[Q] Custom Rom back to Samsung Stock? (Without having a Backup)

Hi,
I have had different Custom Roms on my Samsung Galaxy s i9000!!
Now I have the ultimate rom on it but I want to go back to the samsung Stock rom, because I want to sell my phone!!!
But how can I get back to my Stock????
I dont have any backup!!!
Any idea or help?
Thanks
no need any backup, if you remember the build number of the rom then you can download it at samfirmware.com all SGS roms are there for download
or just tell me the build number and will give you the link
sample for build number : DXJG4 or XXJPM or ....
I don`t remeber the build number...I just know that it was andorid 2.2.1!!
Do you have any instruction how I get the stock installed on my phone? Is it the the same way like wit the custom roms or an other?
these are not custom roms they are stock rom, you can flash them by Odin go to samfirmware.com and choose your rom base on the area you live (there is a guide for decoding the build number for the locale and language) you can find tutorial for odin in xda forum
Any hint which Firmeware I should take?
2.2.1?
2.3.3?
2.3.3 is Beta .

When I have the stock rom back on my phone, can I use Kies again or do I have to unroot it?
Kies will probably be unable to match the stock rom with network providers firmware . In which case you need to spoof the firmware update .
http://www.appbrain.com/app/spooffw/com.johnan.spooffw
Kies upgrades firmware from product code firmware id and hardware ID
EG PC xxxxx O2UK Firmware xxxx O2UK Hardware XXX O2UK
Your firmware will code will not match .

Doubt on I8190L

Hello guys
I used the mini tools to root my phone.
Installed BLN kernel without any problem.
My phone is on I8190LUBAMA1 and CSC I8190LZTOAMA1
i was looking at samsung-updates.com and saw some other firmwares newer than my stock.
Is it safe to download and install the firmware I8190LUBAMG2 ? Is marked as an Mexican firmware(I live in Brazil).
Installing this new firmware, do i lose cmw, root?
Thanks
Sergio

Hi Sergio, it is safe to install the mentioned firmware, however, consider that you are going to lose CWM and root. Furthermore, as the firmware is Mexican, it contains local apps. So, if you are planning to move to this new firmware I suggest you to after do it install the cwm again through Odin and then a Custom Rom in order to get rooted again and remove those local apps. Regards
Reyesteban,
So if i install this firmware, it will update kernel and baseband, right?
Later, when i install a custom rom the kernel and baseband will be keeped from the mexican firmware?
The installation for the Mexican Firmware should be done via Odin? or i could use CMW?

The Firmware, as it is an official one, replaces kernel, baseband and even the boot screen and you just can install it through Odin. And you are right, when installing the custom rom, kernel and baseband will keep the same. However, boot, rom apps and look&feel are going to change...

My device is Brazil 1802 USA - Could i flash Indian Stock Firmware ?

My device is 1802 firmware USA - BR
Could i flash Indian firmware stock, or will brick ?
I think if yes, its solve my problem, when i try flash oreo custom roms.
I lose IMEI ever, if i flash stock indian, and put custom oreo, baseband is the same, my IMEI remains...all right ?
Or brick ?
PS: this method persist.zip not ok for me, he make me lose IMEI when i put oreo, so, not want more this method.
Thanks for attention.
