Hi everyone,
Can anyone advise me.
On the latest 4.3 build I can no longer find developer options.
And titanium backup will not work as it says my nexus is not rooted .
Sorry to be a pain but I'm stuck , searched everywhere first.

Well have you tried tapping the build number in About Tablet multiple times for the Dev options?

As for titanium backup, you should clear all data and cache, uninstall and reinstall. If it still doesn't recognize it, maybe there was a fault in your rooting process

You would have to be in the bootloader to flash that. Tell me what the name of the file is and I will tell you how to flash it via fastboot.

efs.autobackup
And thanks a lot really appreciate it :highfive:
I don't even know how to get to the bootloader on this phone though if you could help me with that as well.
Know how to get into recovery and download mode :good:
Hey, forget about the boot loader and download "ktool" from the play store. This app should make it easy for you to restore your backup.

Pretty sure I just bricked my phone for the first time.
Installed SS, rebooted the phone which brought me right to SS, did a backup, clicked the boot options and clicked Slot-1 and waited for it to finish doing what it does, installed KN0XRAID ROM on there, rebooted, now it sits at the Main Samsung Galaxy NOTE 3 splash with the padlock and won't ever load. The factory recovery does nothing for me and I already tried a reset. I can get into download mode as well.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what happened? Possibly due to my 64gb SD? Did I miss a step?
Thanks.
Press and hold the power and volume up, that should get you in recovery, then restore.... Hope this helps

I had to hold the power+vol-up+home to get into the recovery. Without pressing the home button nothing happens.
Okay, are toy able to restore from the back up you made? If not then I think you have to Odin back to stock...

Wouldn't know how to restore that backup without SS. Just might have to.

I thought the proper Odin files we need to do that aren't available though? I have the latest firmware which is ml9 or something? Hate being hypocritical but I don't have much time to do my research lately. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks to those of you who have been generous enough to try and help.

Are tit able to get to ss twrp recovery? If you made a backup prior to flashing the rom, then you should be able to restore from the backup you made...

Yes. Had a few hiccups but everything seems to be in order with the battery drain insanity that came along with the wonderful MJ5 update.
I deleted system and then wiped data so safetstrap is removed as well as not being able to boot up...Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Btw I'm on Kit Kat so I cant just flash the firmware back on can I?

Just use the mj5 restore as long as your not on official kitkat. If your on official kitkat then bestbuy is your only option.

No problem. Don't know why I said anything about the official kitkat when you clearly stated that safe strap was gone. Lol

lol I was freaking out a little too! This is the first time I have used safestrap, all the other devices that I have owned previously have had twrp/cwm so I was kind of lost at what to do next.
so i just recieved my Nexus 6 and activated it on sprint... it asked me right away to download and install a new update... i clicked skipped but just got a notification that an "Android 5.0 Update" is available.
as of now im not installing it.
or
is it safe to install even though i want to unlock and root phone today.
or
is it needed by the devs or community?
Thanks in advance
