NEW UPDATE (3 Feb) More than 110 Realize Icons -square & round - Wolfkmann

I had to recombine the original ones with all the new requests. The zip files include everything.
Please let me know what you think of the round style. If no one likes them, I won't waste my time making the round ones.

Hello,
these icons look good. I was wondering if you could make a set of news organizations icons like CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Time and newsweek magazines. I use iFonz and have a whole page that are shortcuts to different news sites. Right now I use the default internet explorer realize icon for all of them.

You may try same style but circle or elipse (vertical/horizontal) shape. I don't know how fits on phone (because i didn't saw those kind) but you may give a try. Who knows, maybe they will become more wanted/used than iphone like icons

Looking good but once BMA gives you the stamp of approval, then you know you've done something right! Has he checked these out yet?

I don't think BMA has been to this thread yet, but he has seen some of my icons already, and he has helped me out, so I truly hope he will approve.

Do you have any of these as icon files so they can be used in UltimateLaunch? I wanna see how that file cabinet looks in my theme.

Sorry, accidental oversight. .ico files for Ultimate launch have been added to the first post. I also use UL.

Not a problem. Appreciate the uploads.

Testing a theory. I made a few round instead of square. Looking for opinions.

Definitely would be a nice switch up. Maybe add a little 3d effect to it as well.

I don't know Shuizin, or his work, but I created these on my computer.

Every other device has a screen shot thread except the slide..
Why in the world did you think it was a bad thing...just a suggestion.

maybe in the future when theres more roms and themes but as of right now with the limited roms and really no themes i dont think we need one.

I agree. There are not many ROM's or Themes.. but there are different ways to go in and customize different parts by going into the framework and such. Even different wigets.. for some people this might be their first android phone so they're not sure of all the different ways to customize their phone..

I like things pretty simple. I only ever use one screen.

Christmas docks.

I like getting into the Christmas spirit around the holidays, so I love a good Christmas theme on my phone. I use LauncherPro, and I wasn't able to find any really good Christmas docks, so I did the next best thing -- made my own. I hope you like them!

Awesome looking docks - I've been using a snowy background with the falling snow live wallpaper, so these will match *perfectly*.
Now if only we can get some freakin snow in Texas - it's freakin 74 degrees outside today. #mothernaturefail

this is awesome! meshes well with my current christmas theme =]

The dockbar icon for other launchers like adw is "dockbar_bg_normal.9.png" and lives in the "land" and "port" folders. (as described here)

You can either navigate to this thread from your phone, and save the images to your phone's SD card. Or download them to your computer and transfer to your phone via USB.

Wow this clock is awesome, thanks! I kind of feel stupid paying for Beautiful Widgets or whatever now.
One thing- when the phone is held in landscape mode, the widget has a basic(non-Christmas) theme.
Edit: I extracted the .apk and it looks like you just haven't changed the pictures for clock_add_weather_base.png in the /res/drawable-land and /res/drawable-land-hdpi folders. I'd fix it but I don't know how to compile an apk

I download it and all, i really like it coz its in 3d an dhas that depth from time figurs, trees and the fence BUT its just extreamly disturbing coz its static! it looks like its a screenshot from a original that has animated snow falling over the trees and time :/ its just begging to be animated!

I totally agree with you. I was working on a few skins of my own and was wondering if it would be possible to create an animated base rather than it just being static. If the snow actually did fall in this one, that'd be even more spectacular than it already is.

Question How to create own super wallpapers.?

I am a pro 3D artist azeemdesigns.com and one of the purchasing decisions for this phone (11T) was super wallpapers. I really really liked them. Now i am kind of bored with them. There are only 6. And xiaomi isn't adding new.
If someone could explain the process of adding and coding them to the phone. I'll be happy to develop new wallpapers.

I don't think its possible to insert your own. Superwallpapers are rendered locally on the phone, they're not just regular video wallpapers.
However, maybe you could give video wallpapers a shot
(PS I would be interested if you somehow managed it to work)

There are some apks available for super wallpapers. Those are ports for other phones. I was checking them and yes positioning is mentioned in code. But i did find some pictures (maybe preview pictures). Or maybe existing pictures are being moved based gestures and sensors. Need to dig deep.

Good luck dude. Sounds like you already know more about this then me.

There an app called CWLP Custom WallPaper
It's been made for customizing wallpapers and you can literally create super wallpapers but not in the high quality as xiaomi do
I think some one with experience in inversing engineering maybe can know how it works
