[Q] Software update won't work on XX DBT BLL5

Hi all, on my i9305 with BLL5 fw when I try and look for updates it remains stuck on research. Anyone else with this fw may try and confirm?
Thanks

Hello, yes I know it is the latest one. But when checking it should say 'no updates available'. Actually in my telephone it does remain on searching, that is the strange thing

Well go to manage apps and in the all section look for software update and clear the data and cache.
Reboot your device. Then try again
If anything it will update through kies unless you have it rooted or with a custom recovery

Does your status say modified if so it won't get an update that way

Yes it says status modified (as it is rooted).
I am not surprised that I would never really get a fw update this way. But I guess that software update should give me some error message... whilst it does not give any result.
I would like to see what's the behaviour of this feature for somebody else who has a rooted stock fw... just to see if some message pops up or if it keeps on searching an infinite time...

I would not worry about it since you will not get any updates period as long as you have modified status.
Since your modified now, and the only way to go back is to factory restore and make sure your counter is at 0
Go and try a cool ROM like pandoriam

[Q] Does anyone know how to convert from cyanogen mod to stock Samsung?

Do I just have to connect the phone to Kies and will automatically update the phone?
I have the following issue, it's super annoying as the phone is 'blocking' a number from calling it to, even though the number is NOT on the blacklist
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41570841
The other problem is that I also can NOT unlock the phone. I called AT&T and they gave me an unlock code, but the unlock code does NOT work on the phone.
For the unlock, I am not sure if it's cyanogen mod problem, or the unlock code is not the right code, but it's frustrating not being able to bring the phone to overseas.
Thank you.
No, you need Odin on Windows and Samsung rom's files.

what do you mean? Can you please explain further?

It's not easy to explain in few words...
You can search in the development forum or at sammobile site for full instructions.
You basically need a software on your PC (Odin) and a ROM for your country (you'll find it on XDA or sammobile, FW section).
