You are new here doesn't mean you can use slang. This forum has members from all over the world. So use proper English!
1. If you want to upgrade, why root it first? Upgrade and then root.
2. All updates will be available!
3. No
Answers to all your questions aare already posted in the sub-forum.

Something is seriously b0rked in your system, so I'd advise you to go
back to rooted stock like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25285584&postcount=3
You'll have full root after that, and your CWMR will be fully functional.
For now my phone is useable, everything works but not cwmr.... Should i still need to get a new stock rom?
From what i read in the topic you link to me...
Does it del away my kernel and etc....?

CLOSE THIS THREAD. PROBLEM SOLVED.
Hey guys! I'm new to XDA and I have a question: How can I root my Galaxy Mini SAFELY? I already broke 4 phones and my parents are getting really mad if I break another one.
I already tried the following:
-SuperOneClick (Any version I could find )
-Z4Root (Just freezes :/)
-UniversalAndRoot (Doesn't work too )
I don't want to use GingerBreak and Odin because I am really sure I would mess it up.
http://androidforums.com/galaxy-mini...3-2-3-7-a.html
I found this site and I was wondering if it would work with my phone too.
Please reply if it works for my phone
Some detailed info about my phone:
Carrier: T mobile NL
Language: Netherlands
Picture: IMPORTANT

You need to be on Gingerbread first before you can flash your phone with an ICS ROM. The following web site gives an easy step by step tutorial plus download links to get ICS on your SGS.
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/android-4-0-4-rom-galaxy-s/
Ray.
or get 2.3.x updated from kies , than root it and then do cyan9 , its best. worked like charm. just read the instructions and follow it.
Kies says am upto date with latest software can i get gingerbread without kies?

You can update your device till 2.3.6.
Unfortunatelly I only have a german page with the explanation.
Actual firmware you find here for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570488
I think in this thread the users could help you.
Yes, using the Odin. Look here:
w*w*w.theandroidsoul.com/galaxy-s-gets-android-4-0-based-aokp-rom/
For install ICS, you need first install a GB 2.3.6 rooted, look here :
w*w*w.theandroidsoul.com/xxjvu/
end enjoy.
Atencion, take very carefull in this journey. Read all with very carefull.
Sorry for my poor english.
BEWARE: You are coming from Froyo - so you have to flash an android version that includes a socalled "bootloader" (some versions don't include that, as far as I know).
Reed carefully first before flashing.
Thanks guys I did it through Odin now on 4.0 whoooooo lol

Many developers came from India but many stupids from there too...
STOP creating new threads and START READING dude. Geez.. =.=''
Try factory reset. Wipe cache. You will lose all data though. Make sure to save your contacts to ext sd card. For battery issue, you need to calibrate it. Use it until it runs out of battery/till it dies. Then charge it to 100% and leave it for additional 30 mins. Don't turn on the device until you plugged charger off after the additional 30 mins.
Hope this helps.

Galaxy S Advance slow after upgrade to Jelly Bean
Check whitch localization have your smartphone and install correct version of Android. If you install for example rom from India on phone from England then system slow down and drain battery insead 21 days to 10 hours. Is important whitch Gingerbread was installed and wjere phone was bought. This is propably Google Android bug.

Think he fixed it already or dumped the phone since he posted almost 2 years ago...
Ok i know that it must look very silly to post something like this but honestly i just get too confused.
I am an owner of a GT I9000 Galaxy S with the followning : 2.3.3 / I9000XXJVQ / 2.6.35.7-I9000XWJVN-CL366455 RΟΟΤ@DELL86 #2 / GINGERBREAD.XWJVN
I really want to put inside a custom rom with the latest Jelly Bean firmware but i have no idea.
I know that i have to root the phone... but honestly i have seen there are so many things that i get compilated...
I think i should start with a software called odin and then i have to find a kernel (which one) and then a CF (which one) etc...
If there is anyone that could help me i would really appreciate it...
Thank you in advance!!!
u need to upgrade to 2.3.6 first
see n read here on how to flash using odin n cwm n where to find ur cf root

actually its written there,in da link, u need to download 2.3.6 in ur version or pick jvu (given on da link). if u hit update button on ur fone n definitely no update available.
its come out to this. if u can/know to choose ur own cf root. then its okay to flash juz cf root to ur fone (its for obtaining cwm n root). but if u do not know which one. then upgrading to jvu will be better as da cf root for jvu pretty common here.
flash da cf root with odin by putting cf-root ***.tar to PDA (without pit file) n with auto-reboot check only.
if u cant seem to choose ur own cfroot. then upgrading to jvu is da best method. da link for Firmware jvu+cf root already been given in da link. juz follow it n if u got any question n then u should come here
