Marvel ICS is a highly customizable ROM using AROMA installer - Feel the power of your LG Optimus Black , now is all in your hands !!!
Requirements:
1. Of course a rooted LG Optimus Black P 970 (Find infos how to root here: [HOW TO]The Big N00B how-to! - nooby's thread)
2. CWM / ROM Manager / other apps with CWM or capability of flashing from zip file.
How to use:
1. Backup - use NANDROID (just in case something went wrong)
2. Copy the zip file in your SD card (copy in root folder)
3. Boot in CMW, Clear Data/cache and choose "install zip from SDCARD" or
Use ROM Manager and choose install zip from SD card.
FAQ's:
Question: Why is the ROM so huge in size?
Answer: So you can have many, many installation options to choose from.
Question: Can I install this if I have Froyo, Gingerbread or other ICS ROMs?
Answer: Yes, just do factory reset and clear dalvik cache.
Question: How can I change installation options after installing Marvel?
Answer: Install/Flash again and choose options you need, without loosing apps and data. Just cleak dalvik-cache.
You can just install/flash again and again until you decided what combinations best suites your needs.
Question: Need baseband update - having unknown baseband or trouble connecting to your local telco's network?
Answer: Go to Nooby's baseband Flasher.

You forgot the amount of customization!! Also, a recovery file manager is included. Several bootanimations, launchers, apps, tweaks, etc etc..... and the thanks was by mistake ;P

And tantrums, just a tip: can you add the wipes to the aroma installer itself? Like checkboxes? Its there in boypes cm7 .... makes it much easier.

No dude, I didnt forget the customization.. Coz I have already tried Marvel v9 before..but 471 MB is huge...My downloading speed is very slow that's why I am crying...

LG Ics is around 300 MB so that is why it becomes so much compared to GB.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today I will release the stock Jelly Bean with everything working. I was able to finish it today.
I will also like to let you know that some of my team members such as Scamus no longer have note 1.
Followed by me, this is because I will receive my Samsung Galaxy Note II on Wednesday of the next week, and so the rest of my team...
As I mentioned before, my Note 1 will remain in my family with my 16 year old son.
I would continue cooking on both devices, but humanly it is not possible for me, as you know I have a family, work and bills to attend.
This hobby is a passion for me but if it takes a lot of my time in a single device, imagine my problems if I keep cooking for both of them.
Even though my wife is very supportive, in this case she clearly told me: “2 kitchens, no way!!!”
Due to the latter, I have to tell you that the ROM I am releasing tomorrow will be my last ROM for Note 1. It is not modified but it is completely working and very fluid. My team members Ferwalnante and jaraya13 are testing it with awesome results!
From my side, it has been a great pleasure to have shared my ROMs with you, and to the ones that are moving to Note 2, you’ll be more than welcome to my ROM thread, I will be looking forward to see you there.
And when you need help that is within my scope, with great pleasure I will be willing to help you all.

it is 5*5 and also modded for note with equal spaces and you can observe in wetaher widget, which is clearly aligned to the last of the screen which was not available with earlier mods...in conclusion: the mod has been done, so that widgets and apps are spaced properly for the note

This will be my secondary rom where I will apply theming and mods (for example i´m porting 4x lockscreen for this rom) , the FOP is the main rom where I am working
Yes, the tweaks will be avaiable in FOP rom, nightly at 6 already had some tweaks mine but do not have all the tweaks, the next will have all the tweaks.

I'm not leaving the rom's ... makes sense to continue my rom "Pandroid"? No, because all my improvements in ROM will be used in the FOP rom, so I abandoned my rom.

I want to move from nightley5 to this ROM, I already downloaded nightley 6 FOP. I know there is no wipe required from nightley6 to ur ROM. Does nightley5 to 6 requires wipe? I am really trying to avoid wipe and no one officially confirmed abt wipe from 5 to 6. U r a member of FOP.. So, pls confirm

1. If you're on stock Honeycomb 3.2, please download stock ICS rom from samfirmware and flash it. Then flash custom recovery (f.e. TWRP), and then make a full wipe (system, cache, data, dalvik cache) and flash JellyBeanRom.
2. If you're on stock Ice Cream Sandwich, please reboot to recovery (if you don't have one, please flash it), wipe system, cache and dalvik cache, and flash JellyBeanRom.
3. If you're on CyanogenMod 9 or 10, please reboot to recovery, make a full wipe (system, cache, data, dalvik cache) and flash JellyBeanRom.
If you want to use some of the removed apps, you have to add the desired apk's inside the rom zip, to system/app folder. Before flashing of course. Easy, right?
For anyone that has the wifi not working issue after flashing the v7, please reflash kernel of choice (Yoda's or A1). That's the solution till I will find another one.
It can be used on any JBR version, and it can be easily configurable!
What it does? It removes all the stuff that I had removed in the lite version. For now it deletes:

How to configure the script?
Download CWM with the script, open it and copy META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to some visible place. Then open it with notepad (I recommend Notepad++).
That line represents one file that is removed (in this case it is Swype.apk):
delete("/system/app/Swype.apk");
If you want to add a file to delete, you need to know its path and full name. It can be any file, in any folder inside the file system. You can also remove any of that lines from the script if you want a file left untouched.
When you finish editing the updater-script, save it as it is without any extension, in most cases you'll just need to push Save button. Then copy the file inside the debloaters zip, copy inside your device and flash through recovery.
I did this to save yours and my time. I won't waste a lot of time for uploading lite roms, and you won't have to wait for me to do it. I think it is a good solution

