Well android can move parts of apps to the SD card. Go to manage applications > app > move to SD card.
If you want to use a2sd were all of an app is moved, then I think you will need root.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using my hands
Use free app2sd applications from market. But they will move only compatible appz. Dalvik cache and other files + non compatible appz will stay in phone memory. So really it doesn't affect storage that much.

so if u REALLLY want some SPACE rootyour phone!!! its nothing to be scared of , u can always unroot your phone to claim warranty
s2e( only for cm7 roms ) and link2sd are two apps which give u a LOT of internal memory but both require root , so .......

thx for ur help.
but that didnt work.
Navigon is not supported by these apps.
Do u have another idea for me?
It's not possible, sorry.
Navigon should detect data on the internal memory as SD-card though, it is mounted as /sdcard. Are you sure you placed your data in the right directory?
The only thing you can do is send a message to Navigon telling them to hurry up and add support for /ext_card.
You can send them this:
Hello,
I have purchased Navigon for Android, but unfortunately my phone doesn't seem to be supported. The Xperia Z (just like most new phones) has the internal memory mounted as /sdcard but Navigon doesn't find data placed there. The removable SD card is mounted as /ext_card and data there isn't recognized there either. Could support for /ext_card be added? This will be a standard used by most (if not all) Android phones that will be released in 2013 (with Jelly Bean).

gl to sd is not a user freindly app, is there any other way to do that? now that i have installed 4.2.2 version of os, gl to sd has been reported to have bugs on 4.2
4.2.2 already has that option

I believe that 4.2.2. already has this option to move most of the apps to sd card by default. Use App2sd to see all the movable apps at once. So that you can get the idea of movable apps in one picture. Or use Advanced sd card app.
You may be knowing it, but your question has confused. Apologies if you already know about it. Just wanted to help.
Cheers! ! !

Hello there. You can use Link2SD, after you root your phone. Rooting will not modify your phone; rather, it helps you have better control over how your device works.
Take a look at this thread on rooting your SP.
Once you've rooted, you can partition the sdcard using Minitool Partition Wizard on Windows after which you can link all of the apps you want moved to the sdacard.
Best of luck.

bro i am rooted can you be more specific how to use create partition.thnks
ok just noticed that this phone actually have built in sdcard..
when i see the file explorer, there's sdcard0 (the internal built-in sd) and sdcard1 (the external sdcard)
i guess it's already partitioned and linked by default thus increasing its internal memory by using internal sdcard...
so i found this guide : http://www.droidiser.com/2012/11/swap-internal-sdcard-external-mod-android.html
saying it can swap the phone to use external sdcard instead of internal... hmmm intersting
should i do this? please need expert here !

for me i use foldermount. its a bit like link2sd but this only moves the files inside the android/data and android/obb folder. but this one is better because you dont have to create another partition on your SD card. im not against using script to swap the internal and external but if something were to happen, its gonna be messy. so folder mount is the best solution for me right now.
using foldermount i can install wicked games like wildblood, avenger initiative, minion rush, pacific rim, royal revolt, csr racing and still have 3.4GB free on my internal.

I think we really need to use foldermount for now. Ive tried messing around with vold.fstab and failed. First pic is my tipo with 32gb internal. 2nd pic is sp. Now, how to make that microsd become /sdcard? Or rather /storage/sdcard0? Sure foldermount works, but manually moving everything after every install? Its better if we can find a permanent solution like this vold.fstab mod.
