Anyone lacking these two in their settings menu?
I figure they might just be a feature not yet included in the nightlies yet, or that I'm just using a release without them...

yeah, i flashed one of the nightlies yesterday and wanted to set the background process limit but was unable to find the dev options in the settings, guess the nightlies don't have those features

New XDA Premium Android App Released!
For a while now, we've been working on a premium version of the extremely popular XDA Android App (which has been downloaded half a million times). The premium version, now on sale for just $0.99, removes the ads, plus brings the following enhancements that the free app does not have:
+ Ability to collapse top bar to maximize screen real estate
+ Access to Legacy forums
+ Ability to add forum shortcuts to your Android homescreen for super quick access to your favorites
+ Custom XDA color scheme (changeable to default through Settings)
+ Choose whether to land on first post, last post, or first unread post within a given thread
+ Bug fixes to enhance speed
If you want to try it out (and if you hate it, Android Market lets you get a full refund within 15 minutes), search the market for "XDA Premium".

I like it better than the free version.
The default colors match the website.
It seems more responsive and maybe that's just perception, but it also doesn't have to grab the ads, either.
Choosing where to start when the app first loads is great.
Choosing where to start when reading a post is nice, too.
But...
The number one feature of the premium app is just supporting XDA, which has provided this great environment for us.
I got it just to support xda. Differences are minor but nice.

I just purchased the premium app to support xda but aside from the theme its no different than free version. I don't see any ads in the free xda app, do you guys?
most custom roms have ad blocking built in.
also the xda premium is suposed to allow you to make shortcuts on the desktop but it doesnt work for me.

Don't forget about the shortcut feature. If you long press a forum (as example) it gives you an option to put a shortcut on the desktop.

I too just installed the premium app to support xda, but I like the dark theme in the free version as it will help conserve battery. Is there a way to have the dark theme (black background with white text) on the premium app too?

I found an apk for this, but it tells me "An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed." So it is already on our device. The only question now is how do we access it. So if adolfo778 will let us know how to access it that would be greatly appreciated.

From any 3rd party launcher go to shortcuts then activities and it should be com.Qualcomm

Thanks for responding back. I gave this a try and sadly it didn't work. I checked it off and plugged it into my computer and it still connects via MTP and there is no option for USB mass storage. I then thought that it may need a reboot, but that didn't work either. It just resets it to disabled. I'm going to give it a try in my car tomorrow morning. I'll let everyone know if it works.

It must be hidden in build.prop. Anyone who backup build.prop from ICS,please attach it here. I'm using Batakang ROM now. I saw there's settings in aditional build properties such as :
ro.usb.mtp: 0x2e32.
It should work if we can add value for ums.

Lol great minds think alike. some features like tilt scrolling, floating windows or maybe a spit screen browser, and the video player like in cams last rootbox build, add a playstore opion on the launcher, add the new s-voice, leave Google search optional and not an system app since I find useless via bluetooth at the moment does the same thing as voice dialer, an alarm clock widget, and that cell broadcast feature. would be awsome.

1 full day in no game lag out (hill climber race) Bluetooth phone works flawless.... Audio streaming works well, but when you start a song you get a split second of static then plays music. Had that Google search fc'ing but as I put in my other post easy fix.
I have not flashed bytecode's kernel or used any of the scripts (like v6 super charge or x-breeder) I will post later if and what effects I notice afterwards.

First, it appears that ProBam has been pulled. No idea why, probably a dev pissing contest again.
Second, I don't have any WiFi issues with any of the 4.3 builds. I'm running the 4.3 version of Beanstalk right now and WiFi works just fine. I have also run ProBam and CM 10.2 versions by DHacker and Skrillax without any WiFi issues. I also only run them with the included kernels, not aarrgggh or whatever.

I'm not running10.2 right now, but have you gone to the setting and tried to change it? I believe the setting for this would be under advanced, but I can't be sure. Actually, I don't know if CM even has a black bar feature!
Looks like you may be stuck with the notexactlyonbuteversoslightlyabovethelogotoaccessmenu feature.
When I was running CM, I thought the menu key was very convenient and just takes a little getting used to.
