Hi all.First time,I want to say that this is my first post on XDA.I have a problem(a big one) with Samsung Galaxy S PLUS.I tried to do the update from Kies, but it doesn't work.I've lost the connection and now when I try to power up the phone it shows a PC and a mobile phone, yellow.
I tried to update to 2.3.6 with Odin, but also don't work.
When I try to do in RECOVERY MODE,it says:"ramdump mode cause force upload".

Don't worry. It isn't bricked. Do you know how to take it to download mode? Cuz u only goto ramdump mode if you press the wrong buttons. Just check.out the i9001 wiki.

You have to try again to get it into download mode.
Use Odin for your device model and run it as administrator. If Kies is installed, kill all Kies processes by using Task Manager. Prepare the files under PDA etc. Pull out the battery and hold power button pressed for 1min. Then keep all buttons combo for download mode and insert the battery while pressed (needs some acrobacy skills). If the download mode starts, you can connect your phone and flash firmware again.

Exactly happened to me I flashed hyperion8 and my phone is bricked how you described.
I phoned samsung today and told them my phone went off in the middle of a call and will no longer turn on(DO NOT MENTION FLASHING OR ROMs), tried different battery, tried pluging into charge, tried pluggin into computer, tried different charger, phone has never been dropped etc etc
They sending out packaging so can send to Samsung care, they guy said expect it to be returned 7-10 days later.
So happy days
Same here I bricked my phone ....don't remember exactly how gave it ssc didn't mention flashing and stuff and they are noob enough to fix phone for free so having warranty works in the advantage of flashing and all ......luckily my mini had two years warranty but it got over about a year ago and still mini is my main phone so cheer up and give it yo ssc

Does your phone still has a warranty?? If it still has a warranty, you can try to bring it up to the Samsung Service Centre..
By the way, excuse me, do you know what the differences of Download and Recovery mode is??
You said that "Only have response when i try to get it in recovery mode , (vol up + home + power) nothing appears on screen , but odin detects my mobile", what does it mean?
If you want to flash a stock-rom via Odin, just boot to download mode, not recovery mode..

Are you sure you cannot go into the download mode aka ODIN mode?
Volume down+Home button+Power button simultaneously
And if you are not be able to go into it, omg the only solution is to send it to a repair shop where JTAG exist A technician used a JTAG on my Xperia X10 Mini Pro when it got Hardbricked but thankfully, it brought back to life. Goodluck to you

broken Recovery Mode.. help needed

Hello,
first i want to excuse me for my bad english, i hope you will understand my problem.
I have a rooted GT-S5830 with Froyo (2.2.1).
The plan was to install CWM and then a custom Rom.
I've downloaded CWM 5.0.2.6 for the Galaxy Ace, renamed the .zip to update.zip (it doesn't work while it was named CWM_XXXXXXX.zip), copied it to SD-Card and installed it via the original Recovery Mode.
The Installation went well, i rebooted the phone and everything was fine.
Now the problem: I can't go to the Recovery Mode.
Every Time I press Home and Power, my Phine stuck at the second SAMSUNG-Logo and, after a few minutes, it boot to the"normal" Mode.
I've tried to do an update via KIES, but my Notebook says that the Phone will not be seen in Download-Mode...
Odin didn't see the Phone (same Problem...Download Mode...)
So... Is there any Idea to restore the Recovery Mode or renew it or... whatever.
Thank you all
greetings
stanse
now everything is broken...
OK,
thank you for thinking about it, now the Phone doesn't boot any more.
It stucks at the first SAMSUNG Logo.
In a german forum i found a .exe which will bring the phone to recover mode, i've tested it and now evrything is broken...
LESSON LEARNED...
Thank you all

Here is the link on how to install stock Gingerbread rom using odin along with all firmwares. Go to the "Preparations" section and download all the necessary files including drivers. When your notebook cannot detect the phone, its usually the drivers. To go to the download mode, hold Vol Down+ Home + Power button until you see "Downloading..." in the screen.
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
Once installed, go to recoverymod and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,

CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
Do post the result. Hope I Helped
Thank you for your post.
The biggest problem is that the phone will not be shown in download mode, so Odin says that there is no phone connected.
I have tried 3 different driver packages...
The link to Samsung says that the phone (GT-S5830) is too old for letting me download any driver.
I think that everything will work when the phone will be recognized by computer..
Thx

Can you tell me what happens when you hold Vol Down+ Home+ Power button?
Then the download mode starts...
It looks different like at my Galaxy S4, but there is written "downloading" in yellow letters
No Samsung Logo before, no sound, no animation...
Hope that this is the right mode...

Sorry for the new post, xda-app won't let me edit the one before...
My Notebook says that the last connected device can't be identificated and that there is a fault in the enumeration if the device (i've tried to translate it from german, even in german i don't know what that means).
Thank you for your help

That is the Download Mode of Galaxy Ace alright. All you have to do now is connect to the odin and it should detect the phone. If not please reinstall the drivers. Hope I Helped
I've done exactly what you say nearly hundred times, with different driver packages, different computers, different cables, yesterday, today, at morning, afternoon and evening. I don't know what to do now...
I think that it is a driver fault, but no chance to fix it.
There are lots of problems wich are more important than this...
Thank you for your help, but i think that i need a new way to solve the problem.
Time will tell.
Thx

simple solution to yr problem. reinstall kies, or if you dont ve it install remember to stay connected to internet, when kies ask if u want to install driver for bada or other models check the box. the next time u connect yr phone in download mode yr drivers will be installed... or if u can get another working ace connect to yr pc to geet the drivers installed.
Ok, first thx for your post...
I need another Ace for testing what you told.
I'll post here when i found one.

Another Ace, another fail...
Next try with Windows XP, hope i will find a computer with XP...
Is there anyone who connected an ace to a linux OS?
Is there a live CD with an OS wich will be
Supported by all necessary programs?
When there will be no solution, than there is another question: WILL IT BLEND???

I don't know what you mean by connecting to Linux. But if you meant using odin in Linux, then well it will not work even with Wine. Wine doesn't work reliably with things that need hardware connections.
