Hi can I know that Xperia z has the same ctia standard as Xperia s?
Because lot of headset do not work on Xperia s

Hi recently on sony Xperia middle east they have said Xperia z can support iphone and other heats like beats with mic. I am very happy with is because my Xperia s does not support all headsets

Hi, is there an app/software that helps to measure the loudness of my xperia v? I've compared my phone's speaker to that of SGS3 and iphone 4s, and it was relatively poor. The xloud did little to change the volume of it so I'm wondering if it's a hardware problem or inferiority of the speaker. Tried the xloud of neo v and the difference it made was much more distinct than my xperia v. Many thanks!

Is it worth it? Does bluetooth affect the sound quality? I have most of my song at 320kbps.. And I never had a bluetooth device before..so yeah..hope someone can give me some explanation whether the sound quality is affected or not.. Thanks in advance..

OK so I just got my xperia Z1 2 days ago and I love it. The only thing is that the sound is disgustingly low. My old xperia z was louder.
Now I have a hairbrain idea.
The xperia play is still the loudest xperia phone I ever had back in the day. Now I was wondering, if. By any means at all would it be possible to put a xperia play speaker in my Z1?(I wonder what that would do to the waterproofing.)

No, not possible, the Z1 speaker sucks because it has loads of protection against water on the inside replacing it with a different one would probably require heavy modifications to the phone's body
Your only option would be to install a custom kernel with sound control and use something like faux/kernel adiutor/pimp my Z1/... To up the sound leven beyond the stock limit
