Hello,
I own an incredible s since two years and i have changed the rom several times but yesterday i wanted to try a new one and after doing everything as usual, when the telephone rebooted, i only got the first screen with the HTC logo and then another screen with the rom's logo but nothing more. It stucks. I let it load for more than an hour and nothing. Can someone please help me?
And i'm srry for the bad english.
If you have unlock bootloader or not you have to enter this command on cmd while your device on fastboot mode. Enter this fastboot flash boot boot.img then wipe all the data / cache and you done. Hope it works. Some rom need s-off and unlock bootloader but some don't

First, thank you for helping me so fast . Well, my device is S-off. I don't know if its bootloader is unlocked. What is cmd? How can i access fastboot mdoe?

Its hard for me to explain. I can't speak english very well. Power off your phone after that take off the battery and then plug in back then preas volume down and power on key at the same time. Now you at the bootloader. Check it if it locked or unlocked.

You have stated that you are S-OFF. What method did you use to gain S-OFF? Also which custom ROM were you trying to install?

As tpblake said, what method did u use to achieve S-OFF. It is essential to know cuz then tbplake (mind you this guys a freakin genius when it comes to this stuff) can help

Guy, good news, IS is now rooted by YuHong of GoAPK.
i just installed it, and confirmed it have a working SU.
you will need to install the custom modded recovery, and then you can install his rom.
it is based on the official 1.38. and it have a english locale available.

Disable fastboot in ur settings and shut down ... Or pull out the battery ... Then hold volume down for a whioe and press the power buttoj for a ssecond or two ... It will say s-on or of in the first or second line

You could also just use SuperOneClick to get root.
Just used it, worked great (once you are S-OFF)

I think you are my last chance, I have this very specific problem with my Nexus One and can't find any thread on any forum that can help after hours of research:
It's rooted and I have CM7 but after a choc (I thing it's the cause) it reboots and now it's stuck in bootloop.
It happens to me once and i fixed it by flashing with fastboot.exe (i was very lucky this time) but it doesnt work anymore and i don't know why.
My power button is broken so I can't unlock bootloader, I have S-ON and I have read that it can be a problem to use fastboot to flash (I have an error message in the command prompt like this: FAILED: remote not allowed)
If i write "fastboot devices" my Nexus one is recognized so I don't understand why it doesnt work...
If you have any suggestions I take it with pleasure!

I have the same problem, I also tried all the command for Fastboot and got me no where.
My problem started when I install Darktemor(If I spelled it right) A2SDGUI and press something for Dalvik and Cache, my phone reboots and got stuck at bootloop forever. I searched the entire net for tutorials, and I tried almost everything and still no luck.
I always have this error code at Fastboot:
"FAILED <remote: not allowed>"
PLEASE! Someone help me, I want to fix this on my own. 'Cause it'll cost me a lot if I have someone fix it for me. Please, i'm begging. Help me. Huhuhu

By putting the µSD in another (working) phone and connect it to the computer, or by using a µSD adapter which also must be connected to the computer.
It finaly works, after many month i can finaly use my Nexus One... Now it's my new Desire S that have a problem :laugh:

I have copied the PASSIMG.zip to the SD card, but how can I mount it in bootloader when the power button is broken?

Just make sure you get the HTC One recovery and not the N4.. based on your lack of knowledge, based on your multiple questions, I would hold off a bit though.. as far as I know there isn't a confirmation as to if the recovery from the normal One is compatible with the GE One. I could be wrong though

Thanks. I guess I'll hold off. I figured there had to be some custom files and that they arent all plug and play. Thanks for your help. I'll prob wait a couple weeks. I just wanted to do it immediately to avoid having to wipe again.

You don't need to wipe for a recovery. When you get the device and its good to go, go into fastboot and type
"fastboot oem unlock"
Then after you unlock it reboot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset.. then hold off for recovery. Once your unlocked you no longer are required to wipe for anything

Rooted using a combination of instructions. Pleased to say it worked. Only problem I have had so far is that on one occasion it told me I was not rooted, when in fact I was. A reboot fixed that problem.

Looks like I have root, but it seems like after some time of the phone being on, it loses root access and I have to reboot in order to regain root access. Any ideas?

I see error (error: cannot load 'unlock') refet the attachment
What shall i do now to get it fixed

I was able to complete all the steps ,After copying the zip folder , using fast boot the phone says entering recover mode phone turned off unable to see that Team win recover project screen anything i have missed let me know .

I tried to upgrade software .the phone restarted and entered tarp and couldn't upgrade it further.
Curious to know why can't we update it.
Can we upgrade the software by any other alternative way or just use the existing one ?

When it tells you to update, don't listen to it. Instead, download a rom (which is based off the new update) from the Android Development section, copy it to your SD card and install it with TWRP. Be sure to factory reset before you do

To update via OTA you must be on the stock recovery. Custom recoveries will not install OTA. Best bet is to run RUU as mentioned.

you recieved an email with the unlock code, correct put it in the directory where fastboot is. your phone should be in the bootloader, type fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin>enter( i think this is right, please check and make sure of command line)

Hello Guys,Here Are the steps to ROOT htc desire 626x(a32_ul).
step1:unlock the boot-loader from this link:www.htcdev.com
step2ownload the TWRP from this link:http://www.mediafire.com/download/nehfx8ukicnik9e/twrp-2.8.0.0-a32_ul.img
step3:download the Super user from this link:http://www.mediafire.com/download/758rt4gxcndmmn5/a32_ul-SuperSU-v2.52.zip
and copy it in your SD card.
step4:flash TWRP recovery From fastboot. steps to flash from the fast boot are:
1)Go to setting and choose Power and uncheck the fastboot option.
2)Press power button and shutdown the phone.
3)wait for the complete shutdown and and press volume down button and power button.
5)click in fast boot and connect your mobile to pc with USB cable
6)copy the downloaded recovery.img to fastboot folder.
7)open cmd.exe from fastboot folder.
8)And type(fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) and press enter key.
9)you are done.
step5:Now click in recovery with the help of power button in your mobile.
step6:And TWRP recovery Will open and click install and choose a32_ul-SuperSU-v2.52.zip from your SD card.
step7:Reboot your device.

PS:
The only thing that miss is Wipe Data/Factory Reset e Wipe Cache Partition before reboot your device! But it works with HTC Desire 626x Monument to Santosh61 It wasn`t easy at all, I bought this phone in loco, Taiwan, and then after I left I found only post in Chinese for that version (I can speak just a bit, I am fluent only in Japanese and 6 other languages unfortunately Did I wont the prize as most humble of the forum ? Kidding
I have a sprint version, and I cannot get it in unlock mode. Help please?

Seems it is not working for Android 5.1
I have tried to google any custom recovery for A32_UL modelID: 0PKX20000 but no big luck with that.
Hopefully some one will have enough enthusiasm to build a custom recovery so it would be possible to root this device.

There is no other way.first you should make a HTC dev ID then only you can get a unlock token for unlocking bootloader.
