Htc Origonal Rom

I Am With Orange Uk And I Would Like To Get Rid Off Thire Software And Just Have The Origonal Htc On My Phone Or A Rom Thats Working From Here. Can Any One Advice Me On Where To Locate And Download This Please. I Have Instaled The Hard-spl And It Has Worked Fine Cant Unlock The Sim But Thats No Biggy. Its The Tytn11

If you don't want to start flashing new ROMs to your phone, there is a possible solution:
Perform a hard reset. After the phone boots up for the first time, You will see a window pop up which will say that it will customize your device in three seconds. If you soft reset before the 3 seconds pass, you will keep the original Windows Mobile without any bloatware. Downside probably is you will be missing some nice HTC software.
So flashing an original HTC ROM would be the best solution. Download it here:

HELP me with my brick htc touch opal(viva)

I recently flashed my opal to wm 6.5 and it worked perfectly fine. Yet today when I tried to install a software which would help display chinese character, after reboot, it got stuck in the smart mobility screen. I have tried hard reset and it didnt work. HELP ME!!!

Try entering the bootloader, plugging it in, and on a PC, flash the stock ROM back with the RUU. And for future reference, questions should be posted in the Q&A forum or in you device's relevent forum instead of here, as Development and Hacking is reserved for the development of software.

try this ...
if you can't enter boot-loader, and obtain a regular active sync connection (in order to reflash) you must try to flash from your sd card.
here you will find some instructions for htc Polaris (i own one) but you have to search the forum how is that to be done for htc touch opal.
it should be something similar there for your opal, and this worked for me in the same situation on my polaris.

[Q] (Jan 24th 2011) Soft bricked phone?

Ello. First time poster, not much of a noob, only with fastboot/adb which i just learned how to use a few days ago...
I was trying to update my HTC Dream into the Cyanogen mod 7 nightly, but i havent been able to get that far due to the need of radio 2.22.27.08 and hboot 1.33.0013d. Instead, i was able to lose my fastboot/adb (to my knowledge) and recovery. I tried updating my radio and hboot, but it lead up to me reflashing dangerSPL and an accidental battery pull by my phone sliding off the table and hitting the floor. Since then, fastboot and recovery would not open.
My phone screen still shows the "Rogers" logo and if i leave the battery out long enough to make it soft reset, it surpasses the rogers screen and just shows a black (but lit) screen. I would appreciate help from anyone that can guide me through this stressful times during my exams. Thank you in advance.

Htc website, support center, look for hard bricked. Hope it help !

If previous steps are not working, then go to this link: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=HTC_Dream:_Rooting and download appropriate DREAIMG.nbh for your Dream and then start from ROOTING your Dream from the beginning and flash any bootloader, radio and finally ROM! Hope this will help you.

I'm getting my HD7 soon, I used to flash my old windows mobiles, but I have no clue about the WP7, please make step-by-step tutorial

Do you want to use your WP7 phone for making a phone calls or are you going to buy it for re-flashing?

Since five years i never had the o-rom on my devices longer than one hour. The 1st i did, when i bought them, was to flash a custom rom or (on HD7) to unlock. Isn´t it normal for wm users?

I'm put the goldcard on my HD7 right now, since it jump out of the box.

It's pleanty of tutorial, just search and read.

All HTC Tytn II English roms are missing

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums.
Anyways, I have been searching for an English Rom for my HTC TyTn II (GER) that is currently running on Windows 6.
But I have not found one link that works.
I want my phone to be able run the Android Gingerbread 2.3.5, if there is a later version that will be even better.
Please, I have been searching for hours now.
The phone has 120mb internal storage memory.
A great friend of mine gave me this phone. Not sure if that helps, but just putting it out there lol.
I already found some awesome How-To guides from this forum.
And I know this forum is still very active, which is good too.
What I need:
a working English rom
Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 patch... (not sure if I need the English rom, if I have this or not)
So may someone please help? Thank you in advance!

So I downloaded all the WWE's and tried every one of them, but they all give me "INVALID VENDOR ID." I'm sure I have a HTC Tytn II, Kaiser. What is wrong? How can I fix it?

Then I followed the Hard SPL guide, I got a white screen. And no Tri-color screen.
After that I just removed battery and re-tried it a few more times same deal, white screen.

So I tried SSPL-KAIS.exe using Microsoft ActiveSync, I simply moved the SSPL-KAIS.exe to the Windows Mobile-Based Device, then I clicked on the bootloader.. it brought up properties.
I thought this was supposed to be really easy from what I read on the forums, but I keep running into dead ends. lol.
Please I need to know if I'm doing anything wrong, if so how can I install the English rom? Because I can't, not yet anyways.
