Script on my CM 10.1, but it's always unsuccessful. I mean, Google Apps always force close, Trebuchet always force close too even the size of Internal Memory had been changed successfull. I flashed amarullz after fresh flashing the ROM (I did not setup anything at all). So it will useless when Trebuchet and Gapps always force close.
I tried Amarullz on ChocoBread 3.2 Final Release. It worked great even I have did setup some settings before..
Please tell me if you have successful story of implementing Amarullz on CM 10.1 on Galaxy Mini. Which amarullz do you use, or you may have best suggestion. I would like to move from Link2SD.

I'm using CM10.1 with ext4 partition (1.5gb) and 1.2gb is filled up, yet the phone is super smooth
I'd always get insufficient internal memory while using link2sd..

Yup.. u must make sure u don't have ANY such scripts. Also, it's better to format the sd card and repartition it. Partition the sd card to fat32 first and then ext4 (both must be primary).
Detailed steps are provided in the respective thread about int2ext scripts.
If any problem i will try to help.

i'm using just "int2ext".. i needed more internal space.. so..
int2ext+ uses phone's internal memory to save the /data/data to make the phone respond much faster whereas in int2ext everything is moved to the ext4 partition of the sd card. int2ext slightly compromises on speed. But if u have class 6 SD card, then there won't be any issues.
In int2ext+ you will have to limit the size of your ext partition to about 1gb maximum(As far as i know).

well let's start again! you need to create an ext partition, use mini partition tools, here it is a tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2142844, until point 11!... avoid the rest of them and finally install the rom following the instructions
Edit: the rom is using the int2ext script, so right "/data" partition is symlinked to your sd-ext partition, so maybe it is the problem

if i didt understand wrong, this methot moves the flashed roms. the rom i ask about flash directly sd (i think). because i couldn open the phone without partion. when i look memory i see the created part as phone memory. i couldnt understand about it. should i use link2sd in this case. if i do link2sd steps ,will the problems end?

According what you said the script is working, so Link2sd is NOT neccesary.
Int2ext increase de internal memory, this script mount your sd-ext partiotin and link it with /data partition, so if you created a 512mb ext partition, you should see about 5120mb as internal memory.
The rom is under construction, you can also try to start again as I said you following all the steps
as you said i have same internal memory.
i ll follow all steps . should i create ex4 or ext2. I read ext4 is better for class10. and one more question will bugs end after this

If you have a class 6 or 10 sdcard make a ext4 partition, if not you can also use an ext4 partition but it will do a little slower your rom.
I can't guarantee that everything will work well, but It should, note that the rom as I said you before, is under construction so It've several bugs, you can try another rom CM10 by Mardon, Oldroid or Bieltv3 e.g. or a Stock based rom
I like this rom s wiev. I havent use ext portion and I want to learn .also I didn't see any bad thing about it.
When I see bugs I think I have made a mistake. Now I know what should I do. If won't work I'll try another.
You are very patient. Thanks alot.

ext format is faster and more stable than fat32
Ya, I started using it on my lg l3 before I used SDMerge.
I was having issues with link2sd not recognizing my ext partition so I used fat 32 for both partitions instead n it worked fine
Also did the same on an Alcatel OT 918 without a problem

But wat xactly does int2ext do? Is it lyk link2sd which creates a link to the partition? Or sdmerge which merges the internal mem to the system mem?

Int2ext mount your sd-ext partition to /data, so you get your sd-ext partition size as internal memory xDDDD
Look at official thread
You only need init.d folder, and It works in Stock and Custom roms

Then I installed link2sd n it allowed mo app to b linked to SD , but after a while the sys mem still got low because some part of an app was still stored in the says mem.
So I needed an Incs in sys mem so that I don't hv to link or move anything to SD, n that's wea sdmerge helpd me

The apps are installed in /data, not in /system... (not system apps)
You can wipe data partition to clean the partition and then restore the apps you want using TB (e.g.) only SYSTEM APPs are installed in /system, i.e. the apps which the rom contains, not the apps you install from market, files.apk... so
You need to be root, mount /system partition as R/W and set the permissions to install an app in /system, I mean your internal usable memory by default is /data partition xDDDD
Hmmm
So, not even a tiny bit of th app will b stored on sys? all will b on th ext partition??...I'm a bit skeptical ;D ;D but I'll take ur word for it n gv it a go

mmm... well int2ext is an universal script so It may work in your rom
I posted the official thread here (in this thread) look at this, but It's really simple to install
Thanks to ANYONE that answered my question After all of this discussion I think I'll patch my kernel in order to use a ext4 partiton as internal memory with a 2gb partition so bye bye to memory problem and maybe get a little boost in terms of performance with 180mb of swap memory. What do you think about?
Int2ext script requires some memory in /data to work and you can get only about 512mb of partition because of this requirement, am I right?

I don't like to use swap partition, for me It isn't neccessary, swap can ruin your sdcard but yeah you can increase a little bit your performance, so you choose
And about int2ext, you can create a sd-ext partition in ext4 format with XGb/Mb you want if you create an ext4 partition with 1 GB you'll have almost a Gb mounted to /data so your internal memory will be almost 1Gb size, In my opinion it's more than enough xDDD but 512Mb isn't the limit and It doesn't requires nothing, only init.d folder (all custom roms have this folder) and to flash the script

You should mount /system from CWM before you install CronMod. CronMod mounts the ext partition of your SD Card as the new /data moving all the original /data files in there. Now certain applications like Google Play, Google Setting, etc needs to be in the internal memory to work properly. Otherwise they will give forced closes. With CronMod, you will not be able to move any apps to internal memory as your new internal memory is the ext partition of your SD Card. While using CronMod make sure to install only the necessary apps as installing more and more apps will make your phone more laggier. Also the maximum size of the ext partition should be 1 GB. Hope I Helped

hello,I'm quite new here, but I've tried partitioning SD fro my galaxy Ace in the past, and it did not work kind of well.My question is,what should I really mount when I'm flashin int2ext+?I've tried googling, but all the forums have been giving me different answers,so could anyone please help me figure out the "REAL" things to mount?because I'm quite confused as what to mount.Furthermore, after I flashed int2ext+,my phone became quite laggy, and my apps sometimes are not responding..So,any help/insight on that is greatly appreciated!

Hi sorry for the late reply.I'm using Touchwiz Revolutionized 5.0-V4.0 [FINAL],and it seems to work fine, with cronmod's int2ext+,but the occassional lag still happens, sometimes unbearable..maybe I'll try another ROM later

Since the original /data partition is moved into the ext partition of the SD Card and the SD Card R/W speed is less than internal memory R/W speed, yes, it will lag. You can control this to a certain extent by using Class 8 or above SD Card and only installing the necessary apps. Don't forget more apps you install to ext partition, more laggier your phone becomes

There is a way to avoid lags (but with Class 8 or above) and that is RAM swap...on Play store there are great apps for this. Just type "Ram swap".

The main problem while using swap is that it degrades your SD Card's life. So use it at your own risk. Hope I Helped
