Hello,
since I have upgrade from HC to ICS (P7300), the black android keyboard is not available any more.
As I don't like the Samsung keyboard, is it possible to get the old one back?
Hey, actually, i dont think it is possible to revert to the old keyboard.
If its only about the skin, you can download Touchpal Keyboard, go to skins and select the default Honeycomb skin.
There's also Stock Samsung, iPad, Ics, Jb and many more skins available.
cheers

OK so I love the keyboard from android.grdlock.net (under the extras section) but I hate how the background on it is clear could someone fix this and upload a new apk or tell me how I can fix this myself
Download Smart Keyboard Pro. It's an awesome keyboard. It has a stock Android theme, HTC theme, iPhone theme, all built in. And it has some really nice features over the stock keyboard too.
HI Guys,
I wish to use Jelly bean ROM thats available here but only thing that made me come back to Sense 4.0 Rom is that the JB Android doesnt have the T9 Keyboard that worries me much Is it possible just to port or zip that can get the t9 keyboard to CM10 or PA Rom
I tried another app for t9 Keyboard but it sucked HTC Keyboard Rocks!!
Can anyone port it? Possible??
To put it simply, you can't have any HTC app without all the others. So, you can't have the sense keyboard without any sense framework and other things it relies on.
Closest you can get is with a third party keyboard and a skin. I use Smart Keyboard Pro on AOSP roms

Did you download the english dictionary from the play store as well? You need that Also do a calibration from the keyboard's settings, that helps calibrate to your writing style
Hey Community,
I'm searching a original Android 4.2 Keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini but the keyboard must be white or light and the letters logically black/dark, like the current Sony Xperia Keyboards. I don't want to install some keyboards from the Playstore. Btw: My phone is not rooted...
It is maybe possible to do this self, if I edit the APK-File of the Android 4.2 Keyboard?
Current Android Version: 4.1.2
See Attachment maybe like the light.jpg
BUMP
I am looking for a light themed 4.2 keyboard, too.
Anyone have the modded Samsung keyboard with auto correction? I miss it. ><

hmmmm...i am on custom rom ...i miss the stock jelly bean samsung keyboard so much
Well there are ports, just search on xda for TW/Samsung keyboard. I'd like to say that the 4.2.2 keyboard is also a very good alternative with a good layout and two-finger swype. It's available on the market as 4.2 keyboard.
Know why i want it? Because the tablet Samsung keyboard is kinda small when I'm on tablet mode. The only way to bigger the keyboard is to find a phone Samsung keyboard. I found it from my titanium backup. But it without auto correct. I knew there have note 2 Samsung keyboard available on theme and app section, but the size isn't fit the screen.
For the jelly bean 4.2 keyboard, it's a nice keyboard but the keyboard is support multi dpi. Which means it become smaller when goes to tablet mode.
The image i attached is note 8 keyboard with black theme.

4.2 keyboard doesn't have multiple dpi. What ROM do you use? You go to tablet mode in the PA hybrid properties right? When i switch to tablet mode, well my 4.2 keyboard doesn't become smaller
Nope. I'm just using xperiacle's 3 ui in 1 mod.

you can install a ROM that has the keyboard with autocorrect, then get a titanium backup of it and then restore that backup to ur current ROM. Hit thanks if this helps
Well . This isn't a good idea because I'm tired on restoring. ><

I really like the Samsung keyboar stock theme however whenever I change to a different themes the keyboard changes. Is there anyway to keep the Samsung keyboard default theme?