You can try. But I'm not sure it will work correctly and won't give any FC's. It's a big change actually, from 3.2 to 4.0.4

Hi everybody! After making this ROM public in another forum, JesusAlber1 and I want to present all of you our first project together: SlimMania
WHY TO CHOOSE THIS ROM?
With no jokes... I think this is the best ROM for our device. First of all it is based in Official Ice Cream Sandwich, which is the most complete firmware for our device. It is not a 10 OS because it is a bit laggy and the battery drain is not allways the best.. That aspects have been fixed AND IMPROVED in this ROM. It is moreless as smooth and fast as Jelly Bean (one of the smoothest ROMS of this formum.
Battery drain in this ROM is simply AMAZING. You can test it if you don't believe it, I can ensure you will be very happy with the results.
It is a very customizable ROM, thanks to the great work JesusAlber1 has made in AROMA Startup.
We update the rom very often, so it will have the lastest mods, scripts, libs or whatever can do it better....
I advice u to test it and tell me if it is true or not.

HOW TO INSTALL
(We suppose that everybody is in .587 with a recovery installed. We don't mind if it is a ROM, a stock firmware, a custom kernel a stock one, if u are rooted or not, just flash .587 and a recovery)
Download any of the versions of the ROM and the scripts. Introduce both into the sdcard
Reboot into recovery and...:
- wipe data and wipe cache partition
- advanced: wipe dalvik cache
- mount & storage
- format /system
Install zip from SD: Select your downloaded ROM
When it finishes let it reboot and get stabilized
Open Script Manager, select root mode and select Supercharguer V6 9 RC10 script as root. My advice is to set it on the 6th mode... Use it as u want. Finally, we go to /data and we tap in 99supercharguer.sh, and we select second and third case (run as root & run at boot, like this:
[*] For the lockscreen configuration in AROMA
If we selected Xperia T lockscreen in AROMA, we will have to flash one of this two patches after the ROM starts:
- Xperia T lockscreen
- Xperia T lockscreen with screen buttons

Yes, it is true. You have to download it from the #2 POST, but the link is down,
Download it from HERE and don't forget to say thanks to zeppelinrox
Put it in the sdcard, open script manager and select it

so i flashed this rom coming from cm10
flashed lupus v8
wiped everything
and flashed zip
aroma language was the problem
did not understand a single line
so choosed default settings
rom lagged at start!!
but was very smooth after sometime
no real bugs yet
the slim mania launcher is not so good
i want the s3 launcher please
Since it was a spanish rom (at the start) I have to fix a lot of aroma things. Thanks for the feedback. The s3 launcher wasnt in aroma?

Installation (Thanks LaCroyx)
Flashing instructions:
1. Make sure you have charged your phone
2. You need a rooted phone (If you don't have a rooted phone please follow this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360)
3. Back-up all your apps and important stuff. Titanium back-up is very popular, but I myself use Go back-up which I find to be easier to use
( here is a link of go back-up: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jiubang.go.backup.pro ) I recommend the free version (Is better
Than paid version in my opinion)
4. After you have done the back-up, if done with go back-up, go to internal memory and copy the back-up data to the sd card (GOBackup folder, select allbackup and
copy this folder on your sd card)
5. Copy Energybean rom on your sd card as well
5. Reboot in recovery (If you have a 4-way reboot menu simply press power button for 3 seconds and select reboot, than reboot in recovery; If you don't have
this option go in recovery via 3 button combination: Volume up + home key + power button; just keep them pressed until the phone restarts and you see the
galaxy note logo)
Good now we are in recovery:
6. Wipe data/Factory reset
7. This step is optional and is only for those that have OCD: wipe clean install for a new rom
8. Wipe cache
9. Wipe dalvik cache
Now go to mounts and storage:
10. Format cache
11. Format system
12. Format data
13. Format preload
NOW THIS STEP IS OTPIONAL AS WELL BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS IN ORDER TO HAVE A NICE CLEAN, BUGLESS FLASHING EXPERIENCE:
14. FORMAT EMMC (THIS IS THE INTERNAL MEMORY AND YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR DATA, THAT'S WHY I RECOMMENDED SAVING EVERYTHING ON YOUR SD CARD)
15. Go to your sd card to the folder you previously saved the rom and FINALLY FLASH IT!
16. Reboot and enjoy your new rom.
If you didn't format the emmc please don't come screaming of bugs and whatnot, I personally tested flashing with and without this step and there is clearly a
difference both in smoothness, lag free and bug free.

Yes, it is multilanguage. But my extra options are in Spanish. With a little time, translate into more languages.

I like the smoothness of the rom but I prefer the original jb windows animation. I experience the energy bean animation from vk ics roms. Other than that, I like the rom. I would stay longer with the rom with the orig jb animations.

In settings/Energy Bean / Energy Store, there is a zip to remove animations and leave the originals.
hey, great to see a different jelly bean rom
and very good, you compared this rom with the note 2, very cool video.
the rom is nice ,elegant themed, i´ ll give it a try
