For anyone who is looking for spare wall charger, Samsung finally has 2amp wall charger listed under galaxy note 2 accessories.

$39.99 but with 50% off = $19.99+tax & shipping.
You could always go with eBay "oem" charger for cheaper price but for me it didn't work out well (it kept on charging USB mode). I rather get genuine samsung charger directly from Samsung, it gives me peace of mind knowing if anything goes wrong it's covered under warranty and it is from Samsung

ive seen some on amazon for 10-15$ there the real oem
I got the OEM white one off Amazon, if you match up the logos and writing on the back of the charger they do look slightly different and for some weird reason it came with a free no name pen no idea why but the charger does work just as good as stock, I can play gta and it will still charge.
It's not much of a travel charger if you can't change its heads.

I actually sent the oem samsung charger I got from ebay to Samsung and they sent me brand new one. Since it is "oem" I figure I give it a try.

I found this on ebay a few days ago but havent seen anyone post it up yet. They're going for about 40 bucks on ebay with a couple sellers. One thing i've noticed though is that there is no NFC chip on the battery cover. Still looks nice though!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Battery-Back-Case-Cover-Samsung-Nexus-S-Android-/250797404974?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a64b0b32e
Odd that the nfc is crippled. Are these from Samsung or some knockoff manufacturer?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
if it comes from china/HK, it's most likely fake
its a knock off probably, and most likely just for a replacement. No NFC isnt a deal breaker for me, but then again i dont need one anyways, just posting it in case anyone else wanted one
Btw, does anyone know is the battery cover identical in I9020 and I9023?
i have two of these, just picked them up, alot cheaper than what they have on ebay, i cannot say its a copy or what, the shop claims it's a limited edition, but it fits on the nexus s just the same as the original item, and the cover looks identical with all serial numbers and markings and the quality and material is the same, it just has a metalic glossy coating with cute android robots.

JUST ODER It...KNOW MY PHONE LIMITED EDITION
... SERIAL NUMBER ALMOST SAME JUST LAST 2 NUMBERS ANOTHER.
PLUS SAME MATERIAL AND I THINK EVEN BETTER QUALITY
The Nexus S I9020 SUPER-AMOLED is smaller than the Nexus S I9023 (S-LCD) I think.. (~2mm)
So, the Battery Back Case Cover is for the I9020(a) or I9023
Does anyone know where to buy battery cover for I9023?
the case does not fit, there was a time that is was gonna swap my original cover with one of my friends (samsung promotor), since his was only a working model for ppl to play around in shops it was new, unlike mine all scratched on the battery lid, as my phone was purchased second hand.

direct from samsung, or see if ebay has them, i mean the nor version, the android version has not been made for the i9023.
i've sold my last one, i will try to get more if it's available on the 8th may.
Do they have the NFC stuff in them? If so, count me in!
hahahah....
i got this battery cover with my nexus s straight out of the box ;p
so i do have the REAL limitet edition of the nexus S xP
and i do have the NFC in the batt cover.
though it scratches pretty fast.i actually dont recommend it at all
how's the price for each like?
White Nexus S is for sale, so the white replacement cover should come soon.
When it does we should buy a few so we can get it cheaper!
anyone knows where to get those limited edition back covers from? for the nexus s 9020
Still looking for one of these =/
A month ago I upgraded from a Note I (GT-N7000) to a Note II LTE (GT-N7105) and love the numerous improvements.
I decided to try wireless charging but I have to admit this was one aspect where my expectations were quite small. I'm pleased to say that I was wrong and that it is a real benefit. I bought the very cheapest combo of Qi charging pad and Note II module that I found on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251781820...49&var=550705264808&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT It cost me £6.08 which is a about $10 US or €9. The module fits between the battery and the phone's cover. I use a Samsung Flip Case Cover and it closes over the phone as normal with no bulges or fit problems. The pad is specified to output 1A and the module for the phone claims 800 mA. I didn't measure them but after a few days I find the claims believable (I have an extra genuine Samsung battery and previously had been swapping batteries and using a small battery charger with 1A output).
The pad itself is shiny plastic and so the phone, with its similarly shiny plastic back, can easily slip from it. I applied my giant brain to the problem and considered building a small cage from plastic or wire, or perhaps enclosing the pad in some kind of box. Then I had a couple of beers and remembered I already have some 2cm x 2cm velcro (hook+loop) fastener pads and some scissors. I snipped some tiny strips, so 2cm x 4mm, and applied them to each side of the charge pad and in the equivalent positions on the back of the flip case. Perfect and unobtrusive.
The battery charges really fast, the phone is both secure on the pad and quickly removed. No more dicking about with cables! Thank you ebay and China :good:
My qi charging max 460ma and note 2 getting very warm.
My QI Setup!
This is my QI Charger:

How much time does it take for a full charge?

