For me: SVA rom v5.1,

Ultimate or BurtROM for me. No problems with either. Great performance and awesome battery.

Hi,
IMHO all JBs have horrible battery life. So I went back to ICS for stability, smoothness and battery life.
My rom of choice is CHRACK's ICS LRQ

Stock ICS 4.0.4 with speedmod kernel lol.

Stock ICS 4.0.4 with speedmod kernel lol.

[Q] Best rom for battery performance?

Whats ur idea best rom for having more battery life?

Vanilla. I can get 3 days on moderate use. But I don't think that's what you wanted to hear.

Try this with speedmod and compare it to others. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722038
I'm happy with battery life on cleanote... its a no-frills tw-based stock performance rom, so if you don't like touchwiz or want lots of mods, it may not be your preference. But if clean stock is to your liking, you'll find it smooth and efficient.

Where can I download notecore V12?
would u like to upload it for me

the general impression is that kernels tame/ saddle the rom but Kingdroid v 7.1/ 7.4 , this is one rom that tames and saddles all kernels ,
choose CF root kernel in aroma for root and then switch to speedmod for battery and safety

seriously. RocketROM with Notecore. give as much battery time your grandsons will use it
btw ive been following rocketrom with notecore since its merging. instead of v12 use the latest version of hydracore 13.1b its latest version of notecore yet and is heavenly

I'm currently using the latest version of KingDroid now (I can't say much on RR as I've read numerous reports of people having problems migrating from RR to CM10, but that's on a different topic already), my kernel is still HardCore's SpeedMod. Though it may lack the performance it delivers on my phone, but I am fairly satisfied on the battery life that it gives out.

[Q] Recommended ROM

What is the Recommended Rom for save battery life??????
If you are really concerned about a good battery life, then go for stock firmware or stock based roms. Such as Jana rom.
I use Jana rom and the battery life is quite good.

[Q]Which TW rom is best

I knew that only TW rom can use the S Note. Are AOKP/CyanogenMod better than the TW rom?
Are there any other differences between both? Which TW rom is best and supports HydraCore or any other OC kernel?
Sorry for my poor grammer and English. Thx
its on personal preference
most of the two roms works with hydracore and can be oc or uc

[Q] Safest-best- kernel+rom for note gt-n7000?

Hello. i want to sure not to mess with my father's not rooted galaxy note gt-n7000 so my questoin maybe lame but i had a bad experience rooting gs2 and without
i need to know what is the best and the safest kernel for the note. and best custom rom 4.1.2 based on touchwiz
i alredy downloaded Kernel_CM10.1_20130320_n7000_CWM.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789397 this will work fine ?
Thank you
If you flash that kernel you will have boot loop for sure that is a cm10.1 ROM kernel not touchwiz. And you have to be rooted to flash. I don't mess with toichwiz to much I use a cm10.1 ROM I build my self and theme my self but in the terms of kernels for touchwiz look into philz kernels they are safe and I do believe they can be flashed from stock recovery and will root the phone. As for ROMs they are all safe. JUST DONT FLASH ANY ROMS FROM STOCK ICS KERNELS. and also if you look into the how to root part of the ROM forum you will find a lot of info. Then just research the different ROMs to see which one is right for your use.

thanks for the info.. :good: ill do more reading .. i dont wanna mess things up..
hope PhilZ Touch will do the work
for TW JB there are only 2 kernels .. .Philz and Speedmod JB
Go for Philz, Best one (My experience) You will get good benchmark results, better battery life. Good rooted phone.

Yeah, for TW JB the best option is Philz kernel and Speedmod kernel. I myself prefer Philz Kernel. Suit yourself with one of both of them..
Any recommendations regarding custom rom? Touchwiz with good battery life 4.1.2

You would have to try them your self, all Rome differ and also depends on your use but tw in general is not to battery friendly IMO that's why I use cm ROMs very battery friendly
