When I flash CM 7.2 for the mini, do I automatically get Superuser-access or do I have to first flash a superuser.apk?

You automatically will get superuser-access.
AW: Root access with original CM 7.2 for S5570
Ah ok, I just wasn't shure because in the cm-wiki it is said you should flash all 'third-party apps' you need as system-apps. But if Superuser isn't meant as such a 'third-party app', it's ok.

Look at the changelog. Its mentioned that superuser app is present.

Now we have official support from Cm7.2 and CWM so ROM MANAGER should work for update the ROM?

Squadzone's CWM is V5.0.2.8 and CWM OFFICIAL is V5.0.2.6 so squadzone's is better.

Even Squadzone's is Touch enabled, and official says Touch version is N/A.
EDIT: Anyways compared to Ace and Gio, we've got a better/updated 'official' version.

I think it is safe if you already have cm7.2 official and CWM OFFICIAL installed. If you have this I THINK you can update your rom via rom manager.
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE TRY YOURSELF

z4root has a temporary option, as well as a permanent one. I guess it shoul disappear on next restart. Also, get the superuser app to manage your app permissions
Try this for root your galaxy mini

Downloads superoneclick.exe

Yes you are right just gingerbread 2.3.4
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda app-developers app
why temp root is needed
just root your phone permanently and then unroot it when you don't need root with the help of supersu app
and gb can also be rooted with the help of superoneclick
My friend has mini and i dont see an official jelly bean on mini. So his device is on gb 2.3.6 and i want to flash pacman rom so is it ok if i flash directly from 2.3.6 using cwm/stock tecovery?
Sent from my GT-I8160 using xda app-developers app
you can't flash a custom rom with stock recovery so your gonna have to flash CWM first but you can't do that until you have root.
I see. So gb 2.3.6 then root then get cwm then flash pacman thru cwm then all is good?

No, you only need to do the "common" way to flash ROM.
