Hey guys, I was wondering why my 2G/3G connection goes down while I'm making a call, on my previous devices it wouldn't happen and it's kind of annoying since I want both of those things to work at the same time. Any suggestions? :fingers-crossed:

I do every once in awhile. sometimes I have to reboot the phone and it finally connects up to my devices. Never connects up to my keyboard anymore though.
On FroYo it was flawless bluetooth.
Yeah it was better on froyo.. hilarious how they update **** but end up making it worse..

i think i did that with ym s3 though
Hi everyone.
This is my first post here. As you might know the S3 mini has very little internal memory so my problem is that I pretended that using external SD card for my music would be enough. So I usually commute to the office listening some music but some day when I was about to get to the office (it's like an hour or a little bit less of trip ) my phone suddenly turned itself off. My phone is not really old neither does it the SD card provided in the box.
Does anyone here have ever experienced a sudden shutdown listening to music or videos?
My guess is that the SD card is the problem but I'm not completely sure, also it was provided by Samsung so how could I get a better SD card for this purpose? Is there another problem I have missed?
Please tell me. Thanks in advance.
PS: My phone uses the stock rom with JB 4.1.1 and the device is no more than 2 months old.
Tried updating the phone?

EDIT: I'll boot in Windows to test it on Kies just to be completely sure about it, however I think this might be a geographical issue.

Hi guys, I'm trying to increase my phone's battery life.. 3g network in my city isn't very good and the phone drains a lot of power switching 2g 3g very often..
Is there an app or a mod that forces 2g network when the screen goes off and allows auto 2g/3g when when screen is on?
Sorry for my bad english...

Hi....I had flashed the latest version of philz kernel on my stock jellybean n7000. Following this I have noticed that im not able to send files via wifi direct. I can only receive.
Wifi direct is one feature which I love...pls give some suggestions to get it up and running.
Thanks

As an alternative to WiFi direct I recommend You this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lenovo.anyshare.gps
It's way better than WiFi direct

talking about wi-fi direct alternatives, i would like to ask here for more wi-fi direct alternatives as i am on PA, also should the other person also have same app to be able to transfer through that app? or is that i can use this app and other person can still receive it via wi-fi direct?
Yes, the other person has to have this app installed.
But trust me it's worth of it.
The app works like this: receiver makes an WiFi access point (app does that automatically) and the other phone just connects.
Some other apps :
WiFi file sender
Hoccer (maybe spelled wrong)
Bump.
But as far anyshare is the best
Try it

Nah, I don't think so. Only original wifi direct can connect. I haven't seen any other app to send via WIFI direct.
Just send Your friend (or whoever You want to send files) anyshare and You're ready to go.
While I'm sending from my note to sgs2 the transfer is ~1.3MB/s and it's much easier in use. Wifi direct sometimes has problems with connecting, custom ROMs don't support it well. That's why I have used WIFI direct like 6 times in my life.
Just give it a try
Never knew of these apps...do they work on other phones as well? Thanks ! Will give them a try :beer:

Yes, they work on other Android phones. Idk what the minimum required version is but I think it's 2.3+
