Tpu cases on ebay

Just found out that there are a few cheap TPU cases on ebay now for the Note 2. They are top quality but should protect my baby for a few weeks before other ones come out

Yeah I saw a few on there the other day. What kind of case do you really want? I've been a big fan of TPU as they have protected my EVO and EVO3d very well.

But ultimately I will get a dual layer case such as Otterbox .....although I have taken off Otterbox on my Note 1 recently and replaced it with a TPU which makes the phone much thinner
Hopefully Otterbox and other dual layer case makers will make WHITE colour cases to go with my white note 2 :fingers-crossed:

I love tpu cases, it's all I've ever used with my n7000.
I like the Mercury brand of cases, they have a glossy and non rubbery texture.

Wacom pens are not affected by screen protectors unless they are magnetic

i think theres another recent thread on this. I hate cases, but love my Samsung TPU case. Super thin, rubber sides, plastic back that looks like factory back. Most people have no idea I have a case on it. Paid $15 for it

Do u thinks they have tpu cases for this phone in the kiosks in the mall. Need something to hold me over until I can get mine from eBay. All they sell at the carrier stores are flip covers for 50 bucks.

I bought the JKase Premium Quality Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 GT-N7100 Streamline TPU Case Cover - Retail Packaging - Clear from Amazon. It was cheap and I was able to get fast 2 day shipping with Prime. (can't post a link yet since I am new)
This case and my Note 2 will be arriving tomorrow. I hope the case will be enough to hold me over until a better deal comes about on a name brand case. I'll be pairing this with a Spigen screen protector.

Im using the white and grey case mate case from at&t. The reason, I billed it to my company.

Got the black Body Glove case from Sprint and love it for it's thin form factor, non-slippery feel, and design.

Same here. I also have the Proclips mount in my car, meaning I have to take the case off to use it. The Body Glove case comes off and goes back on very easily.

Also bought the body glove one from sprint. Was worried about cases and adding bulk but this seems to be minimal and my phone doesn't feel like it's going to slip out of my hand every time I hold it.

I went to several Sprint locations, and none of them had the body glove case. I was also hoping to get something with a belt clip.

The only case I found locally in stock for my Note 2 was at the AT&T store and it was a white/grey CaseMate with a built in kickstand I think it cost $38 and did not come with a screen protector. Wish Otterbox made a Commuter style with built in kickstand for the Note 2.

I bought the Ringke SLIM Soft Feeling Premium Hard Case. It's slim. adds very little bulk while protecting at the same time and got it off of amazon for 10.99 on sale from 25.00. I added the Spigen SGP Ultra Oloephobic screen protector and it's totally protected. I love them both.......

$5 Ionic Position folio-style case off of Amazon. Offers good protection, looks good, and doesn't have a magnetic closure (huge!).
I just purchased a Seidio Active-like case off of Amazon to use until the Seidio Active combo either comes down in price or shows up at Best Buy for 2/3rds of what it costs now.
I also just returned an Amzer Shellster because it was a piece of crap that broke three days in. Spending $6 to return an item that I'll get $14 back for, after spending $5 initially to have it shipped. Really thrilled about Amzer's customer service policies.

Are otterbox cases easy to remove to put in a car dock or more importantly, to change the batteries?
If so, which one should be easier, the defender or the commuter? I don't mind the bulkiness of any case (if they do protect), but I do want to remove them easily if I need to. The slim, non tpu soft cases, are very hard to remove. I'm using a flexi tpu now, very easy to remove, but ugly, and not sure about protection.
So would the ottebox be good for me?

I don't know about the Commuter, but I wanted a Defender for my old Atrix 4G but I ended up not getting it because it was too much of a pain to remove it for the car dock...

They released a pink breast cancer awareness too. That's surprising. The defender ,which Im waiting for, has a "knight" color aswell a gray and black option

The knight is gray and black, Glacier is white and black, and then just black. Thinking I may go with the knight.
Well I guess the Glacier is more of an off white/very light gray from the pics

Damn they are proud of those! I love my S3 commuter case and they are like $18 on Amazon. More than double for a little more case? Lame Sauce.

They're all that price when they first come out. After a couple weeks you can find them for about 35. And it's quite a bit more case than a commuter and has a holster.

I would pick one up but Im waiting on reviews. I hope the buttons aren't as hard as the S3 Commuter. I loved my Commuter case for the HTC Evo 4g, HTC Evo 3D and The Evo LTE. Why are the commuter cases for Samsung phones so horrible? I bought the case for my Epic 4G Touch and S3 and they are both terrible cases. I hope they don't disappoint me on this one because I really like their Commuter case.

