I've been hearing horror stories about Sandisk regarding these microSD's but then again I heard the same horror stories about Sandisk when I bought a card of the same brand for my very old fat PSP and a very old digital camera with no issues.
How long have you had this card for? Most reviews say the problems start around 3 months on average
Ordered, I have one now and it says 10 (as in class 10) on the card, this one doesn't have it
Thanks

You have to understand that SanDisk had a bad batch of cards like a year ago. Today people like to ride the bandwagon of gossip and such so it's rough for companies to recover from bad press.
I've had this current card for just a few weeks. I also have a SanDisk card in my old Infuse, in my Canon camera, and in several thumb drives that I use for work.
I do have a few Lexar cards but they're just too expensive frankly.

heres an email from sadisk from last year
heres an email straight from Sandisk
Sandisk has been experiencing a higher than normal return rate on their 64gb cards and has recalled a part of their inventory. They will be replacing the defective units with working ones. Expect a delay of about a week.
everyone should be safe to buy these now
Price just went back up to $58.

Meritline is an awesome site. I order tons of stuff from there (especially their 3 packs of HDMI cables, usually with coupon for 6.99)
But there shipping is quite slow unless you live close to California. or can wait for things to arrive from the Far East. (Hong Kong, Singapore, China)
The other thing is their customer service is top notch!
For just a couple more dollars you can get one from Newegg if you are in a hurry...
I got a class 2, 8 GB card at my local electronics store for $17. Don't waste money/effort getting your hands on a class six because the Hero won't read it at it's native speed.

That is false, and frankly I'm damned sick of hearing that BS repeated over and over. The "class 2" thing comes entirely second-hand from some user who apparently got a note from a random low-level customer service rep saying something to that effect. Well it's not true.

The Hero is fully capable of exceeding the read and write capacities of a Class 2 card. My Hero maxes out at about 2.5 - 3 MB/s writing to the included Class 2 card, but easily reaches 6-8 MB/s using my aftermarket Class 6 card.
Definitely, definitely, definitely get a Class 6 card, whatever size you buy. It's absolutely worth it.
Anyway, NewEgg will ship you an 8GB Class 6 card from the US for $22.95. I'd recommend that instead.
Great find! Thanks!

Even if that wer the case (which is not), then you try and buy stuff hard proofing it for the future, so the logical way would be to buy a class six card, which you can use when in the future you dont have a Hero anymore and do have a phone that "supports" class six.
Even less expensive!
Meritline has another brand Class 6 8GB for a dollar less (with shipping)! Only $18.45.

It's obviously loading the songs list... the builtin mp3 is just catchy eyecandy with very small configurability, I use mortplayer for my audio playback needs.
Obviously as well, if you ask HTC's support, they're gonna tell you that it's your MP3's fault, and that their software is faultless

So for Christmas my wife got me a 64GB memory card. I had sent her links to places where it was on sale (amazon/radio shack) but she found one cheaper on eBay... I had not told her eBay was full of fakes. So thats where she got one from. It was a fake (4GB card formatted to look like it was 64GB). We filed a complaint w/ eBay after the seller was unresponsive and got our money back. But now all of the sales for the holiday are over :crying:
Does anybody know a good place to get a 64GB microSD card? Amazon has them for $60 but they where around $40 for Christmas.
I know its been said before but be careful of eBay and microSD cards. I knew better but she didnt. Make sure others know as well!

The sandisk work fine for a few months then you'll get an error or too then it won't even be recognized in your phone or your computer. Luckily I made a backup onto my computer just before it crapped out. sandisk == never again
I've used sandisk for over 10 year not a single problem.
It's funny how so many people are having issues with SanDisk. For $22 pretty decent i guess.
Package looks really damage though
Considering i bought my SanDisk Ultra microSDHC UHS-I 32GB card for about 40$, and the regular one class 4 was selling for around 32$, that looks like a decent deal.
Wouldn't worry about the package though, as long as the card is intact everything would be fine.

Bought the card finally from him.
It was indeed seal packed. The top part was actually folded which looked as if it had been cut.
If the card breaks down, how do i claim the warranty?
Just by showing the card wrapper ?

Just cancelled my order through Amazon, and placed it through Best Buy. Now I don't have to wait. Thanks!!!
Dammit, just bought yesterday, already processed so too late to cancel and they won't price match on a Today Only deal. Eh, it was worth a shot.
Re: TODAY ONLY!! SanDisk - Ultra 64GB microSDXC Class 10
Amazon has it listed at $55.33. My SanDisk 32gb just dies not sure if I want to give the 64gb a chance

I got my samsung 64gb at Frys for a little under 60, believe sandisk is the same price too, but good find for people that dont have a Frys near by
I've tried two different SanDisk 64GB SDXC Class 10 cards in two different Bell Galaxy Note II phones. In each case, my phone status changes from "normal" to "modified" after a reboot. I can read and write from/to the card just fine but the phone won't check or pull down Android updates. When I take the card out or replace it with my old 32GB PNY card and reboot, status goes back to "normal". I waited to see if the next Android update might fix this but it didn't. By the way, one card was purchased from Amazon while the other was from Best Buy so they weren't from the same batch. Also, one of the phones that I tried this with was brand new, unused and still at the Bell Aliant store where I purchased the original phone.
Take this for what it's worth. No one else on here seems to have experienced this issue.
Got my SanDisk 64GB class 10 from rakuten.com for $35 a couple weeks ago with $20 off $50 coupon...
How much was it yesterday? It's saying it's on sale for $59.99 today.

Nope, all stock, never rooted. It's the damndest thing I've ever seen and no clue as to why it's only happening to me.

Used or refurbished? Only time I was unable to get updates was on a used One X that I bought from Craigslist. Turns out it was a developer model from overseas so I couldn't even get updates from it's home region.
Pain in the arse.

Brand new. I got my Note 2 the day they were released for sale here in Canada. The other phone that I tried was also brand new, still in store a month or so after I bought the one I have. I went in-store, told the sales guy the problem I was having and he took out a new one to try. Lo and behold, same problem.
