you can try settings in sound menu, or in app settings, you might have it switched of in certain conditions, like when sound is on etc
Vibration test is available after typing *#0*# in dialer.
Still nothing wirh vibration.i will try to reinstall ultimate rom.last chance.

I would like to know if there is a way to make the capacitive button lights brighter. I would also like to know how to permanently keep the capacitive lights on with evil D's nxsense rom. Thank you in advance.

If you're rooted you can send the value 255 to /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness this turns it on. Any other value (say 0) turns it off. You will need to write an app (service) to receive the Intent.ACTION_SCREEN_ON intent and run a su shell command to turn off the button lights. Example code here.
Code:
echo 255 > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness
echo 0 > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness
If I were to go to the system/devices and find the led capcitive lights file, what exactly do I input and how???

You don't seem to understand what I am saying here, I was asking if there is a way to make them brighter and I already know how to turn on the led lights using gscript.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
No, there isn't. They're at full brightness.
O alright thanks but is there a way to have a sense camera while on stock 2.3
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
closest you'd get is through CM7. if you want that, just go back to froyo and you'll get a lot more customizability
And if I were to flash cyanogenmod, how exactly would I change the stock camera into an HTC sense camera
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
it won't be the sense camera. it'll just have some features. if you need anything else, search is your best friend
Alright thank you for the info

Tried some different f/w but none had the NC enabled...I´m using Paranoid Android...thank you.
TW (Touchwiz) based ROMs eg Ultimate ROM, have this feature. It can be enabled/disabled in dialer settings.

Well, if you're using PA, u will find it in the call settings
Call settings can be accessed from the dial pad by pressing the menu key -- Enable Noise suppression setting
Best of luck

Hi there, I'm currently running the Ripper ROM v.9 - great rom btw
But I'm having a minor issue/bug.
When I go in the S Voice settings and disable that double pressing the home button opens S Voice nothing happens .
So basically when the check box is unchecked, S Voice still opens up when I double press the home key even though i turned it of.
I wanted to see if any of you good people are having the same problem or even a fix.

Thank you for your input but I have already tried this before and it only creates an ugly lag where the phone tries to open S voice for a split second before getting killed.
So the issue stands but I'm suspecting it's related to my version of the rom and I hope everything will work fine after I make an update.
But if you have a solution please post it, you could always be helping someone.

Hi, are you tried to wipe data and cahe on settings/ application manager/ all/ S-Voice ?
S voice
You can run the 'make rom lite' package from RipperRom UpdateMe. This actually gets rid of S Voice totally!
I'm gonna flash ripper rom v10.0 now anyway. Hope this issue dissappears.
That lite thing would probably have worked though!

Had the same problem and it was because of jkay. If you're using it you'll have to buy jkay deluxe setting from the play store and then you'll find an option to disable the home button double click action.
Only if you're using jkay

I suppose you are on 4.2.2 now, no? Have you tried installing another dialer app from the play store? If not, do so and let's see.
