Wow! great finding!
Is that the files needed to build your own rom?
The pre built tar contains some executables?
Also it says DROID bionic at the bottom?
Sent from my XT890 using xda premium
Not a rom
I showed the page to papi92 (Dev and creator of AMBP), and he told me its only the kernel, you cant build a complete rom out of it..
Of course
like other manufacturer they release only the code they should.
I never saw a manufacturer releasing all the source code for their rom.

That's definitely in the realm of reason. You'd have to ask Team Liquid or turl1 though.
Looks like hardware drivers included, should not be a problem to make AOSP.
At least I hope
Sent from my XT890 using xda app-developers app
go matt maybe you could ask turl1 ? :fingers-crossed:
see u bro
Well this is good news. Hopefully this means the ROM is not far behind, and I really hope this set isn't corrupted like the previous one was.

It's been a while since I saw a post like yours. You can't just ask for something like that, not even if you ask politely. It is very hard to do what you asked, it has been discussed before. So, before opening a new topic, think a little and read a LOT, it will bring good to all of us. Live long and prosper.
a lot of developers are working on porting 3.0 kernel to ace and gio
till now most havent booted
these kernels would be released when they are near any beta or working properly
just wait
patience is all we need

You need to compile all the sources and repair all the errors, and then, maybe your kernel will boot
And then you will have a lot of work

we can implement fsr directly into kernel if we want to
fsr.ko isnt needed, it can be booted even without it
(As a small reference: it will be one of the further work of MS Team )

Adding a new device:
If you're a maintainer and would like to add a device to be officially supported (ie. go into nightlies), please follow these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483720
Other builds:
If you have other unofficial builds, please PM them to me. Keep in mind that while I'm not against releasing builds yourself, I'd rather have the official ones in here until nightlies
Testing the rom on my Mako. Fast and smooth, although Active Display seems to work randomly: some Whatsapp's notification showed, and some others didn't. And notification staying on screen time is very short, couple of seconds.
EDIT:
Bugs reported to Jira.omnirom.org.
In general terms, great rom, and great job. U guys rock. Thanks 4 everything

I'm not sure if anyone owns deb... I don't do blind builds, and honestly, if I find out a maintainer is doing blind builds, I'm likely to shut off that device's nightlies.
