Hi Again
I am posting here another rom basically improved version of my last rom as I have learnt a lot from my last porting.
This rom still may have small bug and again I am saying will try to address.This rom has
1.CAMCORDER : I have added ICS and LG cam to avoid any error in camera.for best recording use LG camera with 128Kbps bitrate stereo audio and 44.1KHz sample rate.
2. CAMERA : Bravia engine with no image compression ( 3-4mb per image)
3. Music : Again android 4.2 music player
4. Battery : Tweaked : Please wipe battery stats before tweaking
5. Looks : Two new themes 1. Honeycomb 2.HTC Sense with blue battery
6.Bootanimation : Beats audio boot animation
7. Gaming: Again played temple run worked Ok
8. reboot time is very less.
9. and Many More

Request
As a request I just want to say that I am a newbie and just doing all this stuff by copy, paste and edit and little bit knowledge.
My main motive is to learn something and side by side keep this forum alive as this is my first android device and I love it.
Just to share that this is my 3rd rom in 4 days and to bring it to reality I have flashed my phone at least more than 500 times by making small changes to rom and to check if it works or not. I am trying to port 2-3 other roms and just want support of you all.
So please if some bug is there please report and if possible help to remove it or provide me link to some tutorial to debug it

Tanuj... I am getting process com.android error because of that my dialer get forced closed ... I did everything (formating catche, delvik catche, reflshing system and lab lab lab) to make it work again ... now I will flash other kernel to check it....
any solution ... is it because of framework file from U8800 ??

Why after on airplane mode or lost signal it always asks for network PIN? Also FC when making a phone call.

Hi all
For Phone Fc
Take this Phone.apk copy it to system/app through root explorer and set permission to RW-R--R--.
If it start force close just reboot to recovery, go to advanced option and set permission.
Please share after this step.

This is bco I updated some files so it show two folders as per date.
More than that I don't know myself

Use third party dialer it will not FC
Tanuj... thanks for solving Bug ... need to use third party dialer (i am using exDialer ) to avoid FC after call..... actually call log is causing FC... now by using using exDialer I am able to test this ROM...

Isn't there a chance the double folders make conflicts that cause dial problem? which one to delete or rename?
Also build propline says hxupa? Is that ok too?

i pushed phone.apk to sys-app
as soon as i did it the android sys process started fc frequently it was not even letting me set permissions
fixed permissions in cwm
and now working fine

[Q] The application Samsung Home(process...) has stopped.

Hi am using Samsung Galaxy Pop 2.2.1..
i hav been using Go Launcher Ex for a while ,when i checked in Manage Applications , i found tat Go Launcher took almost 12 MB of my internal memory so i just backed up the app and uninstalled it ...
The problem started rit after tat ,am unable to get into my Home Screen it says "The application Samsung Home(processcom.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly.Please try again " ""FORCE CLOSE""
I Force closed it many times after few force closes the phone starts vibrating continuously wich made me switch off the Phone .
I removed my battery switched it On ,but still the problem continues ...
I DONT WANNA DO A RESET OF MY PHONE AS I WILL LOOSE ALL MY DATA'S ...
WAT SHOULD I DO ???
PLEASE HELP (((((( ....

best thing would be to flash cwm recovery then with the help of aroma file manager copy a launcher's apk into /data/app

Flashing CWM requires root o wat ?
I havn't rooted my phone ,and iam bit scared to do it

You can also try to get into the system settings and select 'delete data' at the samsung homescreen-app. Then all your widgets etc are removed but it works again.

Does clearing the data of Samsung home deletes oly the widgets ?
Or
Will it delete my contacts , installed apps , backed up apps , bookmarks ?
Also i wud lik to know wat made tis "The application Samsung Home ............" error to come ?

No no!! If you clear data, the homescreen will be reset to default, means all the shortcuts/widgets you placed there and the wallpaper will be removed but u can place theme there again, if you want. The apps and the widgets you installed are still available

May i know wat made tis error to occur please, so tat i don wanna repeat the same mistake again ?

there's many thing things that might have caused that, and it's not really serious so no stress. now you know what to do if it happens again

no, you need root access to use sd-ext partition created on sd card as internal memory

Don't be scared dude... We also had our first time when rooting... First, i guess what you should do is... Upgrade your phone to Gingerbread(2.3.6) via kies. Then Google "Root galaxy mini 2.3.6". You will find awesome tutorials out there. You will then finally root your device and then are able to enter the world of Custom ROMs. No need to be scared..... With a Samsung device it's really easy...

At samsung forum they told me it's an incompatibility of any app but it can also be anything else

Now i press the home key and no response ....can anyone tell me the app for the home key...?
Moreover , i also lost my lockscreen lol, every time i wake up my phone it goes straight to the screen....also this one plz?
I'm gonna spam u with thanks if u can give me the apk of these apps lol

Easy way would be to restore a backup and re-start again

Format it !
Why don't you go to the recovery mode and factory resent your phone.
I guess that will fix it.

I think that it won't work because you have deleted the system's base aplication therefore will be restored everything by default except for those deleted apps

How about downloading the original firmware from sammboile and flashing through odin ?

Or flashing a custom rom

what apps r annoying for u?
all apps that seems as 3rd party, however u could remove them without root access!

removed all faceboock n tweeter crap along with themes and live walpapers, maps and most duplicate app and apps i never use

You can disable it - problem solved But I agree, for those who are rooted, it's best to get rid of what you don't need to...
BTW. they should really STOP putting all this FB/Twitter crap on our phones... you can get those from Play, no need to put it as a "factory app" that can't be removed

You need root to delete system files,but you can disable any app you want from applications settings.

Anyone who has a backup of the xperia for facebook apk? I accidentally removed mine and when I click share on the albums it only shows the one for the facebook app and not the xperia for facebook. Thank you in advance.

I deleted all Google, facebook, twitter & linkedin sh*t from my XZ as soon as I rooted my device, which is to say, half an hour after buying it, and i've never looked back. Must be tough for you....live and forget the net alternative to having live friends & relatives, you'll never regret it...

Hi there i wanna use android 4.1 becouse battery is much better on 4.1 than 4.3 and multitask for me is better but udate notification is all the time ... any one know how to disable it with out root ?

Long press the notification and choose App Info, then uncheck Show notification

Nope dont let freeze becouse its system app ad can couse damage ...

root the phone and delete the update app from /system, I've always done this way
this way you will loose also some sony apps updates maybe, but you can still get them here in the forum (even more updated from other phones maybe)

I am with the rooting approach. But in that case you can simply freeze it then.
If you don't like rooting you may try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.weborienteer.utilits.hibernate&hl=en . It can hibernate many system apps.