I'm personally waiting for reviews too. The back polycarbonate hard shells doesn't seem grippy enough. My favorite case on my Intl S2 was Case Mate's Tough Case. I'm waiting for that one to become available, if at all!

If you check my original quote, we were referring to the defender in that particular exchange.

I had a defender for my Nexus and that sucker was huge; I stopped using it. I could only imagine what the Note 2 with defender would be like. Maybe the commuter case might do the trick. I will call around to Verizon and see if they have them. Can't beat 25% off.

I had a defender on my nexus and it still wasn't that big to me lol. But I have big hands...the note 2 is finally a phone that doesn't feel too small in my hands haha

Just ordered mine from their website, can't wait to get this baby!! Couple this with my Just Like Glass screen protector and I should be well protected from bumps and drops.

The button press was so difficult on my S3 that I will pass on this case. I highly doubt they messed with the formula... plus, this price, even at smartphonepedia, is horrible compared to the competition, that I can't justify paying so much.

According to their website the black one is still out of stock. I don't know if I should keep my order or cancel it. For some reason I didnt see Out of Stock when I ordered it from their website earlier, maybe I was too excited.

for those worried about the stiffness of the buttons. I had the commuter on the s3 and after a week of use the button was fine. Alot of people got the case tryd it a few days and gave up. My gf had a commuter also and it took her bout week and a half 2 weeks for hers to loosen up but she dosent use her phone as much as me

Looking for thinnest case ?

What's the best thin case for the Note II ? I bought a couple cases at ATT store, they too thick.
I typically rock naked phones, because most cases seem to add too much bulk and thickness. I just like the feel of light thin phone.
Now if the Note II was as thin as the iPhone 5 then I wouldn't mind a Tough Case thick case. But its not, so...

I don't think so, not yet anyways. Dba cases had these ordered straight from the manufacturer. Try inquiring with them for additional case colors.

I replied to your post on the other thread. The only comments/issues seem to only involve shipping overseas. And it may be more of a customs thing than anything dba can control.

It's available in a smoky white, seen them in china for about USD 5 each.

The elago G6 Slim Fit Case for Galaxy Note 2 seems to be about as slim as you can get. I have the black one on my white phone kind of like having a tux on my phone:laugh:. The have them on Amazon....

Search up Ringke slim case. Have it on my white galaxy note 2 and its beautiful. I would have to say that the Ringke slim is the best slim case I have ever own .

If you want slim and protection... Don't get it. I've had the black one since I bought the note 2. Too many exposed surfaces. I dropped my phone and caught something nasty on the top left corner.

I've played around a cruzerlite androidify TPU case, and it was slim compared to other TPU cases I've used, so I went on and ordered it . U can give it a try,just google it.

Maybe it's just my luck, but I have 2 ringke slim cases that are not snug against the phone. When pressure applied to the side of the case, just below the volume cutout, they both make a creaking sound.

I used to have one of those elago's on my Note 1. I wouldn't recommend these slim cases at all. While they look nice if you drop your phone and it catches the edge like I did with mine. You're going to end up with a cracked screen or chipped at the very least. This is what happened to my Note. Had the elago case I dropped it caught the edge of the table on the way down and it chipped the screen. With my Note 2 I've gone with a aluminium bumper case that protectors the edges and has a decent lip. If you can find a decent slim case with a lip and covers the edges of the front glass that would be better! Samsung phones are so fragile!!

Diztronic TPU case

Anyone try this case yet? I've used them on my last 2-3 devices and I like how simple and thin they are but they do the job when I drop my phone

I have one of these on my Verizon LG G2. The case adds just enough texture to take the slipperyness of the G2 away without being big bulky and obtrusive. You also cannot beat the price.

Just got one today also.... Replaced my Spigen slim armor. The case fits well but it's slightly loose on the bottom part. I've written to Diztronic to see if I got one that was defective. Keeping it on our mow... The Slim Armor was too bulky and heavy for me

I am on my second phone (diff phones) and have stuck with these cases (2nd case). Just had the scariest drop over the weekend was drunk and bored flipping my phone in the air, bounced off my motorcycles gas tank and onto the concrete in the garage...
pulled off the case, not a dent/scratch on her..
mine also has a slight bend at the bottom.. but no biggy.

This is currently the case I'm using now. I started with Diztronic tpu cases on my galaxy nexus and it always did well. Was never afraid to drop my phone. Decided to go with it again on my g2 . You can't go wrong with this slim case, especially for the price.
