My girlfriend accidentally dropped her Note and after couple of hours she noticed a red circle on the screen.

She says it's getting larger by days and we have no clue what this could be.
Probably this could be LCD problem.

Can someone confirm this and what do you suggest us to do?
Here is the update, few days later.
Does anybody have any clue what is wrong?
Definitely seems to be a hardware problem with the screen. It needs to be replaced . looks like something is leaking away.

Ok so the other day I dropped my Kaiser a couple days ago and now the screen feels really loose when the screen isn't open. I don't think anything cracked inside.
Is there any way to fix it? I'm thinking about opening it up to see if there's anything I can do. The phone still works fine, but it's bothering me Has any one else had this problem before?
Thanks
Duct Tape can do wonders.....

Same issue here, feel my LCD loose. Any solution ?
I didn't drop it and i only bought it less than 2 months.
take it back.
So I opened it up today and found out that the loose part was the sliding part here: http://www.pdacenter.ru/images/htc_p4550_kaiser_060.jpg
Is there anyway to tighten it?
Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:

Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?
Hello all,
Its been few weeks since I have that problem on my 4X, the middle of touchscreen is not working, and my 1 year warranty is over, I will replace the faulty part by myself but I don't know if the problem comes from the touchscreen itself or the motherboard.
Here is the problem (you can see the touchscreen zone not working):

The link is broken. Try uploading it again .
I think it is hard to say unless someone had the exact same problem...
Based on my modest experience I assume that if mobo was faulty the screen wouldn't work at all
and/or would have also other problems rather than just that
To me it personally looks like changing touch would solve, but it's pure guessing
I agree with @Rudjgaard here. Based on guessing, I think you need to change the touchscreen.

Any one know if a fried note 4 motherboard can be replaced? I'm talking a board that's had a pretty big hit slight burn marks in 4 places very small but burnt black all the same. I was going to try just replacing just the motherboard but I'm thinking will the other parts work ie camera etc...?

Replace the motherboard, the other components are probably still good but there's no guarantee.

In the application you are installing,
try to remove them in order

There's no picture. If it started suddenly it must be from something you installed recently. So it really can't be that difficult to locate it.
