How to return from New bootloader - LG Optimus 2x

Hello. I want to ask you how to return from New bootloader to the old bootloader. Im trying AIO tollkit with option 4, I connect device and press enter and it shows "aborted". APX drivers installed and other options from AIO toolkit working well. Please help me and sorry for my english

Hi, i used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975274 which flashes your phone back to GB and installs cm10 and recovery, then download and flash the rom of your choice.
download tool, extract then run the flash.bat file, turn of phone and remove battery, then hold both vol+ and vol- wait a bit then press enter and NVflash should activate the phone and up/downgrade it.

Thnx bro ! )

Can i use smartflash over 30a to go back to old bootloader with some gb or froyo rom?

Search for it in the developer forum

Need help with getting ICS on my Black.

Hey. I've been trying to root my Black, running 2.2.2, for the past few days and couldn't get it done. Tried Superoneclick and UnlockRoot, both of them didn't help me. The thing is, I don't really need the root, only ICS. I've heard there's a beta version of 4.0 for Black. Is there any way to flash the ICS stock rom, if there is one, without rooting, and in a successful and safe way?
For rooting 2.2.2, try with Blackjack (google for it or find it here)
For flash ICS ROM
1. Download the kdz file from http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP970/AFRAKW/V30b_00/V30B_00.kdz
2. convert it to .bin and .fls http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692191 (don't patch it with CWM!!!)
3. Flash using Smart Flash Tools http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448803
4. Done
Do with your own risk.
note :
Flashing using SMT will erase all of your data.
If application data on your phone now are important, I suggest you to root your device, then backup your data (I'm using Titanium Backup). You can restore later on ICS.

Simply boot to recovery/cwm, wipe everything, flash izs done. Do a factory reset afterwards in hidden menu and you re good to go, no need to flash v30. You should only flash v30 baseband/fls file afterwards using sft. But i am quite sure it ll work then. Did you also put it in download mode?

Hi all.
I have LG Optimus 2X that needs to be fixed. It's not my phone and I'm not quite familiar with all these developing stuff so I would need some starter guide
My friend (who owns the phone) tried to update it, connected it to PC and started update but phone got stuck at SW upgrade and I can't even get to recovery. Can you please give me some advice? Thanks in advance!

Can you please give me some link? I don't know what sould I look for.
Sorry for bothering you like that.
First do a hard reset. Power button+ volume down button hold together
If hard reset doesn't work
Then,
download the AIO tookit from here http://www.playallatonce.com/toolkit/
install it and install drivers present in AIO toolkit
then download the ics stock rom from here http://d-h.st/users/gueste/?fld_id=7432#files
install it using nvflash method from toolkit
from more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737

though your last post was perfect for a noob......just wanted to correct something with this post...
NVflash of a stock ROM does not automatically root it....we have to root it using a rooting method...for example spyrosk's All In One Tool kit
Thanks

[q] mobile odin pro

I was with the stock ics 4.0.4 rom and put the cyanogenmod 9.1. But after I did the flash is no longer going into recovery mode and download mode. When I try to get into some of these modes, the phone starts right in CM9.
Now I'm thinking of changing the kernel with Mobile Odin Pro to try to solve this problem, and re-appear the recovery so I can install another rom. Or I try to install the stock rom 4.1.2 direct by MOP.
However, I do not know if this procedure is safe, because I am with cyanogenmod 9.1, and I'm afraid of doing something wrong, and you can not turn over the device. Do you think this procedure safe? Is there any other way to solve this?
Sorry for the english
1> why does the title say that?
2> how are you trying to get into recovery?
3> is the cm9 working fine?
if cm rom is booting fine, enable the USB debugging options from developer options and connect the phone to PC.. make sure you have adb drivers.. use "adb reboot recovery" to boot into recovery and check what happens

because I thought that only with mobile odin pro would I get change rom.
I tried to get into recovery by pressing up + menu + power to turn.
The CM9 is very slow and giving errors every once in a while it is restarting on its own. Previously I had CM9, and it was very stable and fast, but now is different, do not know why.
What are adb drivers? With them I'll get into the recovery mode and change rom?
With adb commands, you could try to get into recovery. Just search for it. If that doesn't work, you can use mobile odin to flash the stock rom.

not work with adb! I'll use the mop to install the stock rom.
Can I install the stock 4.1.2?
Remember that I'm with cyanogenmod 9.1! I'm afraid to give something wrong. This procedure is 100% safe?
You can use odin to install the new rom. Just make sure to check the option of wipe data. Even rooting and flashing is not 100% safe but doing it the right way will reduce the risk.
Mobile odin flashes using its own kernel while flashing which is safe so it safer too.

I did the procedure and installed the stock 4.1.2 rom, it starts, and the logo appears galaxy note (without the yellow triangle) and the Samsung logo appears, with that little song, but then it shuts down. what can be? at and what to do to fix it?
Edit: I fixed it! I went into recovery mode and did factory reset and wipe cache, and it worked! Many thanks for the help
