I don't have an TX myself, but if its roms and firmwares are not compatible with T or V, it deserves its own place.

search in the all in one thread, in the Q&A section. Follow the instructions to downgrade to .305, root, install cmw for locked bootloaders, upgrade back to .212 with keeping root.

This is a question. It should be in the Q&A thread.
But the answer is no, people have problems (even though the phone often boots) if they flash a T on a TX and vice versa
I've flashed tx 197 firmware system partition to my t.
There is no problem, unless you flash kernel too.

Thread moved. As Greg said, questions belong in the Q&A section.

Just try it and see....some people have reported problems, but you can always flash back if there is.
O I see, actually I haven't buy a tx, but I really want to buy it after I back to Hk in Christmas, but flashing Rom is one of the point that I consider most as I am using defy not and the official update are only to 2.2 while cm are already4.1 now

You can do this.
OR a much easier method is to Unlock the Bootloader and use DoomLord's method with his kernel. I used the method in Post #3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2129121
He said without unlocking the bootloader

What?
Is your bootloader unlocked or locked?
I'm not sure bootloader is unlocked or locked, I dont want to unlock if it is locked, is there a way to root without unlocking bootloader?
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
If you are unsure them it is locked, because you have to unlock it yourself.
Yes you can root without unlocking, follow the instructions I gave above

Yiou are kidding right....did you do any reading...
Please read the all in one thread. Its the first thread in the Q&A section. It gives all the info you need on unlocking our bootloader.
But first,
goto the dialer and press
*#*#7378423#*#*
goto service info/configuration
If the bottom line says
bootloader unlocked allowed: No
You cannot currently unlock your bootloader by any known means
If it says
bootloader unlock allowed :Yes
Then read the all in one thread and follow the instructions
It says bootloader unlock yes, I tried doing I couldn't do it
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
You are not following the instructions properly then, and unless you give more details in how and at what step it fails I can't be of much more use

Hi everyone, please I really need help on how to root xperia t, I was using Samsung galaxy s2 and rooting it was so easy but xperia t is a Little bit confusing for me. I am a novice with sony xperia t. I have already unlocked the bootloader, but for rooting, I need a video tutorial or step by step manual on how to do this, because I need to do it. I have so many programs that require root Access, without root is all useless. thank you very much beautiful people and hoping to hear from you....bye

wow,
why have you unlocked your bootloader? What did you want to do?
Anyway, now that you have unlocked there is no need to root, just flash a custom kernel (I recommend DooMKerneL, find it in the dev section, make sure you get the one for the T)
Once you have flashed that you will have root.

[Q] Any idea how to get root access on 9.1.A.0.490 (LT25i Singapore)?

Hey Guys,
I've been trying to try to get a root on my LT25i on JellyBean.
Till date, I am unable to get root.
I'm looking at using my Carrier's stock firmware.
Build: 9.1.A.0.490
Carrier: M1, Singapore

We can't use flash tool to downgrade cause its not supported! Any other suggestions??
Thanks

Yes it is, just flash an ICS ftf
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
EDIT,
Sorry my mistake, now I am at my PC I can see you have a V.
In which case rooting is easy..just unlock you rbootloader and flash an insecure kernel.

Go back to ICS

Hey friends, I'm using a Xperia T lt30a running jellybean firmware on rogers but I want to go back to ics to test camera performance on that firmware. The camera quality on this phone is absolutely putrid! One of the worst I tested in the last couple years.
Any rogers ftf files around?

You are relatively new to xda. Before posting a question one must first search for it in the relevant sections.
If after searching you are unable to find it search again and if you still happen to find no solution then post your question in either the general section or the troubleshooting section based on what it relates to.
Never post it in the development thread or else you will get a lot of rude comments from members.
Finally you can root .67 by either using doomlords method or kingo method . Search for the relevant thread and you should be able to find it.