It takes a while...I charge it at 900mA (475mA default) ie half the AC charger rate. But a wireless charger is not meant for charging battery drained phones. They're meant for keeping your phones fully charged all the time by topping it up.
Just ordered one of these today for $22.99 from Samsung. It seemed like a good price for a USB 3.0 having a USB and micro usb.

Too late for me as I already ordered the 64gb, but that would be a great deal with the $5 off as it would only be $8.99 making that a good deal.

This one works good around the house, but I want the more sturdy Samsung one for more portable usage.

The Samsung is a very tight fit with the case on my note 5. Fits my note 3 with its case a little better. It's smaller and higher quality than i had expected. Neither are good for a Keychain, a couple old micro sd card adapter cases work ok though.

Got mine also, seems to sit a little cockeyed with my tech21 case on, otherwise it's great. Very fast in the PC USB 3.0 spot also. I will have to do a speedtest later.
Can I hop on the $5 off code also? Plan on ordering Friday.

Sorry the Samsung pricing on amazon is constantly changing and has gone way up. You can still get the 64 from samaung at a good price. If you want one from amazon it has to be sold by and shipped from amazon for the $5 off $10 code to work. I don't have these two but both qualify for the discount if you want 32gb for under $10.

- 3Pack USB C to USB 3.0 Nylon Braid cable(1M*2+2M):
- 6 ports QC 3.0 charging station
- Stand fast wireless charger
*** Just as an FYI. I tested all of these with my S8+. I ordered my Note 8, but like everyone else... Its on the way.
We can start with the Nylon Cable. Quality of it is great. Its actually braided and does work with fast charging. I have noticed there are a few aftermarket USB-C cords that do not support this regardless of the power brick used. I tried this with my Samsung power brick and the CHOETECH Desktop charger.
What I really liked is that this is a thick cord. Everything on this actually feels like quality.
On to the Charging Station... This one makes me happy. At work, my desk has all of my cables hidden for my multiple monitors, docking station and phone line. I do have two desktop plugs but I use one for my extra laptop and the other has to be shared for my 2 tablets and 2 phones. I brought the charging station to work and it did not disappoint.
There are 2 designated ports that allow for 3.0 charging. I have one tablet and one phone that use that. When plugged in at the same time, both said fast charging enabled. Here are the specs on this one.
Even though for some, this may not be a big deal, I actually like the stand. I don't have a place to hide this 6 USB brick, so it still looked presentable. Best part, this came with a USB-C cord. VERY cool.
Finally the Wireless Stand. I didn't get to play with this one as much as I wanted to but it was awesome. I had it on my charger for less that 20 min and had 30% juice from 15% up to 45%.
Even though I was fortunate enough to receive these from CHOETECH, I will always give my honest review on these. You're definitely getting your money's worth on these three items. Now if my Note 8 can arrive, I will update my photos with that phone.

Listing says 4mm or thinner will work.
Having tried various wireless chargers in my 3 cars, I have ended up with Samsung's own offering. Although not the cheapest, it provides more reliable charging and - most importantly for me - I don't get any interference on FM radio, which has been a problem with most of the others that I have tried.
However, having worked faultlessly with my S7 Edge and my S8+, it seems that they won't charge my new Note 8 and the Samsung web site doesn't seem to list a wireless car holder/charger for the Note 8. (The phone charges fine on my non-car wireless chargers, so it's not a phone or case issue).
Before I start looking for alternatives, does anybody have the Samsung car wireless charger working with their Note 8?
It's this one:

I believe this is the same Samsung Qi charger I modified to use in my cars. It has the little button on the back that releases the side arms.
I cut off the base about an inch from the swivel and used JB Weld to glue it on to the proper Proclip mount for the car. I am not sure if you can obtain Proclip bases over in the UK. I hardwired them to an accessory power source or plugged them into a accessory on cigarette lighter socket. Seems to charge the N8 ok.
It works perfectly except it is not fast charging capable.
Here is a picture of one installed.
Thanks.
The plot thickens. When the phone is naked, it charges OK in the Samsung car charger, but when it is in a case - I've tried a Spigen Tough Armor and a Spigen Slim Armor - it doesn't charge, so obviously the problem is with the case.
What confuses me is that the phone charges with no problem on various other non-car Qi chargers (I have quite a selection) when it's in either of the cases, and also that both of my previous phones (S7 Edge and S8+) have no problem charging in the car charger while in their Tough Armor cases.
Anyway, I'm off to start reading threads about which is the best case to buy. On the one hand it's a shame, as I've always got on really well with the Spigen Tough Armor cases. On the other hand, it's a lot cheaper to buy one new case rather than three new car holder/chargers
