u dont have to create multiple accounts for getting ur answer..just post ur query and wait coz no one has the time to answer every single question :/
and btw u can install tun.ko app from playstore here

Help with module tun.ko
I did not create two accounts, I looking I found that someone here has the same version of phone, and probe the tun.ko and that there is no tun.ko module for my kernel version.
I need someone to help me compile a tun.ko module for my phone. or any tutorial to do it myself.

Hey , I just brought the Samsung s3 mini and I want to root it I was looking at some tutorials but I wasn't sure which one to follow , here's my phone info :

The only thing to watch out is if you are sure that you got i9070(non P) while trying to flash lq4.
If you got i9070P this rom WILL BRICK your device.
other than that it is pretty standard flash procedure so should be good to go.

2) im using galaxy s advance running jb 4.1.2(very laggy) .i want to root my phone and install a custom rom (lag free) but im unable to find a right page in xda that culd help me in rooting and custom modding ,so plz help me in doing stuff!!

Well hello there new user!
- To Root, checkout this THREAD!
- There are a lot of ROMs out there for our device and they are all pretty much the same so you can find all of them here OR wait for a few weeks to try my ROM
- Or before downloading and trying any ROM, please install a Custom Kernel along with your stock firmware (that is what I'm doing for now) and you will surely see a lot of difference mate.... LINK TO COCORE E 6.0 (the best custom kernel)
They are all very simple to follow.. but if you need any instructions then please ask me And please don't create new threads for simple questions like this.. if you have a question, you can just post it here :good:
One more question.. was Jellybean preinstalled for you OR did you upgrade from Gingerbread?

Hallo there.
If you are uncomfortable with a written explanation then you might want to have a look on YouTube.
Anyways lets get started.
You will need the Samsung usb drivers installed and Odin.
Now all you need to do is to flash using Odin Philz Kernel / recovery.
This will give your device a custom kernel and recovery (safe) while rooting your device.
It's been sometime since I have played with the Note so this may not be 100% accurate (right off my head) .
Just a precaution I will NOT be held reliable for any damage caused to you or your device.

Read the first thread and follow the Root on Stock recovery method in the thread. The second link i have posted is where u can download PhilZ kernel. Please read the posts thoroughly. And do visit the sticky threads in the GT-N7000 Android Development and Original Android Developmemt forums.

Use flash philz from recovery. You will get superuser app to manage superuser apps. CWM recovery and rooted. Just search for Philz and download the matching kernel for your rom.
For your current rom. Please DO NOT do any factory reset. As there is brick bug in ICS.
Factory reset can only be done using safe kernel like Philz kernel.
