Hey , I seem to be stuck on a bootloop , with NO recovery options. I can't even do the Power+M so I can SBF it. Also , when it turns on to get to the bootloop , it completely skips the Motorola Dual Core screen. I had disabled safestrap prior to this , since I wanted to SBF , and It wouldn't go to the AP fastboot screen. And now , not only can I not get to that , but now I can't even get into my safestrap. I'm using 2.10 btw. Helppp

What about X+power?
Nope. All it does is go to a boot loop and says droid over and over with the red eye
now it doesnt even get to the red eye , the screen lights up for a few seconds , then it gets really dim to where it looks like its off , but its still on..
are you pressing (m, x, or volume down) before replacing battery?
No should I be??
if it's not working the other way
Nope thats not working either

I am not sure what happens but here is what I've done:
Installed Safestrap
Install Recovery
Clear cache/phone
Boot to phone and went through setup
Now phone just shows white screen
Battery is 90%
Took out battery & reboot, phone just lit up and goes away
Try unbrick method m+power, nothings happens
any idea or is this phone is a brick now?
Thanks.
Does it show the M dual core logo when you first turn it on? If so then all you have to do is SBF.

Nope, nothing, it just flash and nothing. Not even M logo or anything. I just don't know what could cause it. All I did was install the bootstrap and clear cache/reset and now it just like a brick. Thanks.
Hey there, I received my HTC One today and am encountering an issue when trying to unlock the bootloader.
Once the phone has booted up it works perfectly fine, but before it has fully booted there is nothing actually shown on the screen.
While booting it is completely black, no boot animation at all.
I turn it on, and it stays black for a while, and when I press the power button again it is already booted up and shows the phone OS.
Even going into the bootloader gives a black screen. So I have no way to actually navigate it properly.
Using the All in one toolkit I was able to unlock the bootloader, even with a black screen, so I am fairly sure it is actually entering into the bootloader even though I cant see it. At least I believe it unlocked it. The toolkit indicated it was successful.
Anyone have any advice on how I can get the bootloader to actually show something other than black ?
I was able to unlock it and install the recovery manually using fastboot, even with the screen black.
Unlocking it reset the device to default, and the recovery install appeared to go over with no issues.. but I cant actually use the recovery due to the black screen.
Anyone have any idea at all what could cause this ?
I doubt this is it but check if fast boot is on. It's under power settings. If that dpesnt do it then u might have to ruu if not there's something wrong with ur device bro

Fastboot is not enabled.
I was going to attempt to ruu to fix the issue, but I already did an OTA update to 1.31 to try to fix the problem, and there is no RUU for that yet unfortunately.
As a side note, if I enable fast boot the animations actually appear when booting. But can't get into bootload with fastboot on.

can somebody please help me? my screen just went black at work today and it does nothing at all now. if I hold the power button it vibrates once. if I hold power+volume down I get to recovery. I tried to reboot from there and I get the unlocked bootloader warning screen and from there it just goes to a black screen. so I get back to recovery and installed my back up and that didn't help at all. somebody please help me.
So the bootloader is unlocked, what else have you done to the phone?
You may need to reflash it with rsdlite.
OP you need to provide more details. are you getting the M logo? is it bootlooping? is the phone doing ANYTHING but getting in to recovery?
load the fastboot menu and use mfastboot to flash the system, boot and recovery images. you should be able to bring the phone back to life without losing data.

the only thing ive done to the phone is put xposed framework on it and gravity box. that was prob a month ago tho. this is the first prob ive had with the phone.
You may want to follow this guide to return the phone to stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446515
You could also try commenting out the line that overwrites user data so you don't lose your data.
Try plugging your phone into the original charger and then boot to recovery, from their try rebooting while still plugged in. If that doesn't work try this again but wipe just the caches and reboot while plugged in. I have had a screen go black before on other devices and plugging the original charger(car and most others didn't work) in and booting to recovery then rebooting would get it working again.
PS When you boot to recovery check your battery level.
well...I used the moto x toolkit and returned to stock using that. everything booted up. so far everything is looking good. lost all my data but that's not that big of a deal.

Hey guys, got a problem with my M7.
My phone was working fine. Was getting ready to flash a new rom. I moved the .zip into my root folder.
Went to reboot my phone into recovery to flash it, but it gets stuck on the white HTC screen. Powered off, booted into bootloader. Tried to enter recovery through bootloader, but I still get stuck on the white HTC screen.
Any ideas?
edit: and now, the phone won't boot at all ...

Well I'm pretty sure just copying a rom to the phone didn't do anything to it. what else happened between then and now
Nothing at all. Here's basically what I did.
1. Backed up phone in recovery.
2. Reboot.
3. Loaded rom to /root using computer.
4. Attempt to boot in recovery ..
And that's it.

is the battery dead ?
does the pc load any drivers when you plug it in ?
does the charging lights work ?
Nope, charging lights do not work ... It wasn't a full battery, but was around 70% last I remember.
Ok, was able to boot using the bright light method.
Still no dice on booting past the white HTC screen. When I try to boot to TWRP through the bootloader, it'll show the TWRP splash screen, then automatically go back to the white HTC screen.

Reflash recovery and erase cache
you may have to format data in TWRP and totally wipe the phone.
also flashing stock recovery and doing a factory reset from stock will rebuild the partitions and sometimes make the phone stable again
Hey Xda-ers,
I'm freakin out about my phone. I was using hangouts this morning and it just rebooted itself and got stuck on boot screen. It has NEVER done this before and always worked fine. I was on USS Enterprise ROM I believe. I can only get into download mode, so naturally I tried to flash stock h81120o (the version I was already on and rooted) and LGUP completed fine. Only my bootloader was still unlocked and it still was stuck on boot screen. Does anybody know what I can do to at least relock the bootloader so I can do a warranty claim with T-mobile....or get my phone back working if this is not catastrophic.
Oh I also tried holding down & power, no recovery...and cannot use the buttons to factory reset either. Then it loops and get stuck again.
Ditto

Did you ever find an answer to this ? Almost the same thing happened to me , i updated H81120p Extreme and phone booted back into Boot Screen and stayed there forever. I tried flashing H81120p using LGUP but am stuck on boot screen still.

How can i tell if this is indeed a hardware issue ? I am guessing it is though also the serial number falls in the problem range.
