the one that flips ur screen is crt on, so turn it off.
CRT OFF doesn't flip the screen, so if you like the effect leave it. (Actually CRT OFF does flip the screen but during the off animation itself)
does someone know what reason cause the screen upside down ? when enabled the CRT-ON/OFF feature ?
It is related to the J-kay mode n still not fixed yet..

Crt on and off effects existed before Jkay mod. So the two are unrelated. Jkay just uses it.

May seem silly but have you tried any other wall papers?? Different colours or even googling a picture of something black, just to check it isn't the wallpaper/image??
Because the discolouration comes through the screenshot, I would think the wallpaper would be the problem.

It's the ripple effect.
Uncheck the ripple effect In lock screen options and it'll be fine
It's a known bug

Thanks it was the ripple effect, now switched off and looks normal....how wierd is that I thought my screen was buggered!!!

Is it possible to write an app changing the lockscreen wallpaper (e.g. every hour)?
I would wish whidest possible compatibilty! 2.3 to 4.2 would be great.
If there is no API soltion maybe somebody knows a path to file that has to get changed or something like that.
Would be really great if sb. had a solution for this!
(I have rooted Galaxy S1/ Cyanogenmod 4.2.2[10.1 Nightly])
@admins sry wasn't able to post this to dev forum
That would be amazing . Good idea .

As far as I know notifications and widgets on lockscreen is only possible on 4.2, so I guess we have to wait!

If someone wants to try this, here is a link to a tutorial I found. No time for me to try, so hope someone wants to try...
Weather On Lockscreen Tutorial
Okay kids, what I have found so far, is that in framework-res there are images for weather and some things that apply to the weather on the lockscreen. What is missing as having that option in the lock screen settings in secsettings.apk. So if someone has a tutorial to add that, we may get the weather on the lockscreen. I am still searching and have worn google out for the night LOL

I found one line after decompiling framework in values folder ( I don't remember exact file) it said enable weather on lockscreen= false. I made that true and got option in settings under lockscreen menu. But on lockscreen it always said weather info. Not available

Hope you can find that xml again, not in my decompiled framework (so far lol)
I'll just wait till JB 4.2 comes out. This is way beyond my knowledge.

In framework-res in values found this in bools:
<bool name="config_isWeatherWidgetEnabled">true</bool>
it was false, I changed to true but after flashing there was nothing changed. hmmm
I wonder if having ink effect on lockscreen would prevent weather on lockscreen.
So can anyone port this? Ace 2 have weather widget on lockscreen ;__;
Hello everyone,
my colleague has that phone and he would like use ripple efect on the lockscreen.
Is that possible to use it on CM10.1? Any flashable zip package?
Thanks in advance
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4
There's no flashable package as of now, however there is an app that surprisingly simulates the Galaxy S4 screen quite well. By default its set to the Light effect bu that can be changed to the Ripple effect. Search it on the Play Store.
