Ok, so here is the issue. After installing a few apps, i noticed i couldnt install more apps because there wasnt enough space. But there was! After investigatong a little bit, i found a forum that said that some smartphones may have 4 or 8gb of storage; but they only have 1 or 2Gb designated for apps. How can i increase this?

The point is that part of internal memory is dedicated for system and you cant use it for apps...

open, get root rights
go to settings, mark Mount as ext4 without journaling
reboot
open again s2e and mark what need to e moved

I'm not using jelly bean but you could try going to cwm and formatting sd-ext only from the menu...I had similar problem in cyanmobile...

So copy the two scripts and change their permissions as mentioned in above thread
Just install the apk mentioned in this thread.
Reboot it and go to app it will work.

Just use int2ext+ like a boss.
Repartitioning your sd card will fix that.

ExtSd2InternalSd works well, it swops your internal and external SD cards, so your phone thinks the external is the internal and vice-versa: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234

I looked at this but it does not have one 9305 listed and quite a few negative comments written, proceed with caution... :fingers-crossed:
Another vote here for Directory Bind. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong the first time around (Needed to make the disc r/w rather than r/o), it's worked like a charm since.

I've rooted my XZ lockedbootloader and first thing that i did after rooting was installing link2sd but i cant move any apps because of the error "insufficient storage"..I've looked this error up but cant seem to find a propper solution so if anyone know how to fix it can please share the solution here...

Hi, I have CM 10.1-2013304 - experimental, kernel 3.0.63-Semaphore_JB_2.9.10. I am trying to instal some new apps from market, but everytime I see notice, that I have no storage space in my device. In internal card I have free 878 MB(used 614),SD card has 441,8MB of free space.

No, no storage space again. I am trying to instal poweramp( first apk from sd card, now from market), and still see the same notice. yesterday I uninstaled this app and today I cant instal it back(cant be problem somewhere in here?)
If you are rooted download Lucky Patcher and run it. It will say unused odex removed. Now install again.

Hello
I know that it is not possible to just transfer apps to SD with a non rooted phone or from the original firmware.
I searched a lot and found nothing.I need a way to transfer the files from odd (the files that take up a lot of space in the internal storage) to the external storage.
I found a thread that uses Directory bind app to bind the 2 directories so it can empty a bit of internal storage.
But i need something better (if there is anything)
i also found this MOD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2337762
that swaps internal and external storage.
Please suggest some different methods so i can make a Guide so anyone can use it to gain more internal storage space.

Its kinda self explanatory. But you can make one like explaining the pros and cons of each method and compile them all together with the instructions. That will be useful as you can see all the methods at one glance.
