(Q) Find kernel of CM10.1 for SU660 - LG Optimus 2x

Hello everyone. I'm a SU660's user.
As you know, now CM team release CM10.1 nightly for P990. Of course, this ROM can not use for SU660 if you don't have kernel.
Recently, I use kernel v0.15a by wkpark (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1971350). But this still have call bug. In this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014677), marsgod find out how to fix it. But his file only update for current kernel. It's not real kernel.
Does anybody have kernel for SU660 with call bug fixed?
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.

Just follow the link in that post and search for Kernel by ngocphong_gha, that's the best kernel for official cm10.1 so far :good:

How to fix SoD?

Hi guys,
I am a new member, so I have to post this developer question here
Is anybody fixed SoD issue for p970?
I have built CM7 with v20N kernel, sometimes SoD occurred. I saw in Zeus ROM thread, maybe SoD has been fixed, so, if you have fixed it, could you please tell me how to?
Thanks a lot.

this thread should go on Q&A section
Huexxx is the man for that to talk him about the SoD on Zeus thread.
by the way, are you a developer from the Lezo ROM? because your name is on the build.prop

I can only get V20N kernel source from LGE website
No V20B kernel source to compare...

Hi,
I've got massive battery drain when mobile data is enabled with RIL (0218 - 10b) that comes with 7.2
Baseband is from v20q stock rom, and ril from 20q is not working.
Any recomended BB/RIL combination with this near (voodoo sound patch in kernel please) perfect ROM?
thanx,
cedo_n

thanx for nice intentions, but I've read that post months ago, and obviously didn't find the solution for this cm 7.2 ROM that refuses to work with RIL from 20q... because on stock 20q with BB and RIL from that same stock ROM no massive drains.
EDIT: OK I'll try froyo baseband and ril and hope for even better stability/performance than stock GB bb/ril combination..

I m using 521 bb and 218 cm7 default ril.
Or try 725 10d ril.
Works best for me.

"Months ago"? I doubt that as I created the thread 5 weeks ago
But I see you already found the answer, yes you need a Froyo RIL for the v20 GB Basebands for CM ROMs.

[Q] Q to: [ROM][JB] MIUI v4 2.11.30 for Optimus 2x (stable, unofficial) [10/12/12

[ROM][JB] MIUI v4 2.11.30 for Optimus 2x - external SD issue and bt disconneting
Hi every one,
I post here some info related to "[ROM][JB] MIUI v4 2.11.30 for Optimus 2x (stable, unofficial)" that could be useful to improve the great work done by rugglez (by the way really thanks for you wrok)
I don't have right to post in dev, so i hope here is fine too since also torsoen have some questions about same topic.
Mi baseband is 622 and the rugglez's rom is stable and usable.
Two only issues after one day of tests with bluetooth, navigation, photos, data, wifi, thetering and so on..
- BT disconnects after a minute or so of inactivity
- If I flash multilanguage following instructions my external SD (16GB) does not get recognized.
If I flash again the main english rom, having so english for lockscreen and OS - but my language (italian) for gapps! - the external SD works properly.
Then we hope for some answers
let's wait band sede
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
Waiting has not give answers, but maybe wait a bit more?

There are no kernels with OC/UV capability unfortunately...

[Q] CM Kernel?

The question probably doesn't belong here but unfortunately I couldn't find what I wanted to know elsewhere. I've seen that there is a CM port kernel in the kernel list but what does a CM port kernel actually do? Can you install Cyanogenmod ROM with it? Sorry for the basic question but it would very nice if somebody could help me out here!
The kernal fixes some problems in the Roms is what I read? I'm not sure if you can install it with or without it.
You can use the kernel, if you have installed the T700 cm-11.0 build from eousphoros:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/orig-development/unofficial-cyanogenmod-11-android-4-4-4-t2835170
BG, Nvertigo
Thanks guys!
So I need to flash the ROM first and then the Kernel?
Yes. You will also need to root again the rom isn't rooted.
