Not very loud now? - Motorola Atrix HD

Ok I know installing the beats from the market wasn't the best idea but I saw someone with a RAZR HD did it and it worked so I figures I'd give it a try. Well no brick but now everything is substantially quieter even turned up all the way.. any way to fix that?
Sent from my ATRIX HD MAXX

the beats from the market does not work on these phones.. i made a review but they removed it..
it messes up the volume and the use of the headphone mic..
only way to fix it is to reflash the firmware.. if your phone is on JB and jailbroken its pretty easy..
first safestrap it..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1995220
then download the stock jb from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066136
make a slot1 and install that stock jb i used 1gb system and 2gb data. this leaves 1.8gb of user space internal.
make a backup of slot1
then flash the backup to slot0
you can then remove slot1 AFTER you made sure slot0 boots still.
i personally left slot1 as active that way i can never mess the phone up again.

Well I'm safe strapped and it happened on my 1st ROM slot. I was hoping I didn't have to re flash it.

If you knew which files it replaced I could upload the stock ones for you... Look in the apk or zip and see what it is adding and or changing.

I don't know how to do that? Lol. But if you go to play store and search beats audio installer that's the app. It won't install it unless you tell it to. If you could help me that would be great.

Alright so what you do is use Root Explorer and go to data/app. Find the app its called com.motioncoding.beats... Extract the apk and go to the extracted folder. Open it and look at assets/system. It has added all that garbage in to your system. Honestly if you have done a backup with safestrap I would restore that. Cuz its only restoring system anyhow not data since data partition isn't supported. So you shouldn't lose any apps or data. That is if you did a backup of your rooted jellybean.

Otherwise I'll need to sit and compare my untouched files with all of these assets and see if they're just adding files in and you can just delete them or if they changed system files and you need them restored.

Or alternatively I can upload my entire system folder and let you mess with it. Just let me know what you want to do.

[Q] Bionic build.prop?

A couple of us over in the Nook Tablet forums are looking to spoof our build.props to reflect Bionic values. Would someone be so kind as to upload a stock Bionic build.prop for me please, so we have something to work with? Thanks
Sent from my CM7 Nook Tablet using Tapatalk 8)
Download a stock from and pull the build.prop file just saying.. that easy dude..

Not sure I understand. The reason I asked is because nobody over there HAS one, I figured it wouldn't be too much trouble to ask somebody here to. I've tried a search for it but came up with nothing.

i don't have time to do it but all you need to do is download a stock .893 .902 rom and i need to know waht you need if for so i make sure i upload the right one..

Worked first server listed
Thanks to Sticks for being one of the only other people keeping up with it
Edit** Remember installing things can be dangerous so do not install unless you know what youre doing. I was kind of an idiot and jumped the gun. I lost root, I am working with a couple of devs to fix that though.
Also I have checked almost every day, can I get a "thanks" for clearing my phone like 20 times? lol

Good effort! The last build I saw was the Oct 18 so again Moto has its tweak on! Let us know about the root access. I'm gonna hold off until we get root for JB. And since you're already up and running, do let us know about performance, stability and battery life.

Actually, you do need all the system apps to update. The package will search the previous installation before installing.

I was more talking about the google search not being there. Thank you for the answer though! I had heard you need them to update, but I figured since it was leaked an not final, it was as polished and ready.

Assuming you can fastboot back to ICS, here is how you get rooted on Jellybean if you are completely not rooted:
Fastboot (or RSD) the ICS Firmware for the Jellybean Leak to install on
Root normally with motofail2go by djrbliss
Install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper. Backup su AND do a Temp. Unroot.
Install Jellybean Leak
Restore root with Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
??????
Profit
Assuming you are rooted.. just start with the Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper step.
Yeah..I've been thinking on Vodoo. I guess it's the very first JB leak. Please post any bugs or issues here. Don't wanna mess much my AHD coz it's my daily phone.

Was about to do just that. I already have init.d working via my own method, so all I need to do is flash the zip. . probably best to do it on a fresh install, but I will definitely give it a go with what I have.
I would advise users to read the original threads carefully and fully understand what you're doing before installing this.

can you please share how you got init.d working? i dont wanna use any third party softwares for the swapping like script manager. I have also tried the init.d enabler method provided in the memory swap.rar & its not working might be cause it was originally made for S3.

The easiest way is by flashing Batakang ROM which already has init.d support. Then, copy the 11extsd2internalsd to system/etc/init.d. Use SManager to set it su and boot. It will work flawlessly.

The system data partition stays the same size, around 5 GB, it's just that now the extra app data will be able to be downloaded on the external SD card which some apps like games etc don't allow you to choose.
