When coming from CM10 can I simply install an ICS kernal and flash this ROM?
I have done this before going between CM10 and ICS ROMS without issues, however when trying to do this on this ROM I get a bootloop.

so, i wonder, is it possible for other ROM to include it too?
or can it be presented as a MOD for me to flash it myself?
those traditional chinese keyboards on Market are simply not as good as the stock one.

About Revolution ICS HD
When the ICS update of all Xperia 2011 series was rolled out by sony, everyone was happy as it brought a new interface and features to our devices. But after sometime, a few days, our devices started to lag due to all the bloatware that sony's 4.1.B.0.587 fw had and its bad ram management was also a problem for the heavy apps and games. At that time i decided to make a ROM which fixes our devices and remove all the bugs. Hence, Revolution ICS HD™ was born! This rom is based on stock 4.1.B.0.587 fw and is totally bloatware free! The system apps are from Xperia T. Revolution ICS HD™ brings new features to our old devices! Revolution ICS HD™ is optimised in such a way so that our devices can run on its full potential! Lags and freezes are history! The rom also has a good amount of battery up time..

F.A.Q.
1. Why are there no Xperia Widgets in Xperia T advanced launcher?
-- Because its a modded apex launcher hence no support for Official Sony Widgets! But you can use apex, Go, adw etc themes from playstore in it!
2. Why is RAM a bit Low than build 1 but higher than beam in sonic?
-- Higher than beam cause i built sonic from build 1 ! Lower than build 1 cause the small apps occupy RAM!
3. Why is lockscreen switcher not working for me??
-- You need to disable onscreen buttons for it to work!
4. Why is There only one default theme when i selected all 3 in aroma?
-- You can select only one!! If u select more than one you will have the last one which u selected!

Installation Instructions [ Unlocked Bootloader ]1. Download the rom and your device patch from downloads and put them in SD Card
2. Flash Doomkernel v22 using fastboot
3. Boot into recovery
4. Wipe Data/factory reset
5. Go to advanced-Wipe Dalvik Cache and go back
6. Go to Mounts and Storage-Format /System and go back
7. Flash the rom and device patch and wifi modules
8. Reboot And Enjoy the Dual Core Xperia Arc And Arc S

i will test and tell you if it works and the battery life also

if you are on ics locked bootloader just flash gb ftf
root install cwm and follow instructions on 1st post!

1. U need to flash the stock gb kernel using flashtool just flash stock gb rom and u get the kernel too...
2. I think it will as its a stock based rom as much i know..... all stock based roms whether ics or gb work on both locked/unlocked bls

would really like if there is an add-on to make the icons(app icons, status bar icons, etc) back to stock Xperia.
IMHO, it doesn't look good to combine vanilla android with Xperia UI.

Do I need WiFi modules for the Fxp kernel?
Nope. Unless your coming from Fusion and had it's modules installed. Then you'd have to reflash the rom in order to have working WiFi with the Fxp kernel
Using Fusion Kernel I get reboots occasionally?
This is a known problem with Fusion kernel. Usually a clean installation will fix this but if you can't be bothered with that, try LuPus.
I'm having problems installing?
Make sure you are using the latest fusion kernel and wiping /system before flashing.
But if all else fails, This will always work
Any battery saving tips? What CPU settings?
In both screenshots in the OP, I used these tips:
1. CPU - 184 ~ 1200mhz InteractiveX with Deadline is optimal for daily usage on the Xperia Arc S.
2. Screen - If you watch your battery stats, you will know that the screen is always the biggest drainer (unless you hardly ever use your phone and keep it in a sock drawer). Decreasing screen brightness and timeout will help lots.
3. Data - As with all Android phones, data usage is a heavy drainer. Whenever you are not in need of internet or are connected to WiFi, turning off data will help greatly.
Can I install with a locked boot loader?
Sorry, no. But unlocking your bootloader is very easy and gives many benefits. Here's a guide on how to do it
I flashed xLoud but there isn't a switch in settings for it!
I am not at the level to edit settings.apk in such an advanced way. So therefore, after flashing xLoud, it is always enabled.

