If you hate/love TravisBean

Another thread titled "Do you have your own website," reminded me of a stupid website I started a couple of years ago that nobody (including myself) has posted on in over a year. If there are any opinions that you wish to express about my "bubbly personality," good, bad, or indifferent, feel free to post them there. I don't moderate, and freedom of speech is the soup of the day.

OMG, that is awesome..i love it! I guess a website needs a 'hook' to get people involved but that is a really nicely designed site!
The forum alone deserves to take off. If it had a front end that drew visitors i'm sure it'd blow up.
Was it something you did for the hell of it, or as a project for college or something?
Gets my thumbs up anyway!

I just did it for the heck of it.
BTW, really, you can post anything you like there, if you so desire.

Really looking forward to when we get some finalized versions of ICS on the go for the nexus s, and other phones, but I am really excited about Chocolate Doughnut. Anybody have any idea when google will release the source code. They've kept us waiting too long for the doughnut as it is I'm thinking Roll on CD

Nope, never wondered/cared about that. "celebrities" are just people who's names alot of people know. On here, at least in OT, we have our own celebs. Like Archer, CTM, MTM, Vanessa, TRM, Skinny, Boborone, BabyDoll, and a few others.
Those guys > hollywood people.

And the mods who work to keep XDA organized!
Also anybody that takes time out of their day to help a fellow user out, especially the ones who make a habit of doing it as frequently as possible.
All of the above are the real celebrities here on XDA.

What are devs?
What are mods?
Who are we?
People. Some are just less lazy than others. We all share this space called XDA equally. We just share it differently. Sure, respect around here is earned, but the ones who thrive here, such as yourself (wired), and many others who don't develop or care to, add just as much to this community as someone who does. Its all about quality here, whether you rewrite code, offer advice about carriers, all the way to the trolls who entertain us on a daily basis....through some channel of events, we've all found our way here. And I certainly have thought about things differently since I joined.

I'm a librarian working at a university, and I'm tired of people (friends, students, general public) thinking that anyone working in a library is a librarian. I don't stamp books, and I don't stop cataloguing work, thank you!

Wait, you say you're a librarian but you then say you're tired of people thinking you're a librarian? I'm confused. You could take a leaf out of the Unseen university's librarian's book and turn into an orangutan* then you'd just have people mistaking you for a monkey, but you'd be able to rip their arms off so they'd soon learn.

I'm involved in a media propaganda war with TLC, My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding and The Gypsy Sisters and their third rate reality stars over the slander and misrepresentation of me and my people. As of now, fans of theshow and a couple of the stars of the show have actually made a hate page about me at

I have a page on Facebook called Jack Pearce Fan Club that someone made for me to show support for me. I've been accused of a lot of things falsely. It would mean a lot to me if since of you could stop by and just like the page for me. These shows are complete trash and are making a mockery out if me and my family and I can't take it any longer. Thanks everyone.
P.S. They own iPhones exclusively and think they are the best phones made.

And it is amateurish for sure. It's mostly meant to offend me and insinuate lies as truth. I'm am a romanychal, or Gypsy as you would call me. The show is very degrading and we have done everything we can to stop it. I guess I just wanted a place to vent that wasn't biased. I appreciate the moderators letting me go this far. I really love xda and its members for helping me to enjoy my phones the way I want to.
