Try flashing without wiping data, set local prop to insecure first and hopefully you'll be able to reroot with the emulator hack.

Odin is for Samsung phones.. FlashTool is for Xperia. But, if you flash via FlashTool, yes you will lose root and apps.

well if you flash the whole ftf of course it will work becuse you will be back on the last firmware..but if you want to saty on the new firmware, then yes, flash the kernel...

yup..its possible since its stock kernel by sony..i been doing this couple time with my previous device..its fine, :good:..but, anything u dne wrong, dont blame me..

u will het official updates no prob. i believe only installing a custom kernel would stop u getting official updates. sumone please correct me if i'm wrong.

This is my understanding too. Bear in mind that as soon as official updates are released a developer here will make it available on xda. This means you often get updates before you would normally (because they are rolled out at different times depending on carrier and region).

Once you install CWM, you can deodex your stock firmware without any problem :good:

The update is only for c5302 Sp models.... If you update your c5303 modern with .284 you will lose 4g connectivity but not much else.

1-you can extract the zip file and install the kernel.elf by fastboot mode
or
2-install the zip file by cwm from any other roms (like 4.1) then install ftf file by flashtool with excluded kernel

Then you need to create your own tft(you don't want but there is no other way) or wait doomlord to release an exploit
If you share your ftf I can create a Pre rooted one for you. Will take a few hours tho.. I have more to do

Both PCC and SEUS now points to the same folder/files for updating, so either way is fine

If you just download it and remove phone before it starts flashing it wont. And you can use PCC I see.
