Did you installed the utility correctly? Try reinstalling.
I think the tool uses internal Sd card, so you have to copy the contents from your ext card to internal.
System tuner pro's folder is pwm, so take a look to a folder where some apks are stored.
This tool has a backup feature, too.
Hope to help.

I've never tried restore apps from one model to another. Only between different roms on same model. Didn't think it would even work without trouble. Maybe just the app without data, but then I guess it's even easier to just download everything again.

Hello all !
I'm new to Ace. My friend just donated it to me.
After seeing the Ace for a while, i realized it's still Froyo (2.2.1). I want to upgrade it, but i use Ubuntu (Odin can't flash firmware on Ubuntu with Wine).
But, after that i remembered Heimdall, that i use to flash my Galaxy SII.
Now, the question is, does Ace supports Heimdall and vice versa ?

Hi!
For our Ace Odin and other programms are normally just used to flash stock ROMs. In all threads of custom ROMs you will find zip files which should be flashed in CWM 5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1291327 It is much easier. But you have to do all wipes on your own.
Ace doesn't support heimdall. Go to a near by service center to get the latest firmware on your ace.

Yeah, i know about Odin. I know about stock ROM since i already own Galaxy Mini, Young, and Nexus 4. Odin can't detect phone in Ubuntu (since Wine doesn't implement USB Detecting). Will go to SSC to upgrade my firmware.

If you want a stock ROM, update using Kies. EDIT: Saw that you are using Ubuntu. Forget this.
That worked for me.
However, I recommend trying a custom ROM. That will give you Android 4.2.2 and a faster phone. Try one of these: EDIT: You won't need a computer for that.

your help will be appreciated thanks in advance.
You should try to mount usb storage using recovery connect via usb cable to a pc. If current recovery does not work then flash Philz kernel version 5 odin version Link in ori dev.

Also... read the requirements to install a KK rom. Without giving any info about the previous rom... nothing much to expect.
I accidently updated an unrooted Samsung stock ROM that shipped with the phone with cyanogen_mod
_7_tass in my attempt to root my Samsung Galaxy mini s5570 using update.zip method.
I had intended to used the "update.zip" method to root the device. But the ROM MOD instead, sadly had also been "update.zip".There was a mix up of the two files.Theres unfortunately no Clockworkmod Recovery installed. (I was quite aware of this possibility if things were to go wrong.).
My Device runs on Froyo and now is in a bootloop.
I just only want to find out if there is the slimest chance of having my device back in shape again.
Thanks a bunch in advance !
I will be happy to hear theres some hope.

You must reinstall again stock rom (programs needed: Odin, tass.ops and drivers for galaxy mini s5570). On xda you'll find step by step reverting back to stock rom your galaxy mini. Btw read carefully every step to understand those things and after you can practice. Check general section for Odin and installing stock rom.
Press thanks if helped you
am downloading .. s5570 galaxy mini firmware--- is that the same thing as stock ROM?

After a whole day of no-work and goofing around the web yesterday i figured out somthing similar but just wasnt sure ...felt i needed to search some more. then your quote dropped in my inbox. Its made a lot of my confusion clear. I have tass, odin and ops. all the programs need already. At first i could access the stock rovery mode, but using odin again to try and get Clockworkmod made matters worse. I have with a bootloop and no where close to the recover mod any more just downloading mode. So I've kept reading and reading on to find out something useful. I guess that may be the sure way getting stock rom installed back.
Now i am just downloading .. s5570 galaxy mini firmware--- is that the same thing as stock ROM?
That's it man...Official firmware is called the stock rom...

I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 i9305t. Australian version of phone, I don't know if this makes any difference or not? Android version 4.3 I9305tdvuenc1 I have rooted the phone and installed Rom Manager and tried using Rom Manager to install CWM but am having no luck. It is saying to check internet connection and size of SD card but they are both fine. Is there another way to install CWM and if so what files would I need to do this?
Help.. I've tried everything.. The original baseband or modem is XXLT4 which belongs to Germany and I live in Philippines.. I've install Bauner's Rom, Nightowl CM12 and makes the SIM functionality to not work.. I haven't made any backups because I was very confidential to install the original Rom just by that and when I install it back, Same baseband and the sim not works, any sim! I've installed my country's baseband which is DXLS8 and not even works!! I think I've locked my phone again.. Help me guys!! I've installed the original Rom by the help of the Odin.. 4.1.2 Jellybean Galaxy Note N7000 International..
If you installed original ROM and not able connect network
That would be better to check you have files in efs folder in root directory (root/efs)
If there is no files in that folder, your phone can not connect network
You need to have a backup of this folder with files at least to copy back.
Maybe someone else suggest something better
