All of this started with the device droping signal here and there. This progressively got more frequent. Earlier today it started boot looping. I have safestrap 3.11. It will come up on hashcode's aokp, D4 HD and stock but they all do the same thing. Now the device will boot up, stay on for about 2 minutes without acquiring signal then it reboots. I disassembeled the phone to look for any bad connections with no result. I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

I woke up this morning and my phone would not boot. it would get past the Orange boot screen, as i am locked to Orange, and then i t would get to the sgs boot screen and stay there for about 5 minutes, then finally turning itself off along with a few random vibrations. I kept trying to turn it on, i tried numerous ways such as taking the external sd and sim card out, taking the battery out for 2 hours but the same thing kept happening. My phone was not rooted and has never been hacked in anyway, i have had this phone not long. It was working fine the night before. I fixed this by going into recovery mode, as i could get into both recovery and download mode fine, and i restored to factory settings from that. Now it works fine. Anyone know what was up with it and how i can fix it without restoring if it happens again. I didn't look it up when it was happening as i didnt have access to the computer,
Thanks
What you describe sound like a bootloop, which could be caused by many things, if it recurs my suggestion is to take it back to orange and insist on replacement/fix. I was with orange but hacked my way out of their crap software ages ago!

Hi guys,
I have no idea what to do anymore. My Samsung GT-I9001 shuts down several times each day - its really annoying.
In the beginning I had the original Android installed and very soon the phone started to shut down, reboot, or to freeze.
I flashed the phone with the latest Gingerbread version. The phone still shut down, but it didnt freeze or reboot anymore. However, since that I had problems with my WLAN connection. Most time the phone didnt connect automatically to my WLAN and it disconnected the connection after some time although the signal was very good.
Because of these problems I flashed my phone with CyanogenMod 9 RC (Build 4) yesterday. Some hours after the flash my phone shut down again. Today it did the same again. Apart from that, everything seems to work fine.
Does CM9 have some kind of log files where I could check why my phone is shutting down? Or do you have any other ideas I could try?
Thank you very much!

My Note 3 is rooted on MJ5. Its been working good for a while when all of a sudden maybe once or twice a day it would lose signal in an area with good reception. I either have to wait more than 10 mins for it to go back to normal or reboot my phone. It happened again earlier today, but it froze on the att logo on bootup. Then it did this bootloop thing a few times until finally it was able to get past the logo. Whats going on?
Hi there,
Okay, so I have been facing this weird and annoying problem(makes me sometimes throw the phone towards the wall, thanks to AHD solid build otherwise it must have been broken by now). Whenever I turn on the wifi and connect to the network, my phone hangs and freezes for like 10-20s and then restarts. It first started happening around 4 months ago and I have owned this device for more than a year. I cleaned flashed the stock rom again and it was fine and a week later it all started again. And the process of me flashing(Clean flash) again and freezing problem has become a loop. I have clean flashed like 5-6 times in these 4 months but the problem persists. I know some people say that this issue develops when there is a shortage of ram but I use the basic apps which I have been using for years. I clear my cache from time to time and have enough internal storage capacity always. I also have around 250-300mb free ram on average.
I have tried cm11, Validus, Lollipop roms on my AHD but they always have some bugs which makes me stay away from them. I like the fluidity and stability of stock therefore most of the time I stay stock.
Just yesterday when I connected to my home wifi the phone froze as usual and restarted. On restarting it automatically connected itself again with the network and froze and restarted again. This continued for like 10 times in loops, after which I immediately went into the settings and turned off the wifi as the phone restarted.
Please help me out, the phone has become unusable for me.
One thing more, I made a nandroid backup of stock rom JB 4.1.1 AT&T the very first time I flashed a custom rom on my phone and after clean flashing(format system, wiping cache, wiping user data, dalvik cache) I restore the rom from that backup. Basically I have never flashed the rom through RSD Lite.
So maybe I should try flashing with RSD Lite and see if the problem persists?
Seriously, would anyone care to help?
Or I'm just wasting my time here? Isn't this community built to help people?
It's not a problem I've had, but I'd say start from scratch. Go back to stock, then re root and try again.

Thanks. I'll try. Hopefully it would fix the problem
Hey everyone,
I have the XT1925-12 G6, the Verizon 3GB version, and I've had constant issues with it rebooting and getting "[app name] has stopped responding" or just simply instant reboots to the boot screen and it'll stay there for 10+ minutes before it'll even boot up. I'm unrooted, no custom recovery, and no custom ROM. I've factory reset 3 times, and it still persists.
Does anyone know of why this may be happening and how I could fix it? Would flashing a custom ROM be better? It happens during even the simplest tasks, such as sending a text or browsing Facebook as well.
Thanks for any and all help.
If you've already factory reset it 3 times and the phone keeps freezing, it might be a hardware issue. I would see if Verizon/Motorola could swap it out. Being as it's a Verizon-branded phone, there are no custom ROMs available for the phone since you can't root it.
