Hi All,
Is it possible to flash any available S3 ROMS on the 9305, for example even those for the I9300 or are there any specific ones?
In this case, can you please point me to the right thread where I can find them?
Thank you in advance.
Do NOT flash i9300 Rom on the i9305 . You will brick your phone doing so. First of all do a backup then u can learn about roms for the i9305

Thank you for your reply.
What would you recommend to use to perform the backup?

Well the phone is still young so we're going to take some minor and major updates (eg v.5.0) officially from Samsung!
Custom ROMs need a CWM (or custom) recovery first. So we'll have to wait a bit i guess from more experienced members and developers!

Most companies (including Samsung), have agreed with Google that they will provide support with firmware updates for at least 1,5 year after a new device is released.
http://androinica.com/2011/05/android-updates-for-18-months/
Sadly manufacturers are not following this rule to the letter...
But our device is still new so we can be hopeful at least!
Ah okay thanks for the reply.

Actually yes.
I have nexus, HTC and a couple of Sammy firmwares on my device - on my sd-card.
Doesn't mean I'm trying to flash them though.

Good Morning, nearly had an heart attack and put my hot coffee on the keyboard.
Please be careful with sleepy members in help threads next time.
And welcome back - didn't read something toxic a long time here.
Just carefully checked all threads, but looks like only method for rooting i8190. Is there any way to root I8190N. My s3 mini baseban version is I8190NXXALL3
R: [Q] How to root I8190N?

You don't have to change rom to gain root.
This guide works for all 8190 models.
I did miss this thread. Thanks!

Maybe just to check whether the version of Odin he's looking at (assuming that's the question) can be used with the I9000 (if its one of those online guides from other websites, some of them can be a bit vague). Plus, so many versions of Odin