Coming from cm10 AOKP m1 r2 wiped everything and got status 7 error when installing. Bad zip or something else?
Sounds really good. But, does it retain the Bravia Engine and XLoud? And you seem to have downgraded the camera from 8 mpx to 6 mpx. How does that fare? Do let me know.

Some known issues :
Launcher forgets sd card apps
Just that do not expect great battery life as 3.4 kernel isn't the best for battery. The rom is also my daily driver and i can get a days usage..I will not lie to any of you to brag about my rom..

Yes i know dropbox has limitation . But my connection is poor and was continuously failing on dev-host. I was hoping for someone to make a mirror . but guess no one is doing it. I am trying re uploading and hopefully it'll be done.
Touch Screen
I would really like to try your this great ROM, but I worry that I'll faced the touch-screen-not-functioning problem as in SJB... I tried to find solutions but someone ( sorry I forgot who ) in this forum told me that 2011 series Xperia phones will have such problem (touch screen problem) if the custom ROM is not based on stock ROM...

i had camera fc problem and i solved by clearing data and reboot... another think, i miss the cm10.1 menu where we can modify status bar toggles coz i really need some function on it like 3G/2G toggle, torch toggle.... any way to get this without losing this fantastic rom?

Nope, opitional. However it is very recommended (improve wifi and fix a few wifi issues)

Sorry, but no... But it is very simple to unlock your bootloader
I am having bootloop(stuck on logo)
(Wait for 10 mins before concluding that you are having bootloop)
Reflash rom again through cwm or flash stock firmware.via flashtool(firmware at download section)
And, did you do a clean install. You wont have bootloop if u did full wipes
Any battery saving tips, cpu settings?
-3g/wifi/bluetooth/... - turning off them when not in use will save some battery
-Screen- lower your brightness and decrease screen timeout, it will help alot
-CPU- recommended governor (interactiveX, daily use)(smartass v2, multitasking)
keep in mind that overclocking higher will increase performance but drain battery
underclocking lower will result in some lags but increase battery life
-Task manager- I added in the samsung stock task manager for you guys to use
Try not to download other taskmanager as it will be stored as background apps and consume battery
Why did you add in bravia engine 2? It consumes battery...
I am fully aware that it consumes battery guys Theres a few reasons...
-bravia engine 2 will boost video/pictures quality up to another level:good:
-It make your pictures, videos games look nicer
-Also increase gaming performance
(i also added X-reality engine, better than Bravia engine 2)

Yess:laugh:, of course. Sony Clear Audio+ is added in this rom to boost music performance/quality.
Sony Clear Audio+ is a software that is somewhat similar to an equalizer
Whats more, IT IS AN AUTO EQUALIZER, that works flawlessly, without draining battery
or consuming much ram like other ordinary equalizer!!! There is also xLoud, Sony Clear Bass+...
What is xLoud?
xLoud is a volume booster(make sound louder), that also increase sound quality.
However, it might cause FC from some apps like Poweramp/ and some other music players.
I am having issues with this rom
If there is any bugs/problems/issues/room for improvement, please tell me, i will try to fix it or make it better on the next updates:laugh:
Which kernel do you use?
I use kernel fusion 5.5, in the download section,
but since fusion doesn't support 720p (HD) recording,
you can try fxp kernel or lupus kernel(not tested by me though)
but use fusion for optimum performance:cyclops:

You can edit the build.prop(delete the line which have 'bravia engine 2' on it
I will probably delete it for the next update(drain too much battery juice)

Awesome Rom with awesome performance and looks , it has the best battery life in all the jb roms here even with be2 activated so great job man
Suggestions:
1- add walkman as the music player (with xloud) ,
2- usb mass storage mod ,
3- theme the ( circle battery with petcentage ) to be white ,
4- add the transparent toast and blue background as addons so we r not forced to use them
5- add small apps if it's possible
6- black mms.apk its more themeable and looks nice with xperia theme (i can upload if u cant find it)

720p works flawlessly. 4.3 camera with working camacorder/paranoma... Well Fusion 5.5 is the latest, try it. Radio fm is working(im dont listen to radio though) Just download and flash the gapps at the download section^^

Fake 720p recording with superb quality. 720p recording only if kernel is supported(try lupus)(but use fusion for optimum performance)
