[Q] Telstra 4G S3,Rooting? - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Quad-core 1.4GHz
4G LTE
2GB Ram
16GB Internal Storage.
I have no idea what model number or anything about this phone exept for these details and that it was bought outright with 11months warranty at the telstra shop and it is unlocked. i am buying secondhand for AUS$430
Before i purchase. how would i go about rooting and puttim CM10.1 Or some other Custom Rom onto this device? I will be using Optus 3G Before in a month upgrading to Telstra 3G(NextG) Prepaid.
Attatched are images of the phone. Could please get instructions/help/assistance. And details? i think it May be S3 4G I9305T but im not certain.
Help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance
P.S Considering it has warranty left if i custom and root it to infinity is their a way to remove it all and the check that it has been custom rom flashed back to default so i can take it in for warranty? or is their a way to flash custom roms like CM10 without "tripping the counter?" thanks very much in advance

Tmobile HD7 denmark

I was wondering if someone could help get me going in the right direction. I have a Tmobile HD7 on stock os version: 7.10.8107.79. Im going to send it to my friend in Denmark to use there. What do i need to do to get it to work properly there. i have it sim unlocked but id like to get it correct to work in europe with the danish language. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Read the rules before posting anything....this is the wrong section for such a question.....u have a general section for these doubts....
But since u posted....you don't have to do any changes if it's sim unlocked....he can use it perfectly over there....for the Danish language, its available with the tango update....once you update it you can change the system language to Danish ...
Mind where you post from next time...
Is the tango update available currently? if so how do i go about installing it on my stock phone?
Tango update is officially called Refresh....just wait you'll get an official update through Zune soon
Lets try posting in the correct sub-forum next time. Kthxbye.

[Q] Radio behaviour with different ROM's when phone is S-ON?

Hi all!
I have unlocked the bootloader on my phone thorugh HTC Dev, but unfortunately I cannot get S-OFF (yet, waiting patiently).
I have been trying out a few ROM's and I notced that on the latest one (that I really like!) I seem to get worse 4G coverage. I installed Android Revolution to get 4.3 and it seems to have noticeably worse 4G coverage around my office and my house. 1 bar instead of full bars.
I am just wondering; On the HTC Dev site it says that being S-ON protects what you should not change anyway, as the radio. So my radio should be the same. Might there be an issue with the compatibility between the radio and my current ROM? Is there such a thing?
Thanks in advance!
I have been googling, but there are too many variants of the HTC One out there, so I have not been able to find anything relevant to this issue on my phone.
This should be the relevant info from settings:

I've installed probably 40 different ROMs (not versions, ROMS) on my ATT One and I've noticed the same exact thing, I've actually stopped using a ROM and went to another one just to have my service feel regular again.
Changing a setting seems to have helped a lot for me. Read this post and the next page in the thread. :good:

T-Mobile stock rom on 920i from Singapore

Hello,
I have bought a note 5, which came with a singtel app, so it came probably from Singapore (good, because no region lock). It lacks Samsung pay and T-Mobile WiFi calling, so I am wondering what are my options for installing a different rom that would include any of these features, ideally the stock from t-mobile. Before I root the phone, any suggestions or pointers?
Best,
Do

You can install a different ROM on it, but not the one from T-mobile.
It's impossible unless you purchased US T-Mobile Variant.

Please excuse my english. Today i'm sharing some really nice fixes for this device, so it can work with a lot of roms from this website.
This is still a work in progress. Proceed at your own risk!
I've been a happy owner of a uncommon version of the Note 4, called China Mobile Note 4 (N9108V). It is a very similar model to the more popular N9100 (the one with two sims), but with 16GB of storage and a smaller 3000mah battery.
I bought it online in amazon, the original owner made me believe that the model i was buying was the N910C, and because i live very very far away (Ecuador), the trouble of returning the smartphone would have been terrible. So i kept it, and it was big headache.
Originally, it didn't have Google Apps installed. Also all the documentation i found was in chinesse, but with the help of my good friend Google Translate, it was possible to do a lot with this unicorn.

Cannot enable data roaming after installing Marshmallow on 625 please help !

Hi everyone ! I recently followed this guide [Guide] Cricket - Get Marshmallow! (6.0.1) - HTC 626s to install Android 6.0.1 on my Cricket HTC 625. I successfully installed the debloaded Sprint ROM from the guide.
I live in Europe (Netherlands) and have a simcard from Telfort. Mobile internet is working fine in my country, however I am not able to tap the Data roaming triangle. Is this because I am on my home network ?
Tomorrow I'll fly to another EU country and would like to use mobile data over there.
Will I be able to enable data roaming when I'm connecting to another network abroad or do I have to downgrade to the Cricket 5.1 ROM before departing ?
Any help is greatly appreciated !

I downgraded back to the original Cricket 5.0.1 Tom just before my travels to make sure I could use internet abroad. Anyone who can tell if data roaming will work for me abroad using the sprint rom ?
